Chapter 68

I grinned and shook my head. "Roughly two minutes" I corrected him. I forgot who, but someone had told me the story about how we were born. Luckily they didn't go through all the details like where we came from; if you get what I mean. "David Christopher Road was born roughly two minutes after Alicia Bell Road" I declared.

"Road" he muttered. I smiled and nodded my head. "You're one of us now" he stated, bumping his shoulder into mine.

Laying my head on his shoulder, I slowly exhaled. "I've always been a Road. I just didn't know it" I said softly. "So you really wanna adopt her?" I questioned, going back to the previous topic.

Dave nodded his head. "It'll be a first- a werewolf adopting a witch. And that werewolf is the heir to the throne. That makes things so complicated" he mumbled.

I chuckled. "Anything involving our family is complicated" I reminded him. I can't think of one thing in our lives that isn't complicated. "I want coffee" I blurted.
