Chapter 52

I grabbed a cup and filled it with water. "Your damn son" I mumbled before sipping on the cold liquid. I didn't even have a five minute conversation with Jeremy, but I left with anger coursing through my veins. He was just being unfair about the whole thing. What gives him the right to know more about my life, than I do? It's my life!

"Do you have Em's number?" I blurted. Stewart nodded his head and pulled out his phone. He handed me the device, and I thanked him while taking it. After finding my mother's number, I pressed the call button. Stewart quickly ducked out the room to give me privacy. I made a mental note to thank him again.

The dial tone stopped before Em's voice filtered through the phone. "Stewart? Is Alicia alright?" she asked immediately.
