[Arc 1]Prologue

Arno F. Fabian's POV

HUFF HUFF HUFF HUFF

In a dark alleyway, a young man who seemed no older than 15, was using a nearby wall as support.

"Go find him!", Someone shouted from a distance away, however this someone then screamed "He's injured, he can't be far!".

Which then, an onslaught of soldiers responded with affirmation of the order.

The young man, hearing this dragged his body to another location without being spotted. His silver eyes gleamed, as he gleaned his surroundings for more information.

He pushed his dark bangs out of his face and continued onward to his destination.

The man knew with these injuries he would probably die soon, no, he will inevitably die.

Even the medicines he developed over the years would not save him, hence he headed towards the destination he liked the most.

It took a long time to head to his destination without being spotted, however he eventually made it to his destination.

His destination was a flower field. However, it wasn't just any flower field, it was a Calla Lily field.

The young man ignored all these flowers, and looked at his source of satisfaction. A tombstone.

The man pushed his body beyond its limits and marched towards the tombstone, however when he had a quarter left of his journey--

BAAAAANG

"GOFUH!"

--A laser beam went through his stomach.

The man didn't give up though, he pushed his body even further beyond the limits of his limits, and crawled towards the tombstone. His mother's tombstone.

As he dragged his body to go even further, the white lillies became stained with his blood. However, surprisingly the moment a drop of his blood dripped onto a flower, the whole flower transformed into a red lily. It was as if the flowers themselves began to welcome the man who was near death.

BAAAAANG

Another bullet entered his fragile body, and the man started to grow even more dizzy, as his vision started to become blank. However, he still persisted in his endeavour and moved onwards to his destination.

BAAAANG BAAAANG BAAANG

More bullets made their way to the man's torso, however the man never stopped. His will was unbreakable - unshatterable - and even though he could no longer open his silver eyes, he kept moving forward.

His body stiffened as more of his blood encroached onto the once pure flowers - that were now dyed red - and his agony increased even more.

However, he never stopped crawling.

He grabbed more flowers, he grabbed more grass and he even grabbed the dirt to propel himself even further to his destination.

According to his instincts another bullet should've arrived, however he heard a voice. A familiar voice.

"Halt soldier."

The voice was of his best friend - now general - who probably took pity on the young man.

The general and the young man were of orphan descent, same as the young man. One was known as a genius, and the other was known as a prodigy.

They were supposed to have an unfathomable bond, however it was soon broken apart when the general let his position go into his head.

However, the young man never blamed him. Instead he blamed himself for not being able to teach his best friend how to not be corrupted and tempted by desire, but alas life doesn't go as one expects.

Out of a sign of sympathy, or maybe pity the general halted his soldiers from attacking and instead observed the young man's endeavour to reunite with the only true family he knew.

Tears streamed through the generals face as he began to contemplate his decisions up to this point, however he just swallowed the self-pity in and observed his friend, nay, his little brother's struggle.

The young man - now near his mother's gravestone - limped and sat down near his mother's grave. He knew death was soon, and he had few words to share with his mother. Although, a few words is still words.

"Hahaha...", The young man laughed in self-derision.

"Sorry, Mother.", He smiled as he looked at the civilian crowd forming.

"I don't have any time left, however.", He smiled once more as tears streamed down his face.

"I love you.", He muttered coarsely as his best friend took aim.

However through the last strands of his will, the young man opened a hologram through his bracelet and pressed one button.

BZZZZZ Bzzzzzz BZZZZZZ bzzzzzz

Immediately after, the holowatches and bracelets of everyone in the world rang out. Through it, the world's worst and gruesome history was revealed.

People who saw the message were going to attempt to save the man, however their futile attempt was soon cut short by a single sound.

BAAANG

A gun shot.

The young man's body grew lifeless as he smiled with tears streaming down his face.

The general then began to walk away from this nightmare - called reality - and entered his hovercraft.

Soon after, something mysterious happened.

A white light. A white light, enveloped the young man's body and then he disappeared.

It was on this day, Arno F. Fabian departed from this world, and it was also on this day---

CRAAAASH

"W-what the?", a young lady shouted.

"Everyone, get behind me!", A matured man ordered.

--That Arno F. Fabian departed to a new one.
