Jock Next Bed (BL)

College was like a wake-up call for most people. Especially the likes of Christopher Owen, who spent the rest of his high school years messing around and pining for the boy he never had. Having had a frustrating high school year, he decided to dedicate himself to his studies in college.   He flew many miles away from home, changed his looks, and hid his real identity from everyone.  His plans were simple: study hard, pass well, no dating. But then he realized two things: life was anything but easy without the backing of his last name. And... he wasn't sure how long he could last before he jumped his roommate, who was obviously not gay. But lust wasn't love, right? Maybe he could indulge a little? Just a little, I promise.

"You know nothing,"

When Sky sighed for the third time in a minute, Chris could not help but turn to ask him.

"Is something wrong?"

Sky looked away from the window and faced him, asking quietly, "What could possibly be?"

"I don't know. You don't look too good."

He grinned. "I always look good."

"I'm being serious," Chris said in a serious tone, letting Sky know he was not playing around.

"So now you care about me, huh?"

Where was this coming from?

 "I should," Chris answered.

"Why?"

"You are my roommate. And even though you are a jackass, you've been nice to me. You even got me a burger tonight."

"Everybody likes burgers."

"Not everybody gives others when they didn't even ask for it."

"You must hate me," Sky said out of nowhere, confusing Chris.

"Why would I hate a 'perfect' person like you?" Chris asked sarcastically, but Sky laughed.

This laugh wasn't the usual kind. It sounded kind of sad.

"Between the two of us, the only perfect person I see is... Chris." Sky pointed at him with wobbly fingers.

Chris scoffed. "You keep flirting even when you are drunk."

"I am drunk, yes. But I am not flirting. I wish... I was like you."

"What?" Chris asked, turning to look at him fully.

"Okay... where is this coming from?"

"Striptease? Pfft! I bet a lot of perverts want to see me go nude." Sky chuckled to himself and fell back on the seat, closing his eyes.

Okay... was he being referred to now? Chris wondered to himself.

Sky sighed heavily. "I wish I had the perfect body to show them."

"What? Are you kidding me?" Chris asked, laughing. Was this guy trying to annoy him?

"What other perfect body do you want to have?"

Sky opened his eyes, looking at Chris through a squint.

"It's cute that you think I'm perfect." He looked at him with a smile, but his eyes were sad. "I hate my body."

Chris frowned. "That's..."

"Shh! You know nothing."

The taxi stopped just then in front of their dorm, and Chris helped him out while looking at him the whole time like he was staring at an alien.

How could he hate his body? Was he kidding?

"Can you walk?" He asked Sky, whose eyes were still shut.

"I... can manage."

"Hurry then. They are about to close the gates."

Chris held his hand and tried to make him walk faster, but when Sky almost stumbled the second time, he draped Sky's hand around his shoulder and held his waist to help him move faster.

Fortunately, they were able to get past the gate while Chris gave the security man an apologetic smile.

It was a big job leading Sky up to their room. He wondered why the boy had drank so much. If he had not been around, how would Sky have returned here? Maybe his friends would have helped him, or he would have gone to sleep wherever he usually slept?

Now that he thought about it, he wasn't sure if Sky had told his friends that he was leaving with him because Sky hadn't taken anything with him except for his mobile phone, which was in his pocket. He wasn't even carrying the backpack he had taken out of the dorm with him.

When they finally got to their room, Chris helped Sky to his bed, trying hard not to just drop him on the bed like a log of wood.

When Sky's back hit the bed, he closed his eyes, going straight to sleep.

"Hey!" Chris called when he noticed that he was about to go to sleep like that without at least taking off his shoes and changing his clothes, which smelled so much of beer. Chris had noticed some drink from his glass slipping out and dropping on his shirt, so he got an idea why he reeked so much of beer.

When Sky continued to ignore him and just went to sleep, Chris sighed and bent down to help Sky take off his shoes.

Sky was one lucky lad. He never would have done this for anyone else. In fact, he was the one to even pour more drinks on them while they slept.

Surprisingly, he felt Sky's hand on his hair, brushing it out of his face. Chris stiffened and then looked up at Sky, who was propping his head up with his other hand, his elbow on the bed.

"The blue... is pretty," Sky said quietly.

God! Why was this boy tempting him so much?

Chris stared at his face, looking a bit lost.

Should he just confess to Sky about his sexuality so that the guy will stop flirting with him so much?

Chris swallowed and focused on taking off his shoes. After he was done, he shook Sky's hand out of his hair before he stood up.

"You should take off your sweater; it reeks so much of beer."

Sky fell back on the bed lazily. "I want to sleep."

"Don't be lazy. You won't sleep comfortably with that on." Chris pointed at his sweater before he moved closer to help him undress. But as soon as he held the hem of the sweater to pull it off, Sky held his hands down and opened his eyes fully, glaring at him.

"What the hell are you doing?" He asked in an unfriendly tone.

"I'm helping you..."

"I didn't ask for your help." He said rudely and shoved him off, leaving a disbelieving Chris to just stare at him as Sky lay on the bed properly, covering his entire body with a quilt.
