Chapter 70

She smiled at me and kissed my cheek. "You look pretty" she told me.

I lightly tickled her side, making her squirm on the bed. "We both look pretty" I stated. She nodded her head, putting a hand on her hip like a little diva. I laughed, as a knock sounded at the door. "Come in" I called out.

Turning, I saw Dave standing in the doorway. He was wearing dark jeans and a grey button up. "You're such a pretty princess" he told Riley in a kid's voice. She happily nodded her head. "People are waiting; not everyone is here yet though" he informed me.

I smiled at him and quickly put on light pink lipstick. "Okay. I'm ready" I told him.

He looked at me and raised an eyebrow. "I thought girls had an obsession over shoes. But both of you are barefoot" he stated. I lightly smacked my forehead and grabbed a pair of pink flats for me and black flats for Riley. "Better" Dave nodded in approval.
