1.07.2 Regret without effect

Ignoring the show running in the background. He started tapping away on his computer before a screen appeared in front of him.

It was CCTV footage of the whole dorm. He had long hacked the dorm cameras out of boredom and never expected to use them.

Well, things don't always go as expected. His previous act of nonchalance has bit him in the ass. He had treated Hamid as someone rational, someone who won't involve others in matters that doesn't concern him.

It was for this reason he treated their threats as blowing air, but unexpectedly those students took things too far.

"Here it is." Luvi saw the footage from five ten minutes ago. He wanted to know how Andy had been climbing the stairs or who it was that put him on his door.

Though the answer surprised Luvi.

'He is out cold while walking? This is curious.' An injured Andy climbed on his own with a broken body and then fell in front of his door like a puppet without strings.

It was an odd scene and Luvi got curious about who might have an ability like this.

'Well, this makes it easy.' At least this way Luvi would be able to take his revenge.

Though, while he was watching the footage. It got cut off suddenly and then there was an error.

"File not present."

Someone deleted the file.

"These bastards, just how much money have they given to the manager." Only admins can delta videos, which made Luvi understand what kind of people might be involved.

And with the last phone call from Dormitory manager, he directly blamed him for this. Cus, there was no way a bunch of students have paid multiple faculty members for this.

They would want to keep this matter hushed, pubiczing this matter to others would just be nonsensical.

And speaking of the devil, someone directly called him.

"You man, it would seem there are others in the infirmary so the nurse won't be able to come, how about you bring your friend there?"

"..."

"Are you listening, young man? Hurry and bring your friend to the infirmary, who knows if he has any internal bleeding."

"..."

"You should be treating me like an Idiot, don't you?" Luvi was annoyed. He really was.

No, it would be better to say he was angry. And Luvi can't remember when he got angry last time.

"What do you mean young man? I am just asking you to bring your friend to the nurse."

"Enough of this, I am getting the police involved." Luvi directly said and closed the phone.

He was not so foolish to take his injured friend on his back to the infirmary. He can see the intent behind this suggestion.

Hence, even though he didn't like this matter to get bigger with himself involved, he has no choice anymore.

There was also a message from the hospital he called before, who said they were denied entry into the campus, because according to them, the student was already taken to the infirmary.

Which also left out lots of breadcrumbs in the way. And if at this point the police got involved, it will be a huge controversy.

But why would Luvi care about it?

Even though he hated police and authority of any kind in general He was not shy enough to not use them to his advantage.

Though, it's not like there aren't any drawbacks of involving police in this case.

No one likes snitches and if he does this, the target on his back will become bigger. But he has no option left.

He can't leave his friend like this and he has no hopes of college doing anything about it.

So he directly called the police, or so he tried.

Because someone had already called him in turn.

It was the Dormitory manager once again, but with a different number.

"Stop whatever you are doing." He threatened in an angered voice.

The previous nonchalance was absent in his speech, Luvi can even hear some distress that the man tried to suppress.

"Just get beat up on a video and that's it. Why are you making things tough for everyone?" He directly said what needed to be done. "Those guys didn't want to involve your friend but you forced them to do it."

"Why should I get beat up? Did I offend some old pervert who wants to see me beaten up?" Luvi asked, curious about what this video stuff was about, but he just ignored it.

"Sorry sir, no sell." He said with a laugh.

But the Dorm manager who was annoyed by Luvi's tone explained to him. "Do you think involving the police will do anything? Those guys will just hide and put out a scapegoat until this is over and then it won't be just a light beating the next time they appear."

"So follow my advice and do what is needed."

"No worries sir, I don't care about what happens later. I am a fool you see. So I will forward this conversation to the police, along with the others we had before this. I will also name the students that came to me this morning."

"Young man, don't make this matter bigger than it already is."

"Duly noted, sir. But things already are from my perspective. I am not in the habit of being beaten by others, nor do I get scared by it. So forget about changing my mind through your threats alone."

"Oh yes, your little act of deleting the CCTV footage was ineffective as I had already downloaded everything on my drive before you did it. So, even though I might be reprimanded for hacking into the security of the academy. It won't be as heavy of a punishment as the one you will get."

"So good luck, sir. I believe you will need it more than me."

Luvi had a smirk on his face.

Drama?

He relished it.

He enjoyed imparting unequal pain on others that he considered his enemies. But as the situation was, he didn't have the power of his family with him and without them he was no one.

A man with zero influence who no one will care about.

But there is a reason why Luvi had survived to this day even though he was an outlier and weirdo in his class.

He was not as simple as many had assumed.

Luvi was someone without a bottom line. If the situation calls for it, he would even lick the feet of his enemies to save his skin.

But he will remember that humiliation and return it manifold in future.

So currently, it was his time for humiliation. He was going to use police protection and buy himself some time.

Whoever they are and whatever they want, he won't leave them alone. No, he is going to ruin their whole life.

"Young man stop… I will see… I will request the nurse right now.. Don't do anything stupid."

And his strong words also seemed to have affected the Dormitory manager, from his words, it would seem he had not even called the infirmary yet.

Though none of that mattered to him.

"Hah! Too late Uncle. Unless you send me 10k dollars in the next 10 mins, I don't intend to change my mind."

Saying those words, Luvi cut the phone and then directly dialed up the police and informed them of the situation.

"We will be there soon."

The police said.

And Luvi got ready.

This drama is going to get big.

It was also at this time, when he received a message from his phone that he had received 10k$ in his account, which made the smile on his face brighter.

'Ah! he is calling again' Luvi was familiar with the number and so to not be annoyed anymore, he blocked it along with the official number to whom he called before.

Though it was still not over yet, there was another call from someone with a familiar voice.

"What have you done?"

The voice asked in anger and surprise.

"What do you expect will happen when threatening a snitch? And I am king among snitches."

"Do you know what will happen? Even after this matter is over, the whole academy will hate you for bringing police into this matter."

"Don't care… fuck em and fuck you bro."

"You forced my luscious lips to snitch on you… huhu!"

He acted crazy, it was a persona he played on purpose to fool those that intend to harm him. No one likes to talk with a wild animal like him.

"It's better if you don't do it, we won't go after you and also leave your friend alon…"

"Do you think I give a single flying fuck about that retard? You guys annoyed me by dropping him in front of my door and that's it."

"As for not snitching… But I already did that five minutes ago before you called. So that boat has sailed."

"..."

"You will regret it." The voice was cold and filled with killing intent. But Luvi just smirked and said.

"I see, it seems like you are already regretting your choice."
