MOM (Moments of Meeting)

When I found the CEO was Arjun I got shocked.Santhosh gave me the CEO schedule and left the room. Now I and Arjun was alone.He came to me and said ,"I dont thing you'll last for a week.Lets start the work.Whats my morning schedule"

I checked the schedule.I said "Meeting at 10 with BNP baripas . Meeting at 11.30 with Project Manager for the new project "

He then checked the time and said "So you have only one hour to complete the onboarding formalities.After completing your onboarding meet me at Agility"

I asked "where?"

He said,"Contact Reception or security regarding further details.I cannot spoon feed you. Your first task is it to get to know the conference rooms name available here.

Then I asked receptionist what is agility.She said it's the name of conference hall.I completed onboarding in 50 mins. I had 10 minutes to remember all the names of conference rooms and their location.

I reached the meeting at 10 . Meeting was held online as the other side were in france .

Before meeting Arjun said "I want MOM (moments of meeting) after lunch.And it must be computer typed one and not the human written. If you complete this task I'll think of making you as my permanent PA"

The meeting was begin and for first 10 mins people where speaking in English so I was able to take notes easily.

Gradually the other side started speaking in different language and Arjun also started speaking different language.

I couldn't understand a single word. In the middle of meeting he signalled me "Are you noting the points". I said "Yes"

After meeting Arjun said ,"Show me your notes. I want to see how well you listened to the meeting"

I showed it,"He could barely see any notes as I only able to note the conversations which was happening in English"

He laughed and s got angry,"Is this was you take notes of meeting?Why there are no notes of French conversation ?Do you know how important the company's investment for our company. I thought you'll be able to work for a week ,but now I think your first day will be your last day in this office.Ok I'll give you one more chance, if you are able to finish the MOM you can continue the job or else you are no more part of company"

How come she join in my company.Even if she stays with me she'll not understand.Till she realize my love ,I'll never let her in my life.

I purposely shifted the French meeting which is to be held in the afternoon to morning section. For me the meeting was not that important. Its just summary talk with company CEO. We completed the deal yesterday.

I checked my watch, "It was 1.59" and yet she was not coming.I thought,"Aaradhana you are dead"

She came there by 2.01 . To show my authority I told her ," Aaradhana you are late by 1 minute. This should not be repeated again.Every seconds matters for people working in ' Uraa' .Did you complete your two tasks?"

she was standing without any reply.

I thought ,"You are dead Aaradhana"

I scolded ,"You dare to enter my room without completing any of the tasks".

she said,"I completed Arjun...Sorry Sir "

I saw shocked, " Show me the MOM notes then"

she gave me the hard copy of notes she taken. I was shocked as she didn't miss any conversation.I thought,"She doesn't know French,then how come? "

I asked her with questioned face,"If you are able to submit notes now,why didn't I see any of these in your notes that time "

she said,"I didn't take notes that time, because I don't know French"

I said,"They how come your able to do now?"

She said,"Google Translator"

I asked "What?"

She said ,"I recorded the meeting and pasted the audio in Google translator. So I was able to complete the task" making me shocked. Because I didn't see any PA as smart like her.

I said,"You may leave now"

Before leaving she said,"I got to know a the rooms and their locations" shocking me again

I asked how,she said "I checked the ' Where am I ' app during lunch" shocking me again.

As my office is big, I asked my app development team to develop an app for tracking the people current location and their way to next location.

I thought "Technology helped you today.Aaradhana .Will see what will happen in your next task?"
