It was night time but the room of Mo Wen's mother still lit up. There were no electric lights in the mountains, and they only had oil lamps. A small flame flickered in the darkness, illuminating the room.
Mo Wen's mother sat on her bed holding a cup of tea. Her movements were dignified and elegant. She did not seem like a village woman at all.
There was a flash of white light outside the door. The little fox, Xiang'er, entered stealthily and jumped onto the bed. A flash of white light shone from within Xiang'er. Then, something shocking happened. The little fox Xiang'er disappeared, and a beautiful woman materialized inside the room. It was the charming woman Mo Wen had seen by the lake. The woman was Xiang'er!
"Madam, it is indeed that thing. Where did Little Master get this?" Xiang'er handed the eight trigram to Mo Wen's mother with a somber expression on her beautiful face.
