Chapter 96 - Final Battle

UNIVERSE 621

Back in San Francisco, Rachel was only more determined to kill the Beyonder, and she still retained the power he had given her. She revealed her plan to Kitty and Rogue.

"You can do that, destroy everything?" Rogue asked, she had also come there.

"With a little help from my friends. There's nothing to lose, Kitty and Rogue. From his actions, he's planning to destroy us anyway, isn't that what you believe? At least we can ensure that whomever comes after us won't have his madness to threaten them."

"But I can't do it completely on my own, I need your strength, your life force, your spirits.. To sustain me. My mother, the original Phoenix, sacrificed her life force for the Universe. Can we do any less?" Rachel revealed her plan.

"Kitty, wait?" Rogue said.

"For what, this may be our only choice, to do it to him, before he does it to us," Kitty said and then she merged into Rachel.

"She's a part of me now. Will you join her, Rogue," Rachel asked looking at the Rogue, Rogue nodded and she also became the part of Phoenix.

The other X-Men, some willingly, some possibly under her psychic influence, and some unwillingly, joined their life forces to hers.

She absorbed Wolverine and Magneto, but when she went to Storm, Storm argued with her, "This is wrong, Rachel you must stop, while you are still able!"

"I hoped you'd understand, Ororo. I can't let the Beyonder go on. If you won't give freely of your soul force, Ororo…" Rachel said as she also absorbed the Ororo inside her.

"I simply take what I need," Rachel shouted, as she expanded her power across the universe, binding with all that she was going to destroy. Nothing is beyond her, no earthly power can oppose her, she has become all she ever dreamed of… And far, far more.

A blink of an eye… And Phoenix is out of the Milky Way Galaxy, Rachel had a new idea, go to the M'Kraan Crystal, from which the Phoenix derived its power, and destroy it.

This would destroy the universe as well, although a new universe would take its place. She hoped that with the current universe destroyed, the Beyonder would lose interest in it, and would at least not destroy the future universe.

Whereas if he continued on his present course, he would probably destroy not only the current universe but any future ones as well. It was a desperate gamble, to say the least. They all traveled to the Crystal.

"Within this energy shere is a Neutron galaxy, the ultimate black hole. Once it's unleashed, it will draw our entire universe down its gravity well, warping space and time as it casts all that matter and energy out into another dimension, creating the cosmos anew. We'll perish, but so, hopefully, will the Beyonder," Rachel revealed her plan to X-Men and all other people in their spirit form.

"No! Rachel, you cannot, you must not do this!" Storm argued with her in spirit form.

"You helped my mom, Storm, you gave yourself freely, why not now?" Rachel asked.

"We fought to heal, to save! For such a cause I would and shall, gladly give my life… And your mother eventually did," Storm answered her.

"Don't you understand? That's what I'm trying to accomplish! To give life another chance. To let everything start over… Without the omnipresent, the threat of the Beyonder tainting every moment. He means to destroy us anyway. At least, this way, our death will have meaning and purpose," Rachel revealed her suggestions.

"Suppose you are wrong, child? Have you considered the awful cost?" Storm again asked her and tried to stop her.

"I have no choice, I won't be stopped, Ororo, by you, or anyone!" Rachel said as she was going to destroy it.

"You always have a choice!" Ororo said. Rachel was just going to be destroyed, but after talking with Ororo, she realized that each individual life had infinite worth, and that she had no right to take that away. She returned them all to Earth.

"Everything depended on me, Ororo. But I failed, I failed," She started crying.

"Because you could not kill? Because you could not slaughter countless innocents?" Ororo consoled her.

"Now the Beyonder will. He'll destroy everything," Rachel said.

"And that infinite cost will be upon his conscience," Ororo said.

"What happened to us, Ororo? How 'd we all get back here?" Wolverine asked.

"Instead of shattering the sphere, Rachael cast herself out, restored the "borrowed" life-essences to their rightful bodies, and sent us safely home," Ororo explained.

"So we've lost?" Magneto agreed with her final choice, as he had earlier counseled mercy against the student who had tried to kill Xavier.

Then the Beyonder appeared. He said that he had offered them a chance to go out with a bang, implying that the M'Kraan gambit had not really been Rachel's idea, but his, but they had flubbed it.

"As your villains sometimes say: if you want a job done right you have to do it yourself. Well here I am. This is the end of your road, X-Men. I hope you plan to go down swinging, not that you have a prayer of winning but I really enjoy a good scrap. If not I'll terminate you where you stand," Beyonder said, now, they had to fight, or die; they all meant less to him than an amoeba, other than perhaps Rachel, who he called a "starsoul."

They argued, and Rachel returned the power he had given her. And he had absorbed it effortlessly. The X-Men tried to fight him back, but just like the New Mutants, he erased them.

He also gained more power, which Phoenix has. All that Phoenix experienced-the totality of life, in all its forms, in all its infinite glory-is now his.

In other words, the Beyonder learned the lesson that Phoenix learned about the infinite value of every individual life. Instead of seeing them all as amoebas, he was forced to see that they each contained an infinity of their own, which were perhaps equal to his own, other kind of infinity. But still he didn't hesitate from killing the X-Men. And instead of calming him, it makes him even more angry.

"I curse the moment I first stepped foot in this Multiverse! Erasing it from existence may not be enough, just the mere memory of it may prevent me from ever feeling complete again," Beyonder shouted as he flew in space and looked toward the Universe.

"its substance, its space, its denizens, its overlords, its conceptual beings, even death itself, will be erased. Everything must go. Even his own memory of it all," Beyonder was just going to destroy the Universe, but first he thought of trying to rebirth into human forms, for how to feel like as human, since he has already made a device.

Meanwhile, Owen Reece teleported all the heroes of Earth to the Rockies, above his bunker. He wanted them all to engage him in one last ditch effort. Reece had been distraught, but had eventually come to terms with everything, and now felt stronger than ever. He was ready and willing to face the Beyonder once again.

Beyonder returned to his base, and he thought about recording his memory, "Maybe it'll help for remembering me, after I rebirth into human," so he started the recording.

"Let's see... where should I start? The beginning, I suppose…" Beyonder thought then he opened a portal of the Beyonder Realm, "Okay, I came from a realm beyond the Multiverse! I'm now opening up a portal to show where my Beyonder Realm was!"

"It's not there anymore, of course, because it's not even a place without me! See, I'm all of what it was, including the space! Tough concept, I know."

"Anyway, a while ago, I accidentally learned of this strange Multiverse! Here, there are lots of things, and each thing is just a part of the whole, so every single thing is, by itself, incomplete!"

"Here, things that are alive constantly seek to remedy their incompleteness! All activity that goes on stems from this—the driving force of all existence is... desire! All who are incomplete know desire, that's a fact, trust me."

"Since I've become aware of this Multiverse and the existence of others, even I am no longer one, alone! I'm part of a larger whole... therefore I'm incomplete... and therefore I know desire! So where does that leave me? Pretty screwed up."

"You see, all of the other living things here are content pursuing the satisfaction of their desires—but even the mightiest beings among them are like microbes to me! I've got a unique situation—I'm omnipotent!"

"The trouble with being omnipotent is that reality isn't real to me! Everything is what I say it is. If I decide that granite is squeezably soft, it is. If I decide that cows have wings, they do. To put it another way, cows do not have wings because I don't want them."

"My imagination and reality are virtually indistinguishable! All existence, except me, might as well be a figment of my imagination! Maybe it is! I might have just dreamed all this up, including wingless cows! But then, the whole point is that it makes no difference."

"So... I know desire, because I'm incomplete—but what is it that I desire-? I, who utterly dictate all reality? What do I need? Nothing! Literally…"

"I was free of desire back when I seemed to be all there was... therefore, erasing all existence seems logical! But... as long as I conceive of other things, they exist, in an equal reality, remember? Fashion because of my thoughts."

"Can I erase? I don't remember my own mind. Anything before and if I do, what am I then? Dead. The moment that this Multiverse revealed itself to me! Was I alive before then, and just unaware...?"

"...Or was I perhaps, to one born in that who is omnipotent, instant? When he cannot conceive, that is death! Or, perhaps it's just peace-! And that's what I want."

"I... guess! I keep thinking about all these lowly mortal beings whose lives and minds and souls I've touched! I just can't shake the nagging doubt that they have... something that I can't comprehend! Something important! So for this, I decided to be like a mortal!"

"There's only one way to do that by risking mortal death!" Beyonder then showed his device which would recreate him in mortal form. He decided to test it first by creating the New Mutants, whom he had killed earlier. And it was successful.

"Not bad! They're fine in every respect, except that the process left them sort of empty inside—like blank slates, or like zombies, maybe! At least they won't be in any trouble until I figure out what to do with them!"

"A slight adjustment to the old Mama machine will ensure that I come out with my mind and memories intact!" Beyonder said and he adjusted the machine a little bit, "All set! As soon as I finish this, a vessel in which to store my power while I try this crazy experiment!"

Then he went through himself. He came out as a scrawny blonde man; his power was stored in a nearby vessel. He immediately felt time passing by in a blur, and couldn't take it-he plunged back in and restored his godlike state. He tried two-three times more, and he was just going to try again. He found the Molecular Man with the group of heroes and villains who are going to attack him.

"I suspected that I'd find a use for the new mutants! I'll just recreate Warlock, their biomechanical alien partner, so they'll be at full strength. Then "program" instructions to defend me into their vegged-out heads—" Beyonder thought and he ship 'em up to the surface!

"Hey! Where'd they pop in from?" Spidey asked, looking at the New Mutants.

"Three guesses who sent 'em! Be ready for anything!" Captain America command.

"But they're just kids! Except that weird one! Who knows what he is!" Reed Richards said.

"Strange— they're wearing costumes like the X-Men wore long ago! Why? Who are they?" Owen tried to guess.

Recently, the Beyonder utterly erased these new mutants, and all memory of them, and all traces of their existence thus, no one present is truly prepared for their attack! And no one knew them.

They fought with each other, and in the end, the heroes stopped them, and the Molecule Man brought them all down to the Beyonder's base.

"I've got it all figured out though! A few more small adjustments to Ol' Mama, and—Oh," Beyonder was thinking about making some changes in the machine, but he was surprised to see the Molecules Man with the group.

"Oh, yes, Beyonder!" Molecule Man shouted, as they were breaking the barriers, which he set up.

"Look, you just don't understand! I'm not interested in destroying anything anymore." Beyonder said.

"Yeah? Then why'd you send your kid-stooges to kill us?" Molecule Man asked.

"Not to kill you— to delay you until I'm finished here," He tried to explain what he was trying to do, but they wouldn't listen, so he knocked them all including Silver Surfer away with one swipe of his hand. The only one that was left was Reece.

"So much for the small change… You sure you want it this way, Owen?" Beyonder asked, looking at Molecule Man.

"There is no other way! As long as you exist, everything I love is in danger!" Owen replied.

"If you'd just listen to me, maybe I could convince you otherwise-!" Beyonder still tried to explain to him.

"I'm convinced that all you care about is you! You're an entirely selfish god with no redeeming qualities! Either you die... or we do," Owen replied and started fighting with the Beyonder.

The two mightiest beings in all existence clash, and every creature on every planet in every dimension feels the multiversal tremors born of their fury!

While Reece was not as strong as the Beyonder, he was able to hold him off until the other heroes regained consciousness. They tried to help him, but it was not enough, and this time the Beyonder swept Reece aside with all the others. He sent down an enormous blast of energy from the heavens that destroyed everything in its path… Even the Molecule Man was erased with all the heroes and villains.

In the meantime, the Beyonder goes towards his machine. Taking his inspiration from Reece, he was going to be human and omnipotent at the same time. But before he entered, the machine was destroyed.

Beyonder was shocked, but then he understands, who has come towards him, only one being is able to stop him every time, only one person failed his plan.

"So, you have finally come back, and again once more death, once more rebirth in the new Universe. Again restart," Beyonder said as he looked towards Sharky.

"No, this time, I will send you out from the Marvel Multiverse," Sharky replied as he, and used his Alien X powers to destroy the Beyonder.

A giant white burst of energy exploded from the Beyonder, and for a minute, it seemed as if all of the universe was destroyed anyway. But then the light receded, and the Cosmic particles again tried to go into a different Universe.

But this time, Sharky doesn't give him a chance, and he drives all of the cosmic particles out of dimension. Out of the Universe 621, out of the Marvel Multiverse. Send back into where it comes from — the Beyonder Realm.

"So it's all over," The Living Tribunal said, finally taking the relief. "Yes, just need some repairs," Sharky replied as he closed the pinhole, which existed into the Beyonder Realm and shows over the Marvel Multiverse.

Then he used his powers to bring back the New Mutants, Mutants, Avengers, all over the things which existed in Universe 621, and also he used his powers, which he spread over all of the Multiverse to erase the Beyonder existence from anyone's minds.

"Finally, I will return back to Universe 613," Sharky said, and he said goodbye to the Living Tribunal, before hopping on his Interstellar Harley towards Universe 613.

"See you later," The Living Tribunal replied, as he also goes back towards the middle of Marvel Multiverse to watch over all of the Universes, and saves it from all over the danger like the Beyonder.

But unknown to the others, the energy he had sent out of our world went back to the Beyonder Realm, and he thought the Beyonder influence was over. For his recklessness, the Beyonder was exiled and forced to remain in his own universe, where he once again was bored with life, because everything was just him.

However, Beyonder was still able to observe, and potentially manipulate, the Guardians' of Universe 791 through the costume he gave to Vance Astro.

"Hahahaha, they thought, it's all over, I will return back," Beyonder laughed as he looked over at Vance Astro, who was in the black suit, which Beyonder had given him.

And this time, his plan has started as he started observing the Guardian of the Galaxy of the 31st Century. He has seen when Vance and his team defeated the serial killer Ripjak.

Then the Ripjak claimed he was only after Bubonicus and only killed those infected with the plague that killed his people to stop the spreading of the disease. Guardians of the Galaxy accepted his explanation and went to search for Bubonicus.

But unknown to them, it was all of the Beyonder's plan. Vance allied himself with Ripjak and left to face Bubonicus alone because his suit would protect him from the disease, but not the others.

Just as they found Bubonicus, and the magical wand of Bubonicus created a little tears in Universe 791, it was the chance Beyonder was waiting for.

Vance and Ripjak defeated Bubonicus, and he called back the Guardian Of The Galaxy. But it was disassembled when he went to fight Bubonicus. So he left the team and went alone, but unknown to Guardian, he was not the Vance Astro, but he was Beyonder. While the real Vance Astro was sent to Universe 616.

"I have finally returned, and this time my target is the Living Tribunal," Beyonder laughed, as he has again returned back in the Marvel Multiverse, this time he transports himself to Universe 830 but in the future timeline, so the Living Tribunal and Sharky will not catch him. And this time he has decided to work from the shadows.

This time Beyonder's plan was not to play the little game, his plan was to destroy the whole Multiverse, and for it he was ready.

But for it's he need to killed the all the Abstract Entities, all the cosmic beings and especially the Living Tribunal, because he understands, the Living Tribunal was the beings, who will always sends his location to Sharky Tennyson, if he doesn't send it, the Sharky will not found it and his many plans have not disrupted.

Meanwhile, Sharky is now going back to Universe 613, he has wasted so much time, it has been two years till he has left Universe 613. Even though it was one month ago, he killed the Beyonder. He has wasted his time in leaving his multiples in the different Universes to live with his wives.

It all happened because of the Beyonder, if he has not wasted his time on the Beyonder, he has already returned back. Just as he was going inside the portal of Universe 613. He found something was missing, he turned and looked towards the middle of Marvel Multiverse, there was the Living Tribunal throne, but he was not there.

"What? What the fuck happened now?" Sharky was confused as he turned his Interstellar Harley towards the Living Tribunal throne.

"If he has gone somewhere, then his throne will also be gone with him, he didn't go anywhere without his throne, what happened here?" Sharky was thinking, he didn't understand, now again what happened.

"Show me the time when the Living Tribunal was present here," Sharky commands as he activates the power of Clock Work.

As the time goes backwards, he finds the Beyonder comes in front of The Living Tribunal.

"Beyonder, what are you doing here? You have been judged to live in your Beyonder Realm," The Living Tribunal said to Beyonder.

"But, this time, I have come to take my revenge?" Beyonder replied and he attacked the Living Tribunal. They both battled. Their battle destroyed some of the Universe, and finally the Living Tribunal lived no more, it fell from the heavens…

Then Beyonder picks up the dead body of The Living Tribunal and throws it back in his own Realm, the Beyonder Realm.

"How? How is it possible? How the Beyonder returned back, and how was he able to kill the Living Tribunal?" Sharky shouted in a shocked tone. Because the Living Tribunal was the strongest Entity of the Marvel Multiverse just below the One-Above-All, and he worked for the One-Above-All, so it was so much shocking that someone was able to kill the Living Tribunal.

"First I need to bring the Living Tribunal," Sharky said, as he went towards the Beyonder Realm. He activated the power of the Alien X, and entered inside the Beyonder Realm.

But after entering inside, he was shocked, it was really shocking, because there was a whole new Universe, which was not present there, when he last visited. And the planet was created by the body of the Celestial, Galactus. Also there was the dead body of the Oblivion, Death, Infinity, Eternity and the many other abstract entities.

And in the body of the Living Tribunal, a majestic Kingdom was set up, where the Beyonder was sitting.

"Beyonder, what have you done this time?" Sharky asked, looking at him, the Eternity presence means one of the Universes is missing from Marvel Multiverse.

"Wellcome Sharky, you know, in the beginning, whenever I see you, I understand the fear. Every time I have only one plan to run away from you. Even when you threw me in the Beyonder Realm. I was just afraid of you then."

"But as time passed, I realized that you cannot do any harm to me. You can only throw me from one Universe to another Universe. Then I realized, why should I be afraid of you, I should not be afraid of you at all."

"But now I want revenge. And you like to save the Universe every time. So first thing I did after going into your Universe, I destroyed Universe 830. You have seen all of these Celestials, and the abstract Entities, they all belong to Universe 830, which now serves as my trophy."

"And your best friend, the Living Tribunal's body now serves as my Kingdom's land. I know, I have no power to kill you, but I will destroy the entire Universe in the same way every time, one by one. And then I will destroy the entire Multiverse. And you will just only be able to keep watching that your lovely Multiverse is destroyed," Beyonder revealed his plan, as he mocked Sharky.

"Beyonder, Beyonder, Beyonder," Sharky looked towards the Beyonder as he came in front of the Beyonder. "I have given you many chances, I have tried many times, so you will return back in a good way, but each time you become more daring. You have seen many times, I can easily bring all of these things, which you destroyed. Then what's the difficulty about reviving all of them again? My command, all of you revive," Sharky said, as he waved his hands towards the Living Tribunal and all other Abstract Entities.

Just in a few seconds, the Universe of Beyonder Realm was broken, everyone was standing up, even the Beyonder's kingdom was destroyed as the Living Tribunal stood up.

Beyonder was a little bit shocked, but since he had already seen Sharky's powers, he was not more shocked.

"So what, our struggle will go again like this, everytime, you will restore and I will destroyed, from now on our never ending battle will start," Beyonder replied.

"Sharky, he was true, this was really a never ending battle," The Living Tribunal said, he understood the Beyonders were really a mistake of the Celestials. And now his last hope was on the One-Above-All.

"No, this is not the never ending, I have my life, and my dreams. I have even needs to visit different Multiverses, how can I will be busy in battling the Beyonder," Sharky said, then he turned his face towards the Beyonder, "Beyonder, you have so much powers inside you, then I will take over the all of the powers of you."

Sharky finally decided to activate his full powers, he opened the multiple portals,from where different Sharky was coming and merged with him, which he just left on different Universes to enjoy the experience, after thinking the Beyonder's game was over.

"So what are you going to try now, I am very interested?" Beyonder said as he looked towards Sharky with a mocking smile.

"Then let's see, activate the fusion of Alien X and Feedback," Sharky commanded as the first time, after his Omnitrix was destroyed, he was changing into an alien form. It was a pure black alien, but a little-little white star was on his body.

His hand has a socket type while he also has two antennae and a tail with round plugs on their tips, four-fingered hands, and feet with only two front toes. He also has gold battery bolts on his shoulders, arms, and hips.

"So, what is this funny thing?" Beyonder asked, looking at Sharky.

"This is your end, now destroyed," Sharky said, as his commands were delivered, once again Beyonder was shattered into many cosmic particles.

But just as the cosmic particles were again going to gather, "No, this was the last and for all," Sharky said, as using his hand, his tail and his antennae, Sharky started absorbing the cosmic particles of Beyonder.

"Sharky, what are you doing?" You can't absorb all of the Beyonder powers, it is beyond what your body is able to adjust.

"I know what I am doing. I didn't want to take this step, because it was time wasting, but I want to end the Beyonder for once and all," Sharky replied as he continuously absorbed the cosmic particles and his body was growing bigger with each second.

But suddenly two others being appeared there. They were Kubik and the Shaper of Worlds appeared. They were both sentient Cosmic Cubes. Cosmic Cubes that had evolved into having self-awareness and personalities.

"You can't able to absorbed everything, your body will be destroyed and once again the Beyonder will revive," Kubik explained to Sharky.

"I know, but this needs to be done, and let's see who will be revived in the end," Sharky replied.

"Okay, then also take back the power of Owen Reece of all the alternate Universe, since they also have Beyonder's powers," Shaper of Worlds said.

"Good Idea, I have forgotten about it," Sharky replied, since he didn't want to take the risk of the Beyonder rebirth. He opened the portal of all over the Universe of Marvel Multiverse and from it. And from it all of the Owen Reece comes in front of Sharky, he also starts absorbing all of their powers, leaving them the powerless, before returning them back to their dimension.

Now everyone's eyes were on the Sharky, as he has grown even bigger than The Living Tribunal. "Now, you all leave the Beyonder Realm, and I will close the dimensions forever, so except for me, no one can travel to Marvel Multiverse," Sharky shouted to them.

They nodded, and all of them quickly exited the Beyonder Realm. And then Sharky locked all of the way of Beyonder Realm so no one could cross the Beyonder Realm to the Marvel Multiverse.

"Now, we will meet later," Sharky said, as he understands he has taken the overlimit of Cosmic Energy. And then with badoom sound, he was blasted in many pieces all over the Beyonder Realm.

Leaving all of his loves alone, but the most sad thing is, no one knows about his sacrifice except for a few beings.

"So, Beyonder was destroyed once and for all," A voice comes out, and it is revealed in the Beyonder Realm not only Beyonder was present, but there were also other beings.

"Yes, from now on, we will not create any cosmic cubes," Other one said.

"After all, it was our mistake that created an anomaly. But since Beyonder was erased, everything is perfect, from now on, pass the orders not any Beyonders will create any stronger thing," Third one ordered, it revealed they were from the Beyonders species, the same being created by The Lost One.

"But, from now on, we are also locked in this dimension, unable to visit other places," The fourth one said.

"Whatever, the Beyonder Realm was so big, just live in the peace," First one answered, they again vanished as they appeared leaving the Beyonder Realm in silence.
