"what's this, what am I doing, this is....."

"(I don't think i remember i'm. no I do,I'm)"

"my name is Ryouta Matoi I'm a 16-year-old boy and I've spent almost half my years at this hospital (Akihabara's public hospital), i've become familiar with some patients too and the nurses are really nice like miss yoshino shinoyama, she's a nice lady with a remarkable personality, i kind of have a crush on her, but she's 27 and I'm a minor so i don't think it's gonna work out, but I can't help but wish although I think my love is going to be unrequited forever".

Today was the day Ryouta would finally come home to meet his parents and finally get his youth back, but he still had to come back to the hospital to do some rehab once in a while. The doctors at the hospital never knew what was wrong with Ryouta ,he was in a paralytic state for 7 years of his life, it seemed that all hope was lost until 1 week ago, on the 1st of July 2022 his condition took a turn for the better, and suddenly, he could move his body, he was so shocked, although he had to get used to moving his body again, and today he was to be discharged. On his way home Ryouta thought to himself "i'm really going to live my life without anyone taking care of me again, I'm glad but I'll miss yoshino-San. wait I'm I missing something, oh that's right I have a sister her name is (tears roll down his eyes) her name is.....is…,what's going on I can't remember (screams) her name, i can't remember it "his parents looked at him confused and concerned"Ryouta dear are you okay" Ryouta suddenly comes back to himself "i'm okay mom, just spaced out I just had a feeling I'd want to visit the hospital sometime later, I did have some friends there

"but why are you crying"

"i don't know" he seemed to have forgotten

"are you sure your okay you were screaming a lot" his dad wasn't convinced and then Ryouta said unknowingly "do I have a sister"his mom looked confused "his mom was confused"no, do you want a sister?"

"no, forget it I was just babbling on"

"well okay if you say so

when they got home Ryouta went to his room and searched for something he had kept safe in a box under his bed a few years ago, it was a picture of his sister but as if it were magic her face wasn't visible but at that moment he remembered an event

he had long forgotten it was almost like a dream.

"flashback"

"Ryouta it's okay I'll keep you safe the monsters aren't scary at all, see your big sis will take care of them you go and hide behind the store over there".

"okay sis stay safe ok"

and with a forced smile, she said "I will",but soon after Ryouta peeped and saw his sister being engulfed in a blue light, and he went unconscious when he woke up he had forgotten everything.

(back to the present)

"I remember, I really remember how could I have forgotten her, her name is yui , yes yui-oneesan!. I remember now it was always at the tip of my tongue". He was crying and laughing, but it wasn't because he remembered his sister it was because he realized he was moving around so freely after all this time, he found it amusing but at the same time he felt warmth and relief so he began to cry tears of joy.
