To claim the reward for a bounty, it was necessary to possess a body part of the target. As Shunro had killed all of his victims, he took Aki's head and prepared to depart. However, he found himself surrounded by approximately ten individuals.

A rule was in place stating that if the killer of the bounty target was killed within an hour, the one who accomplished the latter would receive the prize. Consequently, people began pursuing Shunro.

Amidst the encirclement, a lone man rushed at Shunro. With a slight turn of his body, Shunro tapped the man's back lightly.

In an instant, everyone charged at him. However, Shunro swiftly swiped his hand and vanished into a black mark, leaving them bewildered as they searched for him. Suddenly, Shunro reappeared behind the man and grasped his throat, swiftly stabbing him.

The man screamed, drawing everyone's attention. They witnessed a bloodied man lying on the ground with a bleeding throat, yet they had not yet noticed Shunro.

While they were distracted, three more lifeless bodies fell nearby. Their heads turned around, only to find a young child responsible for the outcome. "Well, six left. Shouldn't be too difficult," Shunro remarked, gazing at the remaining six victims.

Shunro swiftly killed them one by one, marking them effortlessly. They lacked a Cursed Technique and had mediocre control over their Cursed energy—they were merely average sorcerers.

As two of the ten individuals remained, and Shunro intended to kill them, but suddenly, another group arrived. With his Cursed Energy depleted, he materialized a mark and swiftly disappeared, not taking any chances.

"Intriguing," a man spoke in a dimly-lit office. He had long blond hair cascading down to his waist, accompanied by a well-defined physique.

"Shall we take action, sir?" another individual in black ninja-like attire and a mask stood before the man.

"No need," the man replied, looking at a document he held in his hand. "You may leave now."

The concealed individual nodded and vanished from his position.

Deep within the forest, concealed underground, lay a particular cave. The walls appeared old, as if they had witnessed thousands of years pass. Inside, there was a worn-out bed, a wooden table adorned with cash and water, and a gauntlet stained with blood.

Sounds of water echoed within. Shunro quickly obtained some water and cleansed himself, his body tainted with bloodstains.

After donning his fresh attire, Shunro checked his phone and noticed new messages in the group. "Huh?" he muttered in confusion. His bounty had unexpectedly increased from 1,230 euros to 3,000 euros. The reason behind this sudden change remained not-known.

However, Shunro quickly disregarded it, paying no further attention.

As he prepared to get some rest, an intense pain surged through his eyes. "ARGHH!" he gritted his teeth, his hands instinctively reaching for his eyes. "Again?!" His expression transformed into one of rage and anger as images flooded his mind, depicting relentless torture. Deep within his subconscious, an image appeated, showing his eyes had been taken and replaced.

After a few moments, the pain gradually subsided.

A day passed, and Shunro found it difficult to sleep due to lingering eye pain.

Seated in a meditative pose, Shunro focused his mind, attempting to control the persistent ache. His thoughts were chaotic, and his emotions spiraled out of control, as if he had become an entirely different person. However, as he concentrated harder and gained control over his Cursed Energy, his emotions stabilized, and his mind ceased craving revenge.

Unbeknownst to Shunro, this development granted him a new ability that he named "Ensnaring Bond." This innate ability allowed him to restrain someone by placing multiple marks on them, tightening the bonds and rendering them immobile.

Although it would have been advantageous if he could use this extension technique on himself, Shunro discovered he could not place marks on his own body. This ability would have been useful in forcefully marking and capturing someone within a mark.
