The air inside the car was warm yet uncomfortable .

It stopped raining a while ago and they are still in the car.

Both of them had already dried themselves but

Neither of them have talked with each other simply coz if they did it would only lead to a quarrel.

She sighed and unlocked her phone to see a message from her dad.

Dad:Hey princess ,hope you're enjoying your time with your fiance. Don't worry about your mom and me ,we've reached our farm house .Just call me when you reach home.

Love you

Seeing the text from her dad caused her heart to ache.

She needed to tell her parents that she ain't gonna marry this dickhead.

Not in this life.

She locked her phone and turned towards him.

"I'm gonna cancel this marriage" she said

He didn't say anything nor reacted .He was just focusing on the road.

She waited for him to reply .

There was silence for a moment until he opened his mouth to speak.

"Don't" was his only reply .

He didn't even looked at her while replying nor did he change his expression. Cold as ever.

She gave him an 'r u fucking serious' look

"Don't?What the heck Jeon Seojun. You said this marriage is just a show coz your dad is forcing you. If I cancel this marriage then things won't become complicated. I'll live happily and so will you with your girlfriend."

She said raising her voice. The last sentence did hurt her but she was strong .She won't break down not in front of him.

Him:"......."

His silence was making her more angry .

"You know what I'm gonna do it . I don't care about your 'Don't' "

She said sitting straight and facing the front .

Why does he always has to get on her nerves ?

This man is just impossible. She thought

Not long after that ,they had already reached her farm house .It was specifically bought by her parents in order to stay till her marriage.

Seeing the house caused her pain for the nth time that day .

She unbuckled her seatbelt ,took her purse and came out of the car completely ignoring him.

"Not even a thank you , where are your manners Miss Manoban ?" He said but she just ignored it.

As she was walking towards the farm house ,he grabbed her hand pulling her into a sudden hug .

She was standing still , dumbfounded.

She didn't know what to do or how to react , she was blank for a moment.

After she came back to her senses,the first thought that came to her mind was

Get this dickhead off you Ava.

Just as she was ready to push him .

She heard her mom's squealing and her dad's chuckle.

He broke the hug and intertwined their hands.

Which she didn't give much attention as she was stunned to see her parents seeing them hug and get a wrong perception just because of this dickhead

"Oh so sorry to disturb you lovebirds. Princess you should have warned us . Otherwise we wouldn't have spoiled both of your moment." Her dad said while smiling

"No-" she tried to protest but he cut her words.

"No need for apologizing uncle. I was just giving a Goodbye hug to Ava" He said while looking at her and smiling ,oh how fake that smile was she thought.

"I guess both of you are getting really along with each other " Her mom said while looking at their intertwined hands.

She shook her head as a NO.

But he tightened his hold

And replied to her mom with a nod

"But now its getting late so you'll have to let go of her . " Her dad said with a chuckle

He ,at last let go of her hands .

"I'll get going now.

Good night uncle and aunty .

It was very pleasant to meet you" he said while bowing to them.

He then turned towards her and smiled at her

"Good night Ava" he said and patted her head .

She was internally cursing at him as she can't say anything to him right now as her parents were still there.

After he left , her parents showered her with lots of questions which she didn't replied and gave an excuse that she was exhausted and needed rest which wasn't entirely false as she was really tired.

Her Parents thought that she might be getting shy so didn't force her and told her to rest. As tomorrow was the day to buy the engagement rings which meant that she had to see that dickhead tomorrow too.

She went to her room ,took a warm bath and wore her bunny pyjama and plopped in her bed.

She was way too exhausted.

She closed her eyes but got frustrated as she thought of him hugging her .

"Ugh" she sat straight on her bed in annoyance.

How dare he play that dirty trick in front of her parents.

Now she can't even tell her parents that she doesn't want this marriage.

Seeing that act by that dickhead made her parents think that she was happy .

Which she was not.

It has now become almost impossible for her to talk to her parents about this matter.

She sighed and plopped on the bed .

What is she gonna do now?

Marrying him just isn't fine for her yet that was the only option left.

Should I run?WTF Ava where will you run?

She regretted not listening to Bella's advice.

Just as she was battling with herself her phoned beeped.

She unlocked her phone to see that a text came.

It was from an unknown number .

Unknown: hi Ava

This is your fiance. Hope you had a great time with me. Just wanted to say that I'll pick you up tomorrow at 10am so be ready .And don't even think of blocking me coz I got your number from your dad ☺️.

She scoffed ,was he blackmailing her? Definitely

She locked her phone and kept it on the table right next to the lamp.

"You want this marriage huh? See how I'll ruin your life Jeon Seojun."
