CHAPTER – 3 DOCTORS OFFICE

I always like reading book, irrespective of the topic, because I believe any kind of book will give some kind of knowledge.

I hated the smell of sweat, so I don't do thinking's that require a lot of hard work (physically, though i workout on a regular basis)

Its always better to do smart work instead of hard work (thats what i think)

I liked places were its quite, so I choose library, and the best place in it was to sit near window from were I can see the play ground which was a little interesting , not all the time but sometime.

Though I am in my 6th grade I have already finish reading 10th grade note books.

I always find grade books easier, but I still wonder why ja is not able to read such simple things.

I was day dreaming a little that's when I noticed a group of people surrounded in the play ground. I stood from the place I was seated, to take a closer look from the nearest window possible.

Though I am in the 5th floor I am able to recognize that its "she" who fell down.

I started running from that location on that spot.(without realizing)

I reached the ground floor and ran towards the crowded area.

She is already in front of me with her torn pant, sitting in the sand with almost about to cry face, i can see that she is in a lot of pain. ( because she was bleeding a lot)

JA (katheeja) – POV

I don't know why, but I always hated reading.

*EXAM, GRADE, MARK, RESULT, RANK * Who found all these, i just hate hearing these words

Playing was a lot more fun comparatively .

I didn't want to drag anyone into things, that they are not interested in , and started playing with my friends during the PET period (whomever was interested in playing just like me )

I wonder where nabi(jae's nickname ) went

"may be somewhere in the corner sitting and reading book " (i told myself in the back of my mind)

I was playing kho kho with my friend

(kho kho is a game where there will be 2 teams of 12 people of which 3 people will be catcher and 1 will be running in a specific sequence to catch the other three) {you can just google the rules of this game }

So I was in the sneaker team , I was chased by someone all the while ,which I tried to escape.

But because of some distraction I fell down. (i saw him sitting in the 5th floor in our school building reading a book )

Within a fraction of second i got injured in my leg and hand. Dust was allover my body.

It was not a serious injury, but I tore my leggings (thankfully i wore one) . Someone brought water for me to drink so that I wont faint and fall.(just to gain a little hydration )

(*as if I am some small chick*)

I drank the water and that's when I saw people started crowding me .

I started feeling suffocated because of that (fully suffocating because of less air circulation)

While everyone was busy on thinking what to do next.

I saw nabi pushing the people in the crowd and entering inside (i was wondering from where the hell did he come from, it was because of him i fell down) (well may be not exactly because of him, but how did he come here so soon?)

While these thoughts were running in my mind he kneeled down and

He sat next me

*pant pant pant *

I gave him the water that I had in my hand (he must be thirsty because he came all the way running)

He got the bottle from my hand and kept it aside , and tried to lift me in princess style.

(what does he think of himself? Some kind of hero in the movie ?)

But he failed to lift me (i was shocked by him sudden move)

I chucked and that's when he gave me a quick stare (may be he is angry, and i went overboard)

i tried to lighten the mood by starting the conversation.

Ja – "why try doing things which are out of your character?" for which

He didn't answer but took one of my hand and put it on his shoulder. (i was a little startled by his sudden action)

Since we were in similar height, he was able to lift me at least. (i was literally putting half my weight on him)

He directed me to the school infirmary ,where we had a female doctor. (who's sweet)

The room contained 2 beds with most of the medicines placed in the table , it had a clean environment with the smell of disinfectant

I always hated the disinfectant smell, because it reminds me of injection (of course who doesn't hate injection)

He made me sit In the chair available and I *ish ish *(sound made because of pain) while sitting on the table.

Once he placed me in the chair, he himself went to take several things from the cupboard which was on the side (it was as if he already knew where the things were)

He brought many things in his hand and placed them on the tablet near by.

Then he put his hand to remove my pant

*My eyes widened* "hey !!!" I told him (i was so much startled that words didn't leave my mouth)

He stopped his hand , moved back and turned around . He stood facing the wall. (i could see that his ear is turning red)

"am done " I instructed him and that's when he turned back to me . (though he didnt look in my eyes)

he sat in front of me.( suddenly dono what he felt, but he stood up )

He went inside and brought a towel and put it on my lap (covering my skirt)

He started poring some liquid on the wound, used white colored cloth and started wiping it

"he did all these with a straight face" (how can someone be so cruel)

Nabi / janet POV –

I found myself panting infront of her (i know i am not in my right mind)

She gave the bottle that she had in hand (though she is unwell sitting in front of me like a 5 year old , still she never forgets to take care of me )

I took it from her hand , kept it aside and tried lifting her in princess style. " i failed " I couldn't lift her (why do i only fail, when it comes to matter which involves her )

We both fell down together .I was a little embarrassed (not just a little , but a lot)

But without thinking ,I put one of her hand in my shoulder and lifted her (i succeeded this time)

Though I knew she is having a lot of pain, still he managed not to show it on face (just not to worry me )

will ja be okay after the fall ? will the injury heal soon?.. .
