"What happened, You look injured"

"Ah I got hurt in my previous raid" he replied.

"Didn't you get healed by the healer?" I asked knowing that raid team usually takes at least one healer to raid the dungeon since you never know what might happen inside the dungeon.

"Ah no!! they were all high levelled hunters raiding a low level dungeon so they thought they didn't need one at all" he replied 'I'm the only one who gets injured even in E-ranked dungeon ahh'

"True!! healers are pretty rare too " I sighed "Anyway How's Sung Jihan and also your mother?" I asked. 'He is a good brother risking his life to take care of his sister and even pay his mum's hospital bill' 

"Well she's studying well and you know my mum's condition there's no telling if she'll even wake up from the coma " he said as he started looking sad.

'Eternal Slumber' 'that's the disease his mother is suffering from' . As mana started to fill the world after the emergence of gates, there are those who awakened superpowers and became hunters.

Similarly, there are also those whose body cannot adapt well to the exposure of mana and they go in coma which we call 'Eternal Slumber' as no one has woken up from it till date.

'I did offer to take care of his mum's bill but he just says no to me , ahhh his character though I like how he says he doesn't wanna take advantage of me' 

'Maybe that's also the reason we're so close cause a lot of people so called relatives emerged after my parents death but all of them were after the money, tchh talk about morals'

All these thoughts happened in a second. "Don't worry! I'm sure people will come up with the cure soon enough" I tried consoling him.

"I hope so!" he said faking a smile.

"At that time you can't reject my help okay !! "

"No It-- , Okay" he said seeing me getting angry.

"Jin Woo You're hurt again !!!!" a lady with orange hair and blue eyes came shouting.

***POV*** (Ju Hee - Healer)

My name is Ju Hee and I'm a B ranked hunter. As I reach the construction site where today's raid is I see two boys talking. One of them is a boy looking 24-25 years old with black hair blue jacket and a green bag. I know him, his name is Sung Jin Woo and he's an aquaintance of mine.

With him is a boy of similar age with black hair and light blue eyes and reallly beautiful face. 'I didn't know he had other friends and so pretty at that'

"Jin Woo You're hurt again!!!" I see that Jin Woo is slightly injured probably from another dungeon raid again oof!!.

"Oh Miss Ju Hee"

"HelloMiss Ju Hee"

Everyone greets me while I make my way towards him. "What happened this time?" I ask him.

.

"So you went with a team to a D-ranked dungeon and since they were pretty high levelled they didn't take healer with them and you were the only one injured and you went to hospital" I say after listening to his story.

"Yes yes that's it " he said smiling.

"Okay Let me heal you" she said as she forwarded her arms towards me and her hands and my body started glowing green and the injuries started getting better. 

"Hey won't you introduce me" said the boy with light blue eyes to him.

"Oh! This is Gojo Satoru , my childhood friend and she is Ju Hee a close friend of mine" 

"Hi!" I say to him

"Hello!" he replies.

'Guess he's not that much of a social person huh' He doesn't talk much and it's only me and Jin Woo who's talking.

"Everyone Gather around . We're going on an easy hunt and I'd like to be the party leader Is that alright with everyone" a middle-aged person says standing in front of everyone.

"You're the highest ranked here, we've got no problems "

"Yeah we trust you Mr Song Chi Yul"

 Everyone supports him and replies warmly.

"Take care of us Mr Song Chi Yul" said Jin Woo besides me.

"Yeah let's go" I said taking a deep breathe.

***POV***(Gojo Satoru - Eyes - MC)

"Take care of us Mr Song Chi Yul" says Jin Woo.

"Yeah let's go" says Ju Hee.

'So she's a B-ranked healer huh I guess that makes it good for Jin Woo since he gets hurt real easily.

I see a big blue circle portal that is supposed to be the entrance to the dungeon. They do say size doesn't determine the rank of gates but the concentration of the mana present. But still compared to other gates I've been to this one has different vibe to the mana in the air.

I can see the mana quantity is also slightly greater than other D-ranked dungeon I've been to and I kind of have some bad feeling about this. 'Let's hope everything goes smoothly'

I see everyone entering the portal and disappearing.

'Let's get this over with' I too enter the portal and disappear from this place and appear inside a dungeon.

***POV*** (Everyone)

Inside a dungeon is like a different world. Some dungeon are like deserts, some are like grass and mountains , some are just caves and some can be cold with ice and all. The information about gates are pre-recorded by Hunter's Guild and provided to the public in their forum as well.

After a while we encountered monsters looking like some kind of lizard. We fight them , some uses sword to cut them down, some used hammers to smash them, some supports the fighters with shields and some uses fire spell to burn them down.

The monsters were taken down easily after a while and a glowing crystals lie in place of their dead bodies. The crystals are called monster cores and they are pretty expensive in the outside world. Hunters main source of income is selling these cores.

***POV*** (Gojo Satoru - Eyes - MC)

'They are pretty weak. I can easily fight them as I can see their movements and trajectory pretty easily with my eyes but why do I still feel uneasy oof!!' I kill the last of the monster with a kick from my right leg right in its neck.

I see that everyone's finished with their fight and gathering the mana stone. Luckily my target also dropped one and I pick up the glowing stone.

I look around searching for someone 'where's Jin Woo ... Ah! there he is getting healed from the pretty healer' 'Injured as always too oof!!'

"Everyone there's another entrance here!!" shouts a member of the party.

'Oh this is what they called "Double Lair" , a dungeon inside a dungeon' 

"So Let's vote whether to go for the double lair or not since it might be dangerous" the party leader asks. 

'Usually the party informs the Hunter's Guild in this case but I guess he wants to get the profit huh! I wouldn't want to risk since I've got a bad feeling about this'

"No I'm out!!" I vote 

"I'm in" 

"Let's do it"

"No for me"

"So we have 8 Yes and 8 No, now you're the only one remaining Sung Jin Woo , what do you say?" asked the party leader.

'Of course he'll say no' I thought but then "Yes" he said.

"Hey what was with that you know you might get killed right" I asked him.

"Yeah why did you agree? " asked Ju Hee too.

"I'm sorry!" he said and he looked like he didn't have other choice.

'I know where he's coming from' "Well what's done is done let's go now then" I said thinking that I must protect him.

 The leader sent a fireball to find the depth of the cave entrance but it reached really far and still didn't encounter any obstacle. I guess we'll be walking for a while.

After we walked for a while we reached a gigantic door which looked strange. I've never heard of a dungeon whose entrance is a door.

"Woah it's huge!"

"I've never seen anything like this"

"It's look dangerous should we go in?"

"Hey we've come this far how can we not go now"

"Are you going to return empty-handed after coming this far? I'm going " said Mr Song the leader opening the huge door.

"Yeah let's go beside I trust Mr Song"

"Yeah me too"

After everyone walked in I too walked through the door. As soon as I stepped inside the door I was overwhelmed by the huge amount of mana particles that covered this place. I've never been to a higher level gates but I'm sure the mana amount here is at least that of an S-ranked gate. 

'This is comparable to an S-ranked dungeon we have to get out of here or we won't survive' 

"Everyone We must get out of this dungeon or we're all gonna die" I shouted 

"What are you saying Gojo?" asked Jin Woo.

"Yeah! what's the problem?" asked Mr Song as well. 

"The amount of mana here is too large I think this may be an S-ranked dungeon" I said calming myself.

"You might be mistaken Gojo , how can S-ranked dungeon be inside a D-ranked one" he said

"Yeah Calm down Gojo, you might be mistaken" said others too.

Seeing everyone saying similar I thought this might be because I'm not feeling well I thought.

"Yeah sorry about that!!" I apologized.

"It's okay"

"It happens"

Everyone tried cheering me up.

"Hey! It's okay " said Jin Woo putting his arms around me.

"Thanks man!" I said

Now that I look around the room. It's gigantic and looks like a king's room. There's different statues of huge sized around the room holding different instruments and weapons and in front there's a huge throne where a Huge Figure is sitting. 'That figure gives me a bad feeling'

There's also a magic seal in the center but where are the monsters though.

"Everyone come here there seems to be something written here" there was a statue different from others covered in hood with wings and holding a tabloid with text written in there.

"Carthenon Temple's Commandments"

"First, Worship The Lord"

"Second, Praise The Lord"

"Third, Prove Your Faith"

'I guess that confirms it's some kind of temple' Suddenly my whole body shivers. Others may not have seen it but with my vision I saw it. The huge figure at the throne moved its eyeballs.

It was looking straight at me and I was completely overwhelmed. 

"Hey I'm going this is nonsense" says a person and walks towards the door.

'Stop! Don't go' I wanted to shout but I can't even move my lips with the pressure that I'm getting right now.

As soon as he reached near the door, the statue who seemed to hold something like a spear move so fast that even I couldn't see it move at all. Then as I looked at the person I froze and so did everyone there as upper half of that person was completely missing. He was cut by the statue in half.

Baam!!

The door of the room closed locking everyone inside.

'This is my last day' was all I could think at this moment.
