Thoughts on Uraume?
I know the responses because it will be you guys who answer them, but whatever. Might as well since I'm curious.
__________
Naohiro
Sukuna's fingers!
My eyes widen before I bring my hands together. "[Domain Expansion: Cycle of Saṃsāra]."
I'm not interested in your sales pitch. I'll kill you and take the fingers.
Since my domain isn't lethal or damaging, the surrounding people won't be hurt, but the instant removal of cursed energy will make them unconscious. I also caught Uraume in it since they hadn't left my range.
Ever since I knew I was going to fight refined domains, I wanted to remove that aspect from the equation. So, what better way to do that than to take inspiration from the two people who pulled off something crazy?
A 0.2-second domain expansion.
...
That is what I would say if couldn't do it faster.
Pulling off a 0.2 or lower would be extremely difficult, but manipulating my domain's properties is much easier because of my non-lethal sure-hit and my control and potential have shot through the roof.
(A/N - "Sorry, Megumi, he'll use his potential.")
The opening and closing of a barrier in a fraction of a second allows for the sure hit to activate. While not useful in a prolonged fight, removing cursed energy throws your entire body into wack.
I'm positive that my refinement isn't as good as Kenjaku's, but if I can get my domain off earlier than him, I'll be good.
My technique is Kenjaku's natural counter.
His technique allows him to swap bodies and control them, so what would happen if he lost cursed energy for even a fraction of a second?
Answer: He'll be helpless until he can regain control of his cursed energy.
Not even mentioning that getting your cursed energy back and manipulating it quickly is nearly impossible for anyone without special traits like the Six-Eyes or people built like Sukuna.
As my domain opens and closes nearly instantly, Geto's body starts falling forward, as if the strings controlling it got cut.
However, he is still smiling, and I hear him speak. "Gate open."
I know that incantation. Kenjaku wouldn't give me Sukuna's fingers after everything I've done.
He's trying to seal me!
I can't help but smile when I think of it. My adaptation isn't a part of my cursed technique, which means that if I can get sealed, I'll become immune to any form of sealing.
The prison realm is the peak of sealing in this world, and I no longer have to look for it! Thanks, Kenjaku!
Like I've heard before, my existence is a complete unknown; even if I'm in this world, I don't follow its rules.
While they are playing the little game of 'Getting rid of a sixteen-year-old teenager,' I'll go down swinging. Let's see how good my acting is.
After running through my little inner monologue, I reach behind me and unravel the covered-up soul splitter before swinging it at Kenjaku and imbuing a technique into it, making it shine from cursed energy. "[Cursed Technique Amplification: Maximum Soul Scythe]."
Let's see how my first offensive maximum technique works.
I sense a noticeable dip in my cursed energy.
Suddenly, I detect something aimed straight at my head, moving at a ridiculous speed.
Putting my left hand to the side of me, I catch a red beam that cuts my hand a little before it ricochets onto the top of my right.
Even with my burnt-out technique, it still wouldn't do much to my reinforced body, but that wasn't the issue.
Piercing blood.
It changed the direction of my swing towards his body instead of his head.
Without stopping, I continue swinging the soul splitter.
*Slice*
*BOOM*
My blade cuts straight through Geto's upper body with no resistance and creates a massive slash behind him that goes through the building walls, making an explosion in the process.
Damn, I didn't expect it to do that much after its first use. I even made sure to aim it so it wouldn't do a ton of damage to the surroundings.
However, there was one problem.
The soul slash sliced Geto's soul instead of Kenjaku's since the body and soul are one.
Meaning.
*WOOSH*
Geto's body explodes with a hundred curses flying out.
I'll need to take care of this before it can get out of hand, but I can't launch a domain now. If I get my domain off, I can kill the curses and keep Kenjaku occupied at the same time.
I still haven't figured out the whole burnout-timer thing quite yet, so this will hurt.
*pop*
Part of my brain gets destroyed before immediately using reverse cursed technique to heal it back.
My nose starts to bleed, but I hear something amazing.
...
'clink'
...
HAHAHA! No more burnout timer.
While I was excited, I heard Kenjaku speak at the same time as I did. "[Domain Expansion: Womb Profusion]." "[Domain Expansion: Cycle of Saṃsāra]."
Our domains clash.
A problem with the adaptation is that while I can ignore the effects of his sure hit, my domain is part of my cursed technique. If I don't overpower it, the effects won't occur.
So, why waste time to clash with him?
Dropping my domain, I rush to him.
I wouldn't have done this in the past because of the burnout timer, but that is no longer a problem. Now, my brain isn't overheated or bleeding.
Slashing every cursed spirit I see, I stall until I see a giant eye in the middle of four meat-like edges protruding out.
I give a 'nervous' smile. "Well, hello there."
...
Immediately after, the cubes latch on to me before holding me down on the ground.
'clink'
Uraume comes out of nowhere and stands before me, looking down at me with narrowed eyes. "Be a good little worm and go to sleep."
'clink'
All I do is laugh in Uraume's face. "You want to know something, Uraume? Sukuna tasted like shit, and he's nothing but a clown that needs his daddy to come to save him after he gets in trouble."
Uraume looked shocked, and I could see that they were still processing what I just said, so I did the honors.
I smirked. "See you soon. Gate close."
As everything went dark, I heard a loud scream of rage.
...
When I open my eyes, I see many skeletons surrounding me. "It's a lot more cozy than it looks in the series. Sadly, I won't get to stay with my skeleton friends for very long."
'clink'
I put my finger on my chin and ponder.
Given how complex the prison realm is, I think it might take around 10 or more stages of adaptation to get out of here.
'clink'
Time is weird in the prison realm, so I could use it as a hyperbolic time chamber.
Did Kenjaku give me a training room? Probably not, but I'll still figure out the specifics since I'm unsure how everything works here.
I could play along and give myself an insane amount of training time since it won't be able to suppress me after I adapt.
I'll be able to stay inside here as little or as much as I want.
What to do? What to do?
Third Person: P.O.V.
After Naohiro gets 'sealed,' someone or half of someone speaks up. "*Sigh* The most complicated variable is finally out of the way."
Uraume is not happy. "That...that...that...that. RAHHHHHH."
Kenjaku only plugged his ears as the entire area was in chaos.
