16. End of Peace

I still had two more days in NY, and let me tell you, I could only enjoy one of them. Because today was the day that things would really start to take their course.

My cute, smart little spy had her eye on a certain scientist with control issues, and every time she got angry, he literally turned green. Green and big.

"It makes me feel like I'm back in my youth, when my late husband would invite me to the movies." she sounded sad as she spoke of her husband, but there was some amusement in the memories of her.

"I don't see it as, 'my youth days', I can't believe that a beautiful, strong, and nice woman like you, doesn't have thousands of men trying the same as me." I provoke her, deflecting the deceased's bullet.

Between conversations, we arrived at the cinema, where we caught a film that, in my opinion, was a romantic comedy, her choice. I regret a little leaving the choice in your hands.

We grabbed popcorn, candy, some soft drinks and headed to the movie theater. I put my cell phone in airplane mode, but I had my phone with me, direct contact with ISA. She would let me know when the heavyweight duo started hitting each other.

It was almost 1 hour into the movie when a message reached my ears.

"Both are dancing, sir." ISA reports me.

I quietly lean in a little towards May. "Forgive me if I withdraw for 1 minute? I think I overdid it on the soda." To which she just makes a mock face but whispers.

"Don't delay."

Sorry, but it wasn't just an ordinary whisper. Call me crazy, but looking at her, and seeing that face with a mean look, my plans were changed at the time.

I would indeed solve the city's giants problem, but I would do it so fast it couldn't even be counted as a piss break.

And that was exactly it, as soon as I closed the cinema room door, I opened a portal directly on the street of the fight. I used Lerato's location to get closer, and appear with my beautiful and iconic armor.

That obviously got the attention of the people and the pair of ogres who were fighting. So I took just two steps forward, and without a word, I raised one of my hands, as I closed it until my arm was straight.

From the ground, concrete spikes formed, and they slithered like snakes towards the Abomination's body, which roared in pain and anguish. I had magically reinforced the concrete spikes, which made it pierce his body and caused a lot of bleeding.

It didn't stop, it looked like an infinity of spikes would rise from the ground, and cross Abomination's body, which, just over 30 seconds later, fell to the ground, without strength, and extremely injured.

"Problem solved Hulk, sorry to intrude, but innocent people were being harmed. Until next time." I wave goodbye to the emerald giant, who didn't understand what was going on, as I quickly walked back to the cinema, where the beautiful MILF was waiting for me.
