It must be around midnight when the Shield is first breached. Earth's airships have been peppering it with rockets, many exploding on contact with the Shield before they can be launched back at the airships. One of the rockets makes contact with the Shield and the Shield flickers. The rocket passes through, burning, and hits the outskirts of the city, exploding in a ball of flame.

The Earth humans push us back with renewed vigor at the sight of the rocket breaking through the Shield. Healers dart in and out of the Shield, picking up wounded and bringing them into the city to be patched up. If they can continue fighting, they are sent back out, but many are too seriously injured to continue fighting, and even more lay dead on the battlefield, covered in blood and stripped of their weapons.

I am limping slightly from a gash on my thigh, and one on my chest, but I don't go for healing. I keep fighting, soldiers dying at my hands. I unleash all of my anger, my hate at these people for what they have put us through, for killing the people I love, for destroying my home.

I do not hold back.
