Both Juliet and Hannah came back downstairs to eat.Mary noticed that something was off with Juliet as she kept smiling, she wanted to ask her what had happened but she decided against it.Soon the three of them ate their meal and went to sit on the couch.
" Tomorrow, some people would be coming and i would like it if you guys could assist me in welcoming them" said Mary
"Who are the guests, mom" asked Hannah
" Well,my friends want to have a get together as it as been so long since we saw each other,I decided to host it to save us all from the stress".
" Okay, when will they be arriving" asked Juliet
" In the afternoon" replied Mary.
The three of them chatted for a while before they went to bed.The next day Mary was already awake before dawn, she was in the kitchen when Hannah and Juliet came down.
After having their breakfast,Juliet and Hannah helped Mary in the kitchen.By the time they were done,it was already afternoon.
Soon the guests started arriving .Juliet was in charge of welcoming them while Hannah led them to the main hall. The both of them were doing a great job welcoming the guests until a woman came.
The woman that arrived last was dressed extravagantly. She had an arrogant look on her face when she entered.Juliet saw her and greeted her but the woman ignored hershe scanned the eyes before sneering.
She walked in herself and went to the main hall. When the other ladies saw her, their expressions changed quickly, some of the ladies started fawning her while the rest sat at a side. This was because the woman was the Rochester in their group, she got married to an extremely rich man who could buy each and every one of them.
Soon the host came down, dressed in a thigh high slit blue gown she looked amazing. She didn't apply makeup on her face but still yet she looked amazing. The rich woman's face darkened as she got jealous of Mary's natural beauty.
She had always been jealous of Mary because wherever the both of them went Mary was always the center of attention although people raised her it was all due to the fact that she was rich but their attention towards Mary was always genuine.
