Chapter 66

I moved up to my tippy-toes and firmly pressed my lips to his. My heart was beating wildly in my chest. We haven't had an actual kiss before, and it's weird to initiate one. He wasn't moving, making me nervous. Just as I was about to pull away, I felt his hand move to the back of my neck. Jeremy went from being frozen to moving his lips at a quickened pace.

Smiling into the kiss, I wrapped my arms around his neck as his other hand wrapped around my waist and pulled me into his body. Chest to chest, we were frozen in the middle of the hallway with our lips locked. Jeremy slowly slipped his tongue into my mouth. His hand on my neck moved into my hair.

After a while, we pulled away. Our chests heaved up and down as we struggled to get air into our lungs. "I don't think we'll ever go on that walk" Jeremy stated.
