I'mma Do Mahito So Dirty.

_____________________________________________________

Under the dim glow of streetlights, Junpei Yoshino walks away from his school, his shoulders slumped and eyes cast downward. He's used to being targeted by bullies, but today he's particularly troubled by the conflict between his inner turmoil and the desire to take drastic measures.

He reflects on the idea of pressing a button that would eliminate someone he despises—but is conflicted about its morality. The thought of pressing such a button if it meant taking out someone who disrespected him is far more tempting.

Seeking a distraction, Junpei heads to Kinema Cinema, a popular spot for moviegoers. As he settles into his seat, he notices a group of his rude classmates—always loud and obnoxious. The film begins, but their disruptive behavior quickly escalates, creating an unsettling atmosphere.

Suddenly, the scene in the cinema shifts dramatically. The raucous classmates are transformed grotesquely; their bodies warp and distort until they are unrecognizable. The change happens so swiftly and brutally that it leaves Junpei in shock. The once rowdy group is now a horrific, morphed mass of flesh.

Junpei's heart races as he struggles to process what he's witnessed. His eyes lock onto a figure in the shadows—a blue-haired man with a patchwork face, standing calmly amidst the chaos. Junpei's instinct leads him to follow this enigmatic figure as he exits the cinema, slipping into the alleyway.

The alley is narrow and cloaked in shadows, adding to the eerie atmosphere. Junpei cautiously approaches the blue-haired man, who seems to have noticed him. The cursed spirit's eyes, hidden beneath the patchwork mask, fixate on Junpei with a blend of curiosity and amusement.

The cursed spirit speaks in a low, almost melodic tone. "Those people—were they important to you?"

Junpei, barely containing his unease, surprises the spirit with his response. "No. But... I want to learn. Can you teach me how to do that? To kill people like you did?"

...

Under the muted glow of streetlights, Kento Nanami, a stoic grade 1 jujutsu sorcerer, strides confidently alongside Yuji Itadori. The evening air is tense with the weight of their mission: to investigate the unsettling disturbance that occurred at Kinema Cinema. Yuji, eager to learn, follows closely, his eyes scanning the surroundings for any sign of cursed energy.

Nanami explains the process of tracking cursed energy. "The key to finding the source of the disturbance is to focus on the residual cursed energy left behind from the cursed technique. This energy lingers and can be traced if you know what to look for."

Yuji nods, concentrating hard as he attempts to sense the traces of cursed energy. His eyes close momentarily, trying to connect with the invisible residue left by the cursed technique. Despite his efforts, he struggles to pick up on the faint traces.

"Focus harder," Nanami instructs calmly. "You need to sense it before you can see it. It's about feeling the energy, not just looking for it."

Yuji takes a deep breath, channeling his concentration. His senses begin to sharpen, and he starts to notice the subtle trails of cursed energy lingering in the air. His face lights up with a mixture of relief and determination as he begins to follow the faint trail.

Nanami observes with a neutral expression, his demeanor professional and detached. Yuji glances at him, hoping for some words of encouragement. However, Nanami remains stoic and says, "I'm not here to give you praise or insult you. My job is to uphold the law and ensure the mission is completed."

Their investigation is momentarily interrupted by the arrival of Satoru Gojo, who appears with his trademark nonchalance. He waves casually as he approaches, his expression a mix of amusement and mockery.

"Ah, Nanami," Satoru calls out, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "Still playing the role of the office worker dropout, I see."

Nanami raises an eyebrow but remains unfazed. "And what brings you here, Gojo?"

Satoru grins, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "Just thought I'd drop by and see how my favorite office worker is faring. You know, Nanami used to work in an office before he became a jujutsu sorcerer. Far more reliable than a lot of the other sorcerers, wouldn't you say?"

Yuji watches the interaction with a mixture of curiosity and confusion. Despite Satoru's playful jabs, it's clear that there's mutual respect between him and Nanami.

...

Under the stark, fluorescent lights of the Kinema Cinema's rooftop, Kento Nanami and Yuji Itadori stand side by side, their attention split between scanning the area for clues and the conversation at hand. The weight of the investigation hangs heavy, but Nanami's candid remarks add an unexpected layer of tension.

Nanami's voice carries a mixture of resignation and honesty. "You know, I only took up the life of a jujutsu sorcerer because it's less shitty than office work. At least this job has some purpose, unlike the endless grind of a corporate job."

Yuji, listening intently, absorbs Nanami's words. "I thought you and Satoru were close. But you don't seem to respect him much."

Nanami's expression hardens slightly. "Respect in this society is hard-earned and rarely given. I trust Satoru because he's reliable, but respect is a different matter. The way jujutsu society functions, it's not easy to respect anyone."

He pauses before continuing, his gaze piercing. "And for the same reason, I can't recognize you as a true jujutsu sorcerer yet. Despite Sukuna within you, you haven't proven your worth."

Yuji, feeling the sting of Nanami's words, swallows hard. "I know I've been told I'm weak and useless. But please, have patience with me. I'm trying to become stronger."

Nanami's eyes soften slightly, though his tone remains steady. "Fine. But remember, it's the little losses that build you into an adult. Losing your favorite bread at the convenience store, finding more hairs on your pillow, or seeing your favorite store close down—those are the things that shape you. It's not about the grand battles; it's about enduring the everyday disappointments."

...

The rooftop is now a battlefield. Nanami and Yuji face off against the two curses, their presence a stark contrast to the chaotic scene unfolding around them. Nanami's movements are precise and calculated, each step a testament to his skill and experience. Yuji, though still a novice, is focused and determined to prove himself.

Nanami's voice cuts through the tension. "My ability creates weak points on my enemies, which I can exploit with my blade. Even though it's bandaged, it's still sharp enough to slice through these weak points. Are you paying attention, Yuji?"

Yuji nods, though his eyes remain locked on the curses, trying to anticipate their movements. His focus is unwavering as he recalls the lessons from his training with Gojo.

Nanami demonstrates his technique with practiced ease. He reveals the wrapped blade and strikes the exposed points on one of the curses with pinpoint accuracy. The curse wails and disintegrates under the precise slashes, Nanami's technique cutting through its defenses effortlessly.

With the last curse obliterated by Yuji's refined "Divergent Fist," the rooftop falls silent. Nanami takes a moment to assess the situation, his eyes narrowing as he observes Yuji's work. He silently acknowledges the impressive growth in Yuji's technique, understanding why Gojo chose him as a protégé.

However, something about the curses disturbs Nanami. He takes out his phone and snaps a quick photo of the remaining curse's remains. The photo reveals an unsettling detail—the curses appear to be ex-humans, their forms distorted and grotesque, yet unmistakably human. Nanami's brow furrows in realization.

"Yuji, stop. Look at this," Nanami instructs, showing Yuji the photo. Yuji's expression shifts from triumphant to troubled as he examines the image.

Nanami and Yuji head to the medical facility where Doctor Shoko Ieiri awaits. The doctor examines the photo with a practiced eye. "These curses… they were once human," she reveals. Her tone is somber as she continues, "Their bodies were transformed into curses through the application of cursed energy. The shock from the modification killed them, and somehow, they were granted cursed energy capabilities akin to a true curse."

Yuji's face pales, and he clenches his fists, the weight of the revelation hitting him hard. "So… they were humans. They were… innocent."

Doctor Ieiri notices Yuji's distress and places a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "Yuji, you're not to blame for their deaths. They were turned into curses, a process beyond your control. But I understand why this is troubling for you."

Yuji struggles to maintain his composure. "It's still hard to accept. I've never wanted anyone to suffer, even curses."

Nanami watches Yuji with growing interest, noting the young sorcerer's empathy and resolve. "The residuals from the movie theater were likely a trap to lure us. This is a sophisticated opponent we're dealing with. Our upcoming mission will be challenging, but we need to be ready."
