I went about my days as I normally would, even though there were agents across the street, watching my apartment in the most discreet way. How many times did I make a point of locking the doors and walking around naked just to provoke the agents.
But there comes a time when people get tired, and I was no different.
It was at a time when I was losing my grip and going after each of these damn guys that I felt a ping. It was as if my soul felt something familiar, far away.
I started to pay attention, trying to feel it over and over again. I did, and a smile graced my face, which was clearly seen by the agents in the front building. I was packing my things, it was time for my departure.
My problem now was Peter and May. I loved those two like they were my family, and I needed to leave something for the boy. I don't want to say goodbye to the boy, I can't.
I went to the owner of the building and bought it, leaving it in the name of Maybelle Parker and Peter Parker. Also a good amount of cash, and some more in my apartment safe.
After all, he was authoritatively cutting May's business as well, and he didn't want to leave the pair in a desperate situation. I left a letter, along with many of the magazines I remember reading in a past life.
That was the treasure I left Peter. This way he will have a lot to read and not worry about anything but his studies.
Locking the apartment, I leave the key on the balcony of the Parker apartment, and leave the building, heading towards an alley.
I blend into the darkness, waiting for the two onlookers who were following me. As soon as they enter the alley, the shadow creates eyes, closing off the exit, and I reappear.
"Tell both heads of both SHIELDs. If, for any second or moment, they think to lay a finger, on the Parker family, I guarantee, their souls, will be mine for all eternity and I guarantee, I will make them suffer. A lot.
In case I haven't made that very clear, I hope my warning is of good understanding." I disappear back into the shadows.

POV Treehouse, OCCUPIED HYDRA BASE
Screams of pain and despair were heard in every corridor. Blood bathed many places, walls, ceiling, window panes, tables, curtains. The color of the lamps were red now, as blood dripped onto the floor.
The scene, one that even in their wildest and most terrible dreams, was contemplated by the disbelieving eyes of those who thought they were the most capable. The smell of blood permeating the air was thick and heavy.
Pieces and parts of bodies, some even carrying pieces of the fabric they used as clothes, were scattered in a bizarre scene, worthy of the most chilling horror movie.
The aid group, those who were there as support and support, to save their own from the enemy attack, gulped, gripped their weapons tighter and entered, feeling that they had crossed the threshold, between hell and earth.
It was a slow advance, and at each turn, at each open door, a new scene, the same but different from the previous ones, was shown to them. Before they were just pieces, now they were whole parts thrown everywhere.
The last place to arrive was the control room.
The doors were open, or rather, they no longer existed. All the heads, of each agent that was in that place, were piled up, forming a pyramid, wide and tall. On the wall, the words that made a shiver go through her body.
"Stay away from the Parkers. Or this will be the prettiest scene you'll ever see."

POV MC, L.A.
I go into an internet café, something I haven't seen in a long time. Missing the owl times and playing with the guys. Despite this blatantly stating my age. Forget it.
Anyway.
The place was full, and the only place it could be used was next to a girl, who was so focused on her laptop, that she didn't even notice me sitting down with a coffee, both for me and for her.
"Drink it, it helps keep you alert and focused." I say, handing over the cup.
She just takes it, as if it were a natural thing to do, and takes it into her mouth, gulping down the contents with incredible voracity. It was only after swallowing that she realized her mistake and glared at me.
We stared into each other's eyes for an amount of time I had no idea. It felt like a second, but it could have been a year or two, never mind.
"And you." she finally says in an audible whisper.
"Depends, if it's a good thing, yes, it's me. If it's a bad thing, I deny it. I've never been there." I joke, making her laugh and look at me indignantly.
"I dream, I see your face almost every night. It's like somehow, you're connected to me, but in a way I don't understand." she explains, or at least tries to.
"Is that all you see?" I ask raising my eyebrows curiously.
"No. Sometimes I feel like I'm in a very old castle, and I always find him in the castle's library. But it's weird, sometimes we're holding sticks and using them to fight masked adults." she makes a strange expression, not understanding what she saw.
"Well, it's probably a mixture of what happened, and what should have happened. Sometimes, it happens to mix lived dreams between one reality and another. The multiverse is strange and complicated." I say, and she looks at me even more confused.
"I'll explain later, now I need to give you one last warning. Then will you accompany me on a trip? We can take the opportunity so that I can explain everything to you." I have no other way of approaching this.
"OK." and now i know, she's really strange, or has a lot of confidence in herself or trusts a lot in me, through her dreams. I'm leaning towards the latter.
I just spin my body. "Melinda May, I don't mean to hurt you, but I'd like you to confirm with your one-eyed boss that his boss got my message, both. If not, I'll send you a new one." I say to the beautiful Asian woman sitting at the other table.
She thinks for a moment and makes a call. After talking for a while, she hangs up, looking at me between amazement and distrust.
"My boss says he got the message, and asks if I can hold his hand next time." she still doesn't understand, but she relays the message.
"There is." I couldn't stop laughing. "Little does he know, that this was me holding my hand to the fullest." I look back at Daisy as I stand up. "I have my work done, shall we go?"
She stands up, closing her notebook and approaching me. "Where?"
"Anywhere, it doesn't matter. Soon, you'll understand."
