A new beginning

The dim light Gabi was in turned dark and he was trapped in a black room with only his thoughts to keep him company.

( Why did they not believe me? Was I the problem all along? Do I deserve this treatment? Why they left me all alone?)

Tears slowly started to form in his eyes, He tried to hold them in but failed. The pain he felt was far greater than any fight he had previously been in. " Why they didn't try to hear my side of the story?"

As the tears roll down his cheek the double doors open up bringing in the white light to shine into the dark room where Gabi was held. Gabimaru slowly blinked his eyes to adjust to the light beaming into his face and a figure coming into the room was someone who raised his spirits.

( Mother..)

A small smile tugged on his lips when he saw his mother coming to him, " Ms. Bushida…." He stops himself as he sees the woman fall onto her knees crying her eyes out.

" I failed you Gabimaru… I should have helped you since the beginning this all started." She exclaims.

( Failed me? how?)

" What are you saying? you didn't fail me. I don't quite understand what's going on they told me I murdered my classmate but I didn't, " He replied.

Ms.Bushida shook her head repeatedly, "It's okay Gabimaru I told the higher-ups about your mother. I should have informed them then. It was me being stubborn that led up to this. I should have stopped you then Gabimaru.." More tears were shed as she spoke out her deepest feelings about the situation.

( Stop me?)

Gabimaru couldn't contain his threatening tears anymore and more began to fall when he listened to his mother's feelings, " Mom, what do you mean you should have stopped me? I didn't kill Yu I promise Mother and…and that time with Mrs.Gojo it was a mistake nothing more. What are you saying?"

Ms.Bushida wiped her tears, "I'm not your mother Gabimaru, you killed your biological mother and it's time to face this. It's better to stay here. I know you might not have killed him on purpose but it's okay to accept your faults."

What Ms.Bushdia said to Gabi hurt him more than the times he was beaten to death. His heart ached to the point that nothing would make the pain go away. He viewed Ms. Bushida as his mother, a mother he never had before, and right before his eyes she even turned her back on him without hearing him out. Right before she stepped in the room she already had her mind made up thinking Gabimaru was a monster, she made up her mind that the boy she raised and loved needed to be executed to make sure no one would suffer anymore.

Gabi turned his head away unable to look her in the eyes, he didn't want to face her anymore. Gabimaru felt betrayed and wished he could snap at her but he couldn't, it would have been pointless. " You could leave." His feelings towards her changed at that second as he grew cold. His tone wasn't the one she was well aware of.

Ms.Bushida didn't say anything at first, she focused her sights on his side profile then she got up from the floor, "I'm sorry." She mutters and leaves the room, as she leaves another person whom Gabi loves walks right back in.

"the elders moved up your execution to later tonight, since I'm doing it I'm giving you a right to choose how you want to die Gabimaru, " His ex-lover Makima spoke firmly towards him and he still kept his head facing the side to not look at anyone who walks in the room.

"I rather get cremated because I don't have anyone to carry my casket. I want zero trace of my existence on this earth" he cruelly responded.

"Okay," That was all she said as she left the boy alone again.

Gabi bitterly chuckled to himself. " I haven't had a trial or anything and they have already chosen their verdict for me."

Gabi tried to yank the chains off the wall but it was futile, in this room it's a barrier to stop anyone from using curse energy. " I thought curse spirits were cruel but humans are the worst type of creatures on this earth." he harshly spoke to himself.

"Then why don't we all wipe them away?" A voice appeared in his head.

Gabi was startled when he heard the voice he missed hearing, " Higanbana? How are you talking to me?" 

"You always ask the wrong questions, Gabi. The right question you should be asking me is how will you overcome this situation."

The boy sulks at hearing her question because right now he doesn't even have the will to keep moving forward." I'm tired of moving forward. Why should I even try no matter what they will find any excuse to get rid of me and for what? I didn't do anything wrong and ever since I was born I was a target. I had enough Higanbana I will always be alone." he vented out his feelings.

"You're not alone, I'm always with you Gabi," She interjected.

" That's funny because I haven't heard from you and the others in a while. You all forgot about me," he mentioned.

" Not true Gabi. We gave you space but we will never forget you. Just accept me fully and you will never feel this way again. Get back your powers and escape this place, once that happens you can finally feel free without any burdens holding you back." She spoke and as she kept talking it was bringing back Gabi's spirits up little by little.

"Remember what I told you when we first met Gabimaru? Those people who claim to be on your side were never really on it. You can't keep putting all your trust in humans. Break away from their bonds and be free from them. They were never on your side Gabimaru, once you explain your powers do you still think they will be kind to you? Why should you hide away your powers while everyone else can use theirs freely? Don't you get the bigger picture, you were never with them only their lackey to do their work. Embrace your dark side Gabiamaru and never feel ashamed of it," Higanbana kept spilling out facts to make sure it got in Gabi's head and it did. Gabi sat there listening to Higanbana and slowly started to accept his reality.

( Why should I let myself be treated this way? I'm tired of everyone, of everything. )

"I feel like I'm going insane, Higanbana."

"Then go insane Gabi…. Let it all out my sweet Gabi… show me how you feel. Destroy what destroys you."

Gabi was on his knees as the chains held his arms behind him, he started to grip the chains tightly as his blue eyes hardened while he gritted his teeth, " Humanity itself." He replies to the woman.

" Then let's destroy it together. "

After she said that the double doors busted open revealing an exhausted Kenji, " Gabi, I finally made it!" He rushed behind the boy and unlocked the chains that kept the boy bound "You need to run far away and don't come back. From now on you will be a rogue sorcerer on everyone's hit list. You need to hurry. " Kenji spoke fast making sure he got everything out of his system.

As the chains got off Gabi's wrist he furrowed his eyebrows wondering why Kenji was helping him, " What will you gain from this Kenji?" He questioned the man's motives.

Kenji was trying to catch his breath quickly as he was pushing Gabi out of the room "Nothing. I believe in you kid. I have a feeling my wife did something and she confirmed it when I talked to her. I'm sorry that Aiko didn't believe you but you have to go and get the sword that has half your powers sealed and it's in my basement after that leave and never turn your head back." He gave Gabi a hard push "GO!" he yelled and Gabi started running. As he was running sorcerers came up but Kenji stopped them from going near the boy. Gabi ran for the hills heading up to the Saito residents and as he was running more sorcerers were coming at him.

( I have to get them off my back. Erebus comes out.)

A dark 8'1 figure with darkness wings that have blue highlights beaming out his body came out of his shadow.

" Kill them all." Gabi gave him orders as he leaped from building to building.

Erebus smirked and went into the concrete ground and traveled into one of the sorcerer's shadows.

" GET THE BOY BEFORE HE ESCAPE!" one of the sorcerers shouted but soon enough his body twisted up into a pretzel shape breaking every bone in their body and causing blood to bust out his body.

" WHAT THE FUCK?! WHAT HAPPENED?! GET THE BOY! HE CAUSED THIS!" The others shout and Erebus finishes them all off one by one.

(Good boy.)

Gabi grinned at his curse work and continued running to his location. " I see how you already adapting to your new lifestyle. " Higanbana spoke to him.

" Are you complaining?" He hoisted up a brow.

" Not at all Gabi."

"All alright then."

Gabi jumped high off the tall building and landed on his chimera back, " Go fast,"

The mixed-race giant beast ran through the streets of Japan not caring about human casualties by its firm body.

(Oops)

Soon enough they made it to the resident and he was welcomed with the helps of the Satio residents. " Get him!" the leader of the help shouted and the others followed their instructions. All of them came at them, Gabi squatted down and moved side to side to stretch his legs and after that crack his back, "Tsk" he sucked his teeth at the filth that was coming at him.

He clapped his hands together and twisted his thumbs together, "Rakuen no niwa" { paradise garden}

Vines that had Higanbana flowers attached to them burst out of the ground and grabbed every last one of the helps, "Die.." soon after the thorns bosom out stabbing the helps in their body to make sure the poison flowed in their system, as they were screaming for help, pleading the boy to stop his madness Gabi just ignore them and went inside the mansion going to the basement where the sword was located that held half of his powers.

( When I take this I will be whole again.)

Gabi saw the black sword on display right in front of him, " I can feel my curse energy from here. It feels comforting. "

Gabi places his hands on the sword and absorbs every single last drop of curse energy that was placed in the sword. Intense power was flowing in his body causing him to jerk away from the sword but his will overcame the intensity and gripped tightly making sure it wouldn't leave his hands as he was finished Gabi felt brand new, he felt complete and the only emotion he was feeling was craving, this wasn't enough for him, Gabi wanted more power to fill his appetite.

"He's coming, " Gabi snapped his neck towards the exit leaving the house and once he was outside again he saw his father.

"Gabimaru it's time to put yourself up. You murdered your own mother cold-blooded killer and had the nerve to walk around here as if nothing happened." Mr.Gojo was livid at this point.

Gabi showed no signs that he cared what his father said, "So?"

Mr.Gojo was taken aback by his reply, " So? So?! That's all you have to say? WHAT ABOUT MY WIFE, YOUR MOTHER?!" 

Gabi shrugged his shoulders, " It makes no sense to cry over something that's dead already but since you miss your wife so much" Gabimaru took steps closer to his father but his father was slowly backing away from him "I will send you there where she's at. For all eternity you both will see my face, a face that you both despise, a face you will want to tear apart, a son you wish you never brought into this forsaken world, and a person who will rule over your useless life" as Gabi reach in front of his father face, Mr.Gojo legs started to tremble and soon he lost his balance and fell backward looking up to his son.

" I should let Gojo kill your curse spirit, poor Gojo will have to kill his own parents now how beautiful does that sound? I think that's a perfect ending, then afterward I will murder him to end the Gojo line." Gabi's eyes went dark, the blue orbs were no longer there it was taken over by his red clock quartz eyes.

" So…son don't," His father mumbled, he was unable to speak louder.

" Son?!" Gabi started to laugh as he saw his father's lifespan, " It says you will live up to 85, it's too bad that I will cut it short. "

" Gabi…. NO!" His father was trying to crawl away but Gabi grabbed his white hair and used his full strength to rip his father's head off his body, " It's okay father, we will be together until I die," he whispered and afterward his father's spirit was within him.

" I was not going to waste any more time with him," He threw his father's head on the ground and started walking away from the mansion, "It's time to find Geto."

Kenji pov

Kenji was stopped at the school by his daughter. Since Gabi officially escaped, Kenji will replace his execution by helping him out. Kenji was standing up as his arms were chained up, all the higher-ups, and the rest of the three top jujutsu clans were there to witness a traitor getting punished.

" Any last words you trenches scum," Makima sneered at her father.

"Not really, I'm just really glad I got to see my daughter smile in my life. I am proud to see how my daughter fell in love and after my death I just want you to be happy. I know I wasn't really in your life due to you and your mother shutting me out but I should have fought harder to be your father. I love you Makima and I will always love my daughter" Although Kenji was about to be killed he did not hold any resentment towards his daughter he knew it was all his wife's fault and he should have stood his ground towards his wife but it was too late. He looked at his wife and remembered their last conversation they had " I never once loved you Chiyo, I wish I fought harder to get out of this arranged marriage. My love will always be with Aiko" After that Kenji closes his eyes awaiting his death sentence. Chiyo Saito smirked washed wiped away as Kenji said his last words.

( Gabimaru I don't know what you will do after this but just be happy kid. I owe you a lot for helping my daughter to change and she did. She even called me father and I was more than happy to hear her say that. The world might be against you but I'm not. Be safe kid.)

Makima used her brute force and punched her fist into her father's chest and as her hand gripped his heart, Kenji opened his eyes to see his daughter one last time.

( I love you Makima and I don't blame you for this. It's all your mother doing.)

She yank his heart out of his chest and his lifeless body fell on the ground. Everyone in the room applauded beside Gojo and Makima. Even if Kenji betrayed them he didn't deserve to die.

Flashback

Kenji stormed into his wife's office " I know you did something. Why out of the blue Gabi kill his classmate? That's bullshit Chiyo and you know that."

Chiyo had a huge grin on her face. " I did nothing wrong, I was just there to see our daughter's boyfriend and here I saw a white hair boy stabbing someone in the neck." She innocently said.

Kenji slammed his hands on her desk and glared at her, " Just because your life is miserable doesn't mean you have to put it on Makima. She was finally happy and you just had to ruin it! What type of mother would do that to their daughter?"

Chiyo leaned back on her office chair, "I'm a mother who would make sure that their child is ready for the real world. There isn't any time for love, she needs to focus on her training so we can replace the Gojo clan."

Kenji shook his head at his wife, "I hope Makima would wake up to see how evil you are. My daughter deserves to be happy but you had to butt in and ruined an innocent kid's life. Gabi already had his problems and you added more."

Chiyo faced her husband and didn't care about anything he just said, " This conversation is boring me. We have to watch his execution that's happening tonight," She got up from her chair and grabbed her blazer, " Don't miss it, Kenji, dear. " She blew a kiss at him and left him in her office.

" I'm so sorry, Gabimaru."

Flashback ends

" Sorry kid."

Makima pov

When Makima killed her father she stormed out of the room, she couldn't be in there any longer. As she was increasing her walking speed to get far away from the scene she started to feel ill again and threw up where she was.

( Gosh, why do I keep getting sick out of the blue?!)

Her vision started to get blurry and she soon lost her balance. When she was ready to meet the ground someone grabbed her just in time

"Are you okay Makima?" Gojo asked as he carried her bridal style.

Makima tried to wiggle out of his grip but he held her tight, " Stop, you only going to make yourself feel worse."

The red-haired girl placed her hands over her eyes to cover the sunlight beaming into her eyes " I have been sick lately and I don't know why. Sometimes I just throw up out of nowhere and I feel fatigued."

" How long have you been feeling this way?" He questioned the girl on her sickness.

Makima shrugged her shoulders, " I don't know, about 3 to 4 weeks."

" Have you had sex?" A voice appeared behind Gojo and Makima.

Makima covers her face not wanting to face the person, " Why would you ask that, Shoko?" she mumbles.

Shoko came close to the two, " Because it sounds like pregnancy symptoms."

Gojo was stunned as he looked down at Makima and the red-haired girl's heart clenched upon hearing that word.

( I'm pregnant? That's… that's not right.)

" That's foolish. " Makima wiggled out of Gojo's grip and stood on the ground, " I can't be." Makiam attempted to walk away.

" I mean true if you never had sex but if you did it's a possibility, " Gojo spoke up.

Makima snapped her neck at him, " Shut up. I only did it twice."

Shoko raised her eyebrow at her, " With Gabi both times?" 

Makima glared at her, " Never say that name around me and I'm not a slut. Drop this stupid conversation I'm leaving."

" The ice-cold Makima is back again," Shoko spoke lowly to Gojo.

" Yes, she is." 

" I was shocked when I found out she and Gabimaru were dating but at the same time I wasn't shocked because his eyes only sparkled wherever Makima was in his view sight, his eyes never did that for me." Shoko outed her opinion.

Gojo patted her back, " You will find better, Shoko."

Shoko walked away from Gojo, " I don't think so." She whispered to herself as she wiped away her tears.
