Thank You Adobo

It's already morning. This day is our second date of the year and i didn't really sleep well because i'm super nervous, The "WHAT IF" is running through my head.

But i made up my mind, I'm gonna say yes to his question, But!!! Before that... I will make him confess to me first. Like what the h*ll does he like about me? Since when? And how? JUST HOW!?!? I started preparing my breakfast, It was my favorite!!! An egg with a fried rice sooo delicious.

I eat it quickly like, Wt*? I cooked it like 10min! All of it! But i just eat it like 2min!?

I cooked an egg again because 1 egg is not enough for me, i cook 3 more egg for me to eat.

When i finally done eating, I took a shower and wear a plain of jeans and a classy shirt and specially my favorite rubber shoes. The color is only black and white so it's really good looking. But too bad my shoes is the only one who is good looking, Not me. *sigh*

Goddd I don't have any food left in my fridge, I forgot to buy a food this days because of Jake. I was about to go outside, But my phone rang and i saw Jake's name of it.

"Mmm is there something wrong?"

*Picking up the call*

Hey Jake? Is there something wrong?

J- No... What are you doing?

M- I'm gonna go in a market, Why?

J- Oh, Nothing.

...... What? Is there something wrong again to him? Is he gonna say something?

J- So umm, Where are you now?

M- I'm on the front of my door, Why?

J- Ohw then, Nice timing i'm just down stares on your dorm, Wanna go together? I happen to be passing by

...*Passing by? Ehh? His house is... Oh yeah i don't know where his house is... Ughhh*

M- Mmmm okay, Then i'm gonna hang up?

J- Oh yeah, Please do

..... What was thaaat!?!?! I thought his gonna say something again HAHAHA

I was about to step outside the door. But i remember that my clothes is ugly, But yeah so what!? This is my style duhhh it's just 'JAKE MY CRUSH' nothing less.

I continued walking till i reach the gate of the dorm but when i got there, Jake wasn't there, at all. So i look around and saw him in the corner of the building talking to a beautiful girl, Again? Well that is new for me, He is so stunning, handsome, a good friend, he is BIG too and specially his body is well build, I wonder if his doing exercises?

I didn't go there i just pretend i didn't see anything and just look on my watch and look on my phone and i walk away for me to go to the market, But who would thought that Jake will see me leave? I hope he didn't see me looking at him that time right? Well it's not like this is my first time seeing that, I'm always with him when we are still in school anyway. Jake called my name 3 times while his running, I was lost in thoughts until i hear him calling my name 4 times

Jake - Hey!! Miller!! *huff* *huff* W- why *huff* Are you so mad? *huff* Huh?

Miller - What? Me? Mad at you? NOOOO I WASN'T MADD

Jake - Huh? *huff* Then why did you ignore me when i was calling your name? *huff* *huff*

Miller - Hey take a deep breath first, I wasn't ignoring you, I was just deep in thoughts, That's all. Jake - Re - really? *huff*

Miller - Yeah, So can you please breath first? HAHAHAHA

Jake - Don't you dare laugh at me youuu--

He keeps patting my head while ruining my hair style, He looks... So happy? Did something good happen to him? Well it's not my business. We kept walking till we reach the market, I told him to just wait outside but he insisted to come inside with me.

Jake - Hey do you now how to cook?

Miller - Yeah why? Is there something you want me to cook?

Jake - Mmmmm, Yeah?

I just looked at him with a curious eyes, Where did that question come from? What? Is he planning to move out in my house? Is he?

Miller - Then what is it?

Jake - I wanna try a philippines dishes, They call it adobo?

Miller - Just how do you know that?

Jake - Well i have a friend in there and he told me it was really really nice, So i wanted to try it. Miller - And... You want me to cook it for you?

Jake look at me in the eyes for a minute and nodded like a kid, Wait... LIKE A KID!?!? What the i am his mother or something!? And are we supposed to date at 3pm? Just what is he doing in here? Miller - Don't do that

I continue walking and pick the food can and other stuff for me to go home already.

Jake - Hey wait for me, What did i do?

He is looking at me with a puppy eyes, That's so not him, and cute face and other cute stuffs doesn't suit him.

Miller - Nothing

Jake - Why so cold? Wanna ignore me again?

Miller - Wha- nooo, Ughhh lets head on the cashier can we?

Jake - Okay okay hehehe

While the woman who is punching my groceries, Jake keeps staring at me, Like he's going to the something to me or having a second thoughts on our date or something else.

Woman - Sir, Is this your friend?

Miller - Ah Yeah, I dont know whats wrong with him too *awkward smile* haha

The woman continue on punching my groceries. While looking at Jake too with a weird emotion and i can see her having a question mark on the top of her head.

Miller - Hey stop staring at me like that *whispers*

Jake - Whyyy *whispers*

Miller - People keep looking on this way because you keep staring at me that way *whispers*

Jake - Are you really not gonna cook for me?

Miller - Ughhh yeah yeah i will cook for you okay? Now stop staring at me like that.

Jake - Hehehe okay okay!!!

He seem happy because of adobo, Can i be the adobo? *sigh*

The woman call me and told me it's done she ask for 20 dollar for all of that. When we already outside on the market i told Jake to go home and don't need for him to accompany me through my house,

But he disagree and i just like, what ever, i don't want him to stare at me again like that, specially we're out side. *sigh*

Jake - Why are you sighing?

Miller - What? Ah, No its just it's already 9:00am.

I just find an excuse for him to not ask a question anymore, when we get to my house it's already 9:30am, when we enter to my house i arrange my groceries in my fridge and research the adobo thing, and i was shocked when i see it, it's pretty easy to cook, i first cook the rise, while im waiting for it i was preparing the ingredients for adobo, i told Jake to feel at home and he did.

I drink water and i was about to ask Jake if he want to drink a water too but when i saw the living room he wasn't there, i look to the bathroom too but he wasn't there either so i check the other 2 room but he wasn't there, i have 3 rooms in my dorm which is the room i just checked, and the other one is my room, when i look at my room i saw Jake in there lying in my bed i call him and he responded.

Jake - Yes? You told me to feel at home, And i got curious on your room.

Miller - Yeah yeah, I'm gonna call you if im done cooking.

Jake - Okay thanks Miller.

I exit my room and go to the kitchen, When i got there the rice is almost done 3 min more and it will be ready, I'm just staring in the living room for over 3 min and the rice is done so i started to cook the adobo. First i put 3 spoon of soy sauce, 2 spoon of vinegar, pepper crushed and a water and finally that chicken, i let it there until the chicken is well cooked, when i open it, it smells so good that i already wanted to eat it, 10 more min and it will be ready, i call Jake for us to eat, while his still not going outside on my room, i prepare the table.

Jake - Where is that smell coming from?

Miller - Oh, That? It's the adobo you requested

Jake - Really? You really cooked it hehehe, THANK YOU MILLER!!!

Miller - Yeah yeah, Why are you happy about it? HAHAHAHA

The atmosphere was good until jake brake it and ask a question he was sad and down coz of it. Jake - Miller, Are you really not gonna answer my question? Are you gonna ignore me? Are you gonna reject me?

Miller - Wha-? Noo

WTF? I was planning for him to confess to me first! Like why does he like me? Ughhhhh!!!

Jake - So that means you're gonna say yes right? So are we officially dating now?

Miller - What? B-but i have so many questions in my mind.

Jake - Ask away

Miller - Why me? Why all of a sudden? Are you sure? Are you ready? I am a man like you, Do you really like me?

Jake - Yeah, I do like you Miller.

Jake look at me in my eyes when he said that, I feel like melting and i blushed like a teenage girl who see her idol for the first time in personal. The atmosphere become awkward, I just went to the kitchen and take the adobo in the table for us to eat already, Jake just say "Thank you for the food" and so i did too, We just eat without any words, It was soooo awkward, When we finished the dishes Jake told me he's going to take care of the plates that we use, But i said i can take care of it and i wanted to be a good host for today, So he let go.

We still awkward when i'm in the kitchen and washing the plates, I saw Jake just looking at me while his in the living room when he realize that im looking at him, He looked away and i did too, I continue doing my thing. When i finished it i sit beside Jake and look at him.

Jake - Don't just look at me, Are we dating now? For real?

Miller - Ye-yes?

Jake - Why is there a question mark? Let me tell you, yes i like you, You are cute and handsome too at the same time you just didn't like to take care of your looks thats all, you are a great person an honest peron and -

I closed my eyes and kiss him and that makes him stop talking, Jake look at me with a his gorgious eyes of his, He was shocked when i kiss him. Jake keeps looking at me with a serious eyes and i was the one who is shocked this time because Jake kiss me back fashionatly and it felt so real this time because he is sober.
