- Breakfast

It's Monday morning and I don't know what to do, sensei told me I have training today, but he vanished without giving me further details.

*Where do we meet? When do we meet? * is what I've been asking myself since yesterday.

I wish I could ask Mikami-san, but I can't contact her because I forgot to ask for her number.

I'll just go to school today like I'm supposed to and I'll see what happens next.

I was already late, so I had to skip out on breakfast.

"I should wake Keiichi up, he has work today."

I quietly opened Keiichi's door and turned his light on.

"Keiichi, wake up, you have work today"

Keiichi didn't hear me and kept sleeping.

"Hey, Keiichi! You have to go to work today, so wake up!"

Hiding his face under his blanket to prevent the light from getting in his eyes. He let out some words which weren't understandable

"What?" I said with a loud voice.

"Shaddup and get out of my room." he muttered.

"Just make sure you get up so you can go to work, you're 24 now, you should at least be able to wake up by yourself"

"Okay, I heard you the first time, I won't be late, now get out!"

"Yes, yes, see you later, I'm going to school."

Before leaving the house I quickly checked if I had everything I needed for school.

"Okay, I'm ready for school."

As I opened the front door of my apartment, I saw a familiar, cute girl sitting next to my door as if she had been waiting for me to come out for hours.

"Mikami-san? What are you doing here?"

"I was waiting for you, isn't that obvious you idiot?" She blustered.

"How did you find my apartment?" I said in a shocked voice.

"These days you can find anything you want on the internet."

"Well, yeah, that's true."

She was still sitting there, next to my front door, trying to avoid eye contact with me.

"So, what are you doing here?"

Mikami's cheeks turned red out of embarrassment.

"It's, uh... It's not like I wanted to come, okay?" She said while making a pouting face.

"I just thought I'd come to pick you up so we can go to training together... Considering Sensei never gave you any details." She said in a cute voice that was almost too soft to hear.

*Oh so she can be nice sometimes.*

I also started blushing, not knowing what to say, I just stood there, waiting for her to say something.

"Well anyway, let's go"

"Where are we going? I have to go to school."

"Your whole life will turn upside down now that you're an exorcist in training, you don't have to go to school."

"I don't have to go to school?"

"Yeah, just stop going." She replied

"If only it were that easy to just stop going to school," I mumbled.

"You'll figure something out, Katsumi, so let's go."

"Are we going to that shrine again?"

"Nope, we just went to the shrine for that test, today we're going somewhere else, a place Hirano-sensei asked me to bring you today."

I didn't know what she was talking about and became confused, I'm still hungry because I didn't have breakfast yet.

I guess I can still have breakfast now that I'm not going to school.

"Now that I don't have to go to school, I can take it easy and still have breakfast, right?"

"Ehm, yeah, you can." She said with a confused look on her face.

"Wanna join me for breakfast?"

"I haven't eaten anything today, so sure, I'll join you."

"Okay, Come in!" I said with a smile on my face.

Mikami-san came in and sat on a chair while I was making us breakfast.

While making breakfast my brother also came in with just boxers on. Both Keiichi and Mikami-san turned completely red out of embarrassment.

"P-pervert" she screamed.

Keiichi quickly went back to his room and closed the door.

"That was my brother Keiichi. I'm sorry if he made you feel uncomfortable."

"Oh, uh... It's okay, I'm sorry for calling him a pervert."

Keiichi came back in with his clothes now on.

"Who's that girl?" He asked me

"That's Mikami Chizu, she's a friend of mine"

"Nice to meet you, sorry for coming in so early in the morning." She said, bowing her head.

"Nice to meet you too, Mikami-san, I'm Katsumi's older brother, Saito Keiichi." He said with a proud look on his face.

"Keiichi, I'm making breakfast for me and Mikami, do you also want breakfast?"

"No thanks, I'm leaving early so I can get some coffee with a friend before going to work." He said as he left the house.

"Okay."

Breakfast was ready, I just made a simple rice dish.

I served Mikami, she had a surprised look on her face, making it obvious that she was hungry.

Mikami-san and I ate our breakfast while watching the TV that was turned on in the living room.

"Okay, I'm full now so I'm extra motivated for our training!" She said with a satisfying look on her face as we left the house to go to our agreed destination.
