Den

Cyril looked around and found that Ward 3 looked more sophisticated compared to Ward 1.

Even though the area was not much bigger than Ward 1, the 'dens' looked more organized and most importantly cleaner.

Cyril felt a slight relief that at least he wouldn't have to live in Ward 1 even if he missed going to his own Ward, which should be Ward 4.

He sighed as he recalled that he couldn't get any points even if he finished his tasks while he was living in Ward 3. He should immediately find a way to get back to Ward 4 or he wouldn't be able to eat anything.

Suddenly he heard a ding from his system.

[Ding

Dear user, you received your monthly allowance according to your Level.

Level 66- received 66000 pts.]

'Woah. So, do I get a monthly allowance as well? That's great.' Cyril smiled foolishly before he couldn't help but slap his face. Why was he celebrating for some monthly allowance?

He was the heir of Carcer Enterprises and yet here he was happily laughing like a fool for some change he got from a stupid system.

Since he couldn't gain any points in the future, he had to live using these 66k points until he received his next allowance.

He had yet to find out what the expenses of living in this prison were. He had to be careful in spending. He was sure of that.

Cyril looked down on himself to find him in a set of low-quality prison clothes. It was nothing but an orange shirt and a black pant. Even though he was not fond of the simple design, he could at least live in these clothes for now. So he decided to buy any clothes later when he was in dire need.

He had already eaten before coming to this ward, so there was no hurry to buy food or beverages.

What he needed the most right now was a place to stay. After looking around, he understood that the concept of roommates here was minimal. Even if there were a few sharing the rooms, they would only because they know each other for long and trust each other.

There is no way one would let an unknown person share the same living space here. No one would trust others easily in such a dark place after all.

In fact, even if someone wants to share a place with Cyril, he would be scared. Who knows who will kill him when he is asleep to steal something from him?

There is no one here he would trust.

So, it is best for him to arrange for his own living space.

-Land-

The system showed different types of land. There were a few lands with small dens to live in and there were a few suitable for planting trees and a few lands suitable for farming. There are also a few barren lands available.

Cyril thought for a second. He felt that since he wouldn't stay in this Ward for long, there was no need to use too many points to buy a good den for him to stay. However, staying in a simple place needs too much labor before it is affordable to stay in.

There is no way he could do all the work to make a living place. He had to think of something else.

He thought for a second before saying -others-

There was a long list of items in the 'others' section. But Cyril did not show any impatience as he read the long list slowly and calmly. Remembering this list would be helpful for him in the long term anyway.

Somewhere in the middle, he found what he wanted.

[Secondhand land]

Cyril smirked and selected the option without any delay.

As expected, there is a long list of already-stayed dens under this option.

Since it was just Ward 3, there was no way the prisoners would stay in the same place for too long. They would do anything to level up as soon as possible and leave this place. So, even though the dens were already used, they were still clean and looked as good as new.

Since these dens were second-hand, the prices were almost as low as half of what he had seen in the previous list. Some were even lower.

Just looking at the price list, Cyril had the thought of jumping and dancing around.

He selected a den that looked the cleanest and cheapest of all. Within a couple of seconds, he was in his new residence.

Unlike many other dens, this one had a door. Since childhood, he respected privacy a lot. He had never once changed his clothes in front of others. How could he live in a place that didn't even have a door?

So, he selected a den that already had a door installed.

There is a small bed and even a small chair inside the den. He was satisfied. He sat on the chair and started to look around the system once again.

-queries-

[What do you want to ask, user?]

-When can I leave this ward and go back to mine?-

[As long as there are no emergencies, the gates to other wards would open once every month.

Does this answer your question, user?

Do you need to know anything else?]

-Nothing else-

'So, the gate will open after a month? Do I have to live in this ward for a month before I start to gain points? No way. I have to think of a way to earn points without getting involved with the tasks.' Thinking like that, Cyril started to look around the system deeper. He checked all the options available and also to find any loopholes he could find in anything at all.

*Knock Knock*

Someone knocked on his door and Cyril was confused. He was sure he knew no one here. Who would come to him? He was a little worried because he didn't know what type of ruffians stayed here.
