As soon as the robotic voice had finished, two streams of golden energy entered Matthew, circulating and purifying the energy within himself.

His lips twitched in annoyance, 'I mean this is great and all, but you could give me some time to rest before-'

Without warning, Matthew's aura flared everywhere as his body tensed up, preparing for a breakthrough.

Even though it was a breakthrough at the beginner stages since most people never even had the chance of going further than the Martial Mortal Stage, now that a certain someone tried to breakthrough several stages at a time, of course, it'll cause a commotion.

But it seems like the system was in a hurry, and had immediately activated its rewards, beginning the breakthrough!

Gritting his teeth, he stood resolutely, "Fine, bring it then! I did this just a few days ago, I can do it again!" He shouted with renewed vigor.

There was no distinct realm in this breakthrough, except for the fact that he was still in the Energy Strengthening Realm as he flowed through the stages like water as if there were no bottleneck in the first place.

While this rapid yet steady breakthrough was happening, the amount of energy coursing through Matthew's body had increased much more than before! Now that he was finally breaking through to higher stages where differences in stages will now finally show, so did the {Ancient One}'s ability!

Woosh~

In a single moment, from the 1st stage of Energy Strengthening, he had completely skipped over most of the Refinement stages as the dense natural energy from both the panda and the current area he was in allowed him to completely disregard them in one go!

At that moment, all of his cores and his entire body went through drastic changes, forcing him to grow again.

Luckily, he wasn't near anyone at this time. If he had done this with any cultivators around, even if they were way above his stage, they'd be interested in dissecting him for such fast growth without any damage to his foundations or cores!

Even before, breakthrough over ten stages in the tempering realm might be a bit exaggerated, it certainly wasn't possible, but just so rare that these instances could be counted with only one hand!

Now that he completely skipped the hardest part of the tempering realm, which were the two refinement realms, or also known as the foundation's realms, even otherworldly geniuses would be quite envious of such growth if they could survive!

Now, he was already in the 2nd stage of {Energy Refinement}, however, even with this growth, from the subconscious movements of Matthew's body, it was evident that he wasn't satisfied nor done with his consecutive breakthrough.

He passed through the 3rd stage, 4th stage, 5th stage...

Each one of his cores worked in overdrive to process all of this new energy, however, it was well within its actual limits, so there were no actual side effects since an outside force had continued to nourish Matthew's body and soul...

7th stage, 8th stage, 9th stage...

The cores had now started to solidify, preparing themselves for a burst of higher quality energy once they breakthrough to the Energy Body Realm. Each core was now comparable to several early awakened cores activating at the same time, allowing them to run at 5 times the efficiency and potency compared to before.

The cores were now at the last stage of solidifying themselves as they now went over the limit accumulating natural energy and turning them into cultivation energy. This process allowed streams of energy to form between all for cores made to refine energy at a much more efficient rate, forcing even more stress on Matthew.

Fortunately, with the help of the system and the enhanced abilities {Ancient One}, {One with Energy}, and {Weak One}, part of Matthew's limiter has been removed as his body continued to be nourished.

Each time his aura became chaotic, the three abilities worked in harmony to control it, allowing the system to effectively help its master breakthrough with no difficultly.

Crack~

At one point, Matthew's body had even cracked but was instantly healed before he could even feel it. From this breakthrough, even his foundations had been affected greatly, trying to ascend to a higher level.

As the struggle continued, the three abilities had strengthened themselves as more and more natural energy flowed into Matthew, sucking the lush trees, plants, and grass around him to be sucked dry.

In the climax of the breakthrough, the energy inside of Matthew started to calm down, accumulating into one large burst of energy being released from him. allowing him to go over the limit for a split second.

And finally... Matthew had reached the peak of the 1st stage of Energy Body no less!

The breakthrough had completely changed his body, reinforcing his cores even further as his foundations upgraded once again! Now, his foundations had reached the perfect level, forming the Ancient Foundation Body thanks to his {Ancient One} ability.

The aura on his body had swiftly stabilized, becoming a calm white flame surrounding him. His total energy reserves had multiplied by over 25 times and even the potency and density of his energy had increased by several times as well!

In addition to that, it seems like all of Matthew's cores have now awakened, fusing with their respective organs so his body doesn't become deformed from the size of these cores.

This kind of breakthrough basically signaled that this cultivator now had quite literally, a bright future ahead of them, no matter where they went!

Huuuu~

"Well, that was easier than I expected... should be because of the Perfect Breakthrough reward from the system." Matthew closely observed his body.

His physical age now reached that of a 13-year-old. Since his muscles were developed earlier from the energy he's absorbed, he now had a massive advantage compared to other young cultivators striving towards cultivation.

The Ancient Foundation Body had drastically increased his prowess compared to normal cultivators, giving him the ability to fight cultivators several increment realms above him!

Now, if he applied to some sort of sect, guild, or some other organization, he'll at least be considered instead of being turned away.

If any sects knew that someone was able to breakthrough to the Energy Body Realm, most of their top-tier talents would already start doubting their lives.

As the screen was shown to Matthew, a series of information stormed into his mind, causing him to tense his body slightly until it was over.

The painful moment was short-lived as the abilities and skills this time wasn't as stress-inducing to his body since the new skills grow with him.

He ignored the small UI changes, he looked at the small number of new things he gained, "Huh? Did I only get three sub-abilities and two skills? Hey, what's going on here?" Matthew furiously tapped on the status panel.

He had checked his status after every large breakthrough, each time, well, except for when he broke through to the Energy Strengthening Realm. Although it seemed like every two realms, Matthew had already been told that it was only for the basic realms before he could receive one ability per major realm.

This was fine with him, considering that even though he was capable of breaking through multiple stages at a time, it seems like his body was still too weak to obtain anything actually good from the system.

Even though he didn't expect much, this definitely wasn't it right? He skipped over two whole realms and even made it to the Energy Body Realm, how come he didn't get two sub-abilities for each ability?

[I should've been more specific, my apologies, Master...] The robotic voice stated with a hint of mockery in its voice. It had no intention of speaking after that!

His eye twitched in annoyance, 'Just say it already, then!'

[Yes, yes. I'll explain, then. When I stated the 'basic' realms, I meant the four realms before reaching the {Energy Body} Realm, meaning the two strengthening and refinement realms are included as such.]

As soon as it finished speaking, Matthew facepalmed. "Could I not notice! No wonder they're the 'basic' stages. It's to prep my body to not just withstand my current abilities and skills, but future abilities which would instantly give me several sub-abilities once I get them!" He was enlightened, and his anger towards the system had already faded.

[Correct, Master. Since you've reached the {Energy Body} Realm so quickly and so efficiently, you will now gain a sub-ability for every realm breakthrough!]

Now that he had gotten the answer that he wanted, he frowned. "Now, since I've completed the {Mission}, giving me this instance, when are you going to send me out?"

The system had made it pretty clear that he was stuck in a dimension the system made, meaning now that he didn't have the need to enter it again, he would be sent out.

He was prepared to just get thrown out by the system, well, at least he hoped he was. 'Let's hope that I don't throw up if I get thrown into another world through dimensional travel or teleportation.'

In front of Matthew, a small crack in space had appeared!

[Skill Descriptions:

{Domain} - One of the skills unlocked by higher tier cultivators, however, with the pace of growth from being an [Ancient One], this is unlocked early. Allows the user to make a 360 field around them, giving them a great advantage, if not, near-complete control within that area as long as their opponent's domain isn't as strong as theirs.

{Accumulation} - Being one of the sub-abilities for [Weak One], they won't give any increase in actual strength, but everything else. This sub-ability grows with the user, as long as the user is exposed to more occupations and experiences, the user's aptitude, skill, and ability to perform said experiences will also rise.

{Reflection} - A straightforward sub-ability, allowing the user to reflect any non-physical attacks. This sub-ability will lose a small percentage of its ability for every attack above the realm of the user.

{Tolerance+} - A passive skill that increases the user's overall tolerance of everything, whether that is pain, heat, cold, or even emotional damage.

{External Enhancement} - An active skill that allows the user to draw out their external energy in an efficient manner to enhance their body. It can also be used to increase the attributes of an item if it is conductive with external energy. (It is basically a weaker version of [Adrenaline Rush], but with no side effects, and is also stackable.)
