The Golden Era part 2

I don't understand it. I'm carrying this child but, it's not like a truly care for it. All we are trying to do is survive. But, I feel an emotion I've never felt before…why is that?

"What could a god…possible want?" Aten asked himself. He walked towards the deity. The planet had nothing but brown sand on it.

"There no life here. I've never seen or heard of this place-"

"It's because I recently created it. Sit down, Aten. Let us talk." Horus said.

Aten approached carefully. He walked up the small hill and met the god. "You are the first mortal…that shall lay eyes on my face." Horus removed his mask. (The gods…are just like me?)

Horus had a smooth looking face, with perfect white eyes, and had long locs that dropped past his shoulders.

"I want to ask you some questions, Aten. You swear on me that you'll tell the truth and only the truth?"

"Yes, lord. I swear on you…nothing but the truth."

(What is this?)

The gas gave Aten a little smirk and looked up at the sky. "Your master. Would you say he is a reasonable man? Or selfish?"

"No, he is a very kind and not selfish at all."

"I see. Do you…believe we are truly gods? Or just the same?" Horus asked. Aten's ears twitched. "Why ask such a ridiculous-"

"Is it ridiculous? I mean, truly." Horus asked.

"Why would-"

"Why wouldn't?" Horus sighed. He stood up and looked over the giant hill. "I know how you felt. You felt anger and had death on your mind. Being that you were born from…well, nothing but aura, it seems to me that you're different among the rest. This is terrible." Horus sighed.

"But, it could be a blessing. It's not worth it. Screw what the others say! I'm the one who keeps the sky and all!"

Aten's body tensed up. "My lord, what are you-"

"Don't act! I have a special spy watching you since the day of their birth. I know all about what you and your master think of the gods! I wanted to talk but I just can't do it. This is an assassination!"

Aten quikcly got up and pushed himself back.

Horus slammed his hands into the planet. The ground shot out lava as Aten jumped further away.

(A spy? I have a traitor?!) Aten pulled out his sword and slammed it down.

"The greatest enemy of us! The one we all feared would come into this existence!" Horus held out his hand. A thick mist surrounded the area as he slowly approached Aten. The shadow of a long spear appeared in Horus's left hand. "I will be the one…who saves us!" Horus threw the spread at Aten.

Aten crossed his arms to block and used his aura. Aten was suprised to see his aura had completely disappeared. (My power and aura are gone?) Aten dodged the spear.

He turned around to see Horus had disappeared from view. Horus appeared behind Aten. Aten swung his sword but, it was blocked by…air?

"Suprise, child!" Horus yelled. Aten blocked air once again. Aten and Horus both moved throughout the planet at incredible speed.

"It takes a god to kill a god! You my sir…aren't even on the same level as me!" Horus laughed. Aten could feel the air around him thickening. Aten clapped his hands to teleport behind Horus. Horus snapped his finger to push Aten away.

(It's like the sky and air is a hard surface.)

Aten studied the god for a moment. Suddenly, Horus disappeared and reappeared in front of him. Horus landed a powerful strike to Aten, causing him to go past the mountains.

Before Aten could recover. The air felt like a giant wall. He fell foward from the impact and his face met with Horus's powerful legs.

"Sky breaker kick!"

Aten was kicked off of the planet and flung into a nearby moon.

"I don't sense his energy. Is that all?"

A black light crashed down on the planet a few yards in front of Horus. "Not even the start!" Aten laughed.

Horus was surprised. "Why do I get the feeling…something is off?" Horus smirked and shacked it off. "Nah, it's fine. I'll kill you and restor our great race!"

"So, I was right. You so-called gods really do want me dead, huh? Why? There's something you all know that I don't. Who created me?"

"Nothing created you! You're a mistake!!" Horus swung his arms. A deep cut appeared across Aten's chest.

Horus dissapeared once again and punched Aten repeatedly. "Spear!"

His long spear appeared once again. Aten blocked each attack. Horus was starting to overwhelm him completely.

(Damn it!) Aten thought.

"Do you feel it, child? Your death will be quick!" Horus laughed.

"Sky sniper!" Horus slapped his hands across the air. A giant crack appeared in front of Aten and hit him into a nearby hill. Aten jumped up but was stuck in air. Horus held him in place as he landed powerful blows to Aten's body. He grabbed him by the hair and threw him into the sky. "Sky breaker…punch!"

Aten could feel his bones shatter. While in the air, Aten only thought of one thing. "I'll kill you…I'll kill you all!!!" Aten flipped his body and disappeared in thin air.

(What?! Where did he-) Aten punched Horus, knocking the god back. "I will not be defeated by a child! Die!" Horus spun around and threw a punch. Aten took his time and walked out of the way. (He's faster? No, it's not that! This child…he…he's moving like the wind! Did he copy my-)

"You fool!!" Horus jumped back and clapped his hands. Aten stood there and pointed at Horus. "Reverse."

Horus couldn't move his body. Aten jumped towards him and kicked the god in his face. Horus unleashed his invisible air attacks but, Aten dodged them and was still headed towards him.

"This can't be happening!! You are nothing!! You shouldn't even exist!!" Aten ignored him and continued to attack. Horus summoned his spear.

Aten stopped in his tracks and put away his sword. "I'm still figuring this one out." Aten slammed his arms together. "Chaos attack: Eraser."

A black beam shot from his two hands and towards the god. "This spear…will end it!" Horus threw his spear at the blast. His spear collided with it and caused a struggle between the two.

Aten laughed as he knew he had the upper hand. "My power…allows me to copy anyone and anything. Doesn't matter the person or deminsion. Anyone in around…their strength and everyone else gets added to my own power. My master…and I have planned this for a long time. It was about time I got close to everyone of you!" Aten laughed.

(Does that mean…he has attained all of our powers?! And added them?!)

"Silence!!!!" Horus pushed the spear harder into the struggle. "Haha, that's the spirit, you fraud! I know about the gods! I know just how much evil you all have done to hide your true colors! Soon, the entire paradox will know!"

"You idiot of a child. What we do is for the sake…of our people!"

Aten closed his eyes. He could see a pile of dead bodies. "Liar!" Aten gave his beam one final push. It hit the god and cussed a great explosion that rattled the galaxy they where in.

The dust cleared and Aten could see the gods body laying on the ground. Aten picked up his spear and studied it. "Amazing. He knew a fraud like you would be able to get blessings from the maker. I have my theory about me. I know the truth. I am Aten. The TRUE leader and king of our race. The one…and only god…of our people. Created by the one."

Horus lay on the ground and laughed. Most of his body was erased from the blast. "You…finally know. We are gods…boy. So are you. So…are you." Horus chuckled.

Aten held his spear over his head. "Any last words, fraud?"

"Yes. How…how did you possibly think that this was over?"

Aten's eyes widened. A surge of energy plunged into Horus body. Aten jumped back and studied the god.

"YOU ARE THE TRUE RULER OF OUR RACE, YES!! BUT, NO ONE WILL BELIEVE YOU!!! OR GET THE CHANCE TO SEE YOU AGAIN!!!" Horus yelled. His body grew and grew. The entire planet was falling apart. "This is bad. His power was doubled from before!"

Horus's body expanded until he was now looking down at the destroyed planet. "The dark universe is where you belong, boy! I'll gladly send you there!" Horus laughed in in his new deep voice.

Aten looked up in amazement. (I have to get out of here! This…is too much!)

Aten flew off of the planet and tried to escape.

Hours teleported his body in front of Aten and smacked him into a nearby planet. Aten forced his body to stop in space and looked up to see a giant foot coming at him.

His used his aura and surrounded his body with it. "Boost!" His body grew bigger in muscle and he started to move faster through space.

"You think that's enough to run from me?!" Horus shot a beam from his mouth. Destroying everying in its path.

Aten stopped and held out his arms. "There are people on this planet! You wouldn't kill them, Horus!"

"Screw this planet!!" Horus slammed his fist into the planet. The chunks floated across space. Aten used it to hide from Horus's massiveness.

"Horus is the weakest god. I'm lucky….lucky he doesn't have his army with him. I'll have to take out his vision. Then, I'll charge up my big-Bomber attack."

Aten smiled and flew towards Horus. "There you are you maggot!! Horus shot another beam out of his mouth.

Aten flew below it and held out his hand to shoot both of his eyes with a powerful beam of energy.

Horus held his face and yelled in pain. His yell shaked the entire galaxy. "M-my eyes!!! How dare you ruin my eyesight, Aten?! How dare you!!!"

Aten flew above Horus and held his hands above his head. (Me and everyone else has been blind our entire lives. It's time for you to feel the same, Horus!"

(He's charging his energy! I won't let him!!)

"YOU AND THIS UNIVERSE ARE GOOD AS DEAD, ATEN!!!" Horus started to build his energy.

"THIS IS ENOUGH TO WIPE THIS UNIVERSE!!! YOU CANNOT STOP IT!! THIS ATTACK HAS THE WEIGHT OF A UNIVERSE!!"

Aten put his arms down and stopped his attack. "That's nothing. Bring it on, Horus."

Horus was filled with rage. "D-Damn you!! I curse you to hell!!!" Horus unleashed his energy. Aten laughed and held out both of his hands. He could see the shockwave destroying nearby stars and planets.

"That's it!!" Aten held his hands out and made contact with the shockwave. "This…is nothing!" Aten yelled. The universe around him started to collaspe and change.

Aten could feel Horus's power starting to overwhelm him. He used his aura to push back the shockwave.

"This is more than enough!" Aten pushed harder and managed to push Horus's final attack back.

"This…this can't be happening! I'm a god! One of the most powerful beings in the paradox!"

Aten slammed his hands together and started to charge up a powerful black beam. Horus could sense the other god's energy coming from the blast. He could see it…his very own…death.

The beam was getting closer and closer. Horus fell back and could feel the heat from the powerful attack.

"Curse you, Aten! Do you know what you've done?!? You have…you have just started a war!" Horus cried as his body was staring to get evaporated by the beam. "This won't be the end…she is always…watching…" Horus was dead from the attack and his body burnt away.

Aten pulled back and and thought about what Horus said. "She?" He activated the ability and spun around. A few universes away…he locked eyes with Lithra.

Lithra fell back and flew off of the planet. She was now flying towards the golden kingdom. (I must warn both of the kingdoms and the gods!)

Aten managed to catch up to her and kicked her onto a nearby planet. "Lithra, what are you doing?! You planned this?!?" Aten questioned.

Lithra paved herself back and forth. "Yes, it was planned, Aten! It's too late. I'm now sending all of the information to my father. The gods and kingdoms will look at you as nothing but a betrayer. Your finished!" Lithra laughed.

Aten smacked his lips and rubbed his hands through his hair. "You're a parasite! Nothing but a threat to me and my family. All of the gods! You're a threat to our existence, Aten!"

Aten raised his sword and pointed it at Lithra. "You protect false gods! There power is borrowed! They didn't get that strong from being born or hard work. You idiot! I and you both know what those savages have done with that power! I've learned the truth, Lithra! The original king and his two sons died of an family illness at least, that is what your father and the other gods have told. But, I know the truth! The gods killed the old king because he was too much of a believer of the legendary savior. He knew the gods would overthrow him. The ten people that you hate were chosen by a great power! They are gods and you will do as they say, Aten!"

"I'm done talking. I'm going to rip your head from your body." Aten threatened.

"Come on."

Aten ran towards her and swung his sword. Lithra jumped back. "Cancel!" Aten could feel his power leaving his body. (Lithra, a demigod who can cancel your abilities and power. A pain in my ass. She's even stronger than me.)

A huge storm began. As the two fought on the planet. "You have to stop this, Lithra! Don't forget what you're father did to your mother!" Aten yelled.

Lithra dodged all of Aten's attacks with ease and kicked him back. "People like you are nothing! We gods and demigods…can do whatever we want! We can't have a pest like you getting in our way!" Lithra swiped her hands and caused a massive earthquake and broke the planet in half. She pushed herself into space and pointed at Aten. "I'll make this quick. Now, die!"

Aten used all of his strength to fly towards Lithra. "LITHRAAA!!!!!"

A bright light covered the entire atmosphere. Aten was pushed back with great force and the planet was turned to rubble behind him x

A large explosion nearly wiped out the entire universe. Lithra managed to escape her own blast and moved towards the center of the paradox. (We are…free!)

******

Lithra landed in her kingdom. Everyone was staring at her and whispering amongst themselves. Lithra flew towards the king's castle.

The Akie race at the time had two kingdoms and ten gods. Aten he killed Horus so that makes 9. The golden kingdom was ruled by a relative of the first ever king of their race: Amuni. Amuni was the grandson of the first king's first son.

Amuni doesn't know anything about the murder of his father or grandfather. The gods practically raised him. Akies in the golden era aged differentely then what they do today. King Amuni was 28 years old. However, it has taken him 50 years to reach that age for us humans. Akies aged slower.

Lithra kicked open Amuni's door. He was sitting on a very large throne and looked down at his people.

"Nice of you to join me, Lithra. What can I help you with?"

"I've sent my information to the gods. If you must know…the great threat is eliminated." Lithra said with a smirk.

Amuni turned his head to reveal a light-skinned humanoid-like creature. He had a bald head,black eyes,smooth skin that glowed, and a rather large forehead.

"So, it's true what happened to Horus?"

"How do you-"

"I told him, baby girl." A woman whispered into Lithra's ear. Lithra moved her head slightly to the right and locked eyes with the goddess Hathor. Hathor was a normal looking woman with small cow ears.

"We gods already knew the outcome before you even told us. You know we have Osiris and, of course, Seth wasn't happy about the news of Horus' death." Hathor explained.

"I see. I'm assuming Seth wanted to go at war?"

"Well, of course." Hathor laughed. The king rolled his eyes. "That's all good and nice. But, someone must be punished for Aten's actions! Soon, the people will find out about what has happened. They mustn't know a single thing about Aten! My family has kept the return of legendary savior secret! We've heard many stories and legends. Are…you sure you killed him, Lithra?" The king asked with a straight face.

"You would doubt a Demi-god?"

The king sat back on his throne and rubbed his chin. "Very well. We know Aten is getting his beliefs and information from somewhere. We…shall go to his masters home."

Aten floated throughout space and eventually lost in the dark space. "You traitors. All…all of you! Are traitors….I will have my revenge. This…is not the end." Aten passed out. He eventually drifted out of the light paradox. He landed on a unknown planet and crashed down, causing a shockwave.

Aten was beaten and bruised. Aten opened his eyes and looked around to see himself laying in a open field. He could hear a distant roar.

"I'm in the dark universe. That means-"

Before Aten could finish, a giant lion-like creature landed from the sky above and stood over Aten.

Aten didn't move or feel any sense of fear. The lion crouched down and let out a powerful roar. Aten rolled his eyes and laughed. Due to his pain, he passed out.
