Chapter 168: Meeting Old Cui’s granddaughters

The two of them chat about the pets as they head to the sock's shop to pick up the stuff. TongTong is not with them so they also badmouth her. TongTong joined Zhang Yong's team, Bai Yi Yang went to shop for things that TongTong is not interested in, so it decided to follow Zhang Yong and the two kids.

It was also Zhang Yong idea to bring TongTong inside a pet carrier backpack. It is fine to let TongTong out in the open outdoor, but it's not a good idea when it is inside place like shopping mall. TongTong is a kitten, so it's not a problem to put her inside a small pet carrier backpack and let Bai Yi Mo wear it. This way, TongTong can also follow them inside the mall. TongTong wasn't that happy, but it hasn't seen inside the mall before, so it is a bit curious.

When they all met up, Bai Yi Yang saw the two big bags of toys next to Zhang Yong. The two children looks happy as they ate ice cream cone.

"Did you have fun hanging out with Big brother Zhang?" Bai Yi Yang ask her two siblings.

The two immediately nod and went on and on about what they did. Bai Yi Yang listen attentively to them as they wait for Bai Yi Ling and Zhou Zhu Yao. They enter a famous shop, so now they are still waiting for their turn to pay. Bai Yi Yang told them to take their time.

"Yang Yang, do you want me to buy you some more of the cheese tart?" Bai Yi Chen said. He knows that Bai Yi Yang loves tart, they need to buy stuff, what more they will have dinner after this, so she didn't eat much.

"Yeah.." Bai Yi Yang grinned happily.

"Thanks ge." Bai Yi Yang said. Bai Yi Chen nod, put down the stuff in his hand and walk to the dessert shop direction. Now, only the four of them are left. Bai Yi Yang chat with Zhang Yong and let her siblings eat their ice cream.

When everyone is gathered there, they all loaded their stuff inside the spacious trunk and they all head to Old man Cui house. Bai Yi Yang made a call when they are nearby, it was Grandma Cui who picked up the phone, she said that the old man left his phone in the kitchen. Not long after that, Old man Cui talked on the phone, seems like there are other people inside the house too.

When they arrived, the gate is opened and there are two additional cars in front of the house. A young man come out of the house with Old man Cui when they arrived. Old man Cui seems more enthusiastic today, his smile is much brighter than usual.

Just when Bai Yi Yang and her siblings step out of the car, a young woman also come out. She have a small smile on her face, she is wearing a female suit, she is the charismatic beauty type. She stand next to the young man wearing a spectacles as Old man Cui introduce them to each other.

"Yi Yang, this is my eldest granddaughter Natalie and her husband Mr.Lin. And this is Yi Yang and her siblings that I talked about." Old man Cui said. Both side say hello to each other. That Mr.Lin seems to recognise Zhang Yong so they smile and nod with each other.

Old man Cui immediately invite them inside and talked with Bai Yi Yang along the way.

"My other granddaughter is also inside, she is in the kitchen with her grandmother. That young man is from Zhang family?" Old man Cui said to her.

"I see. I will say hello later. He is, his name is Zhang Yong." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Good, good, good. Looks promising." Old man Cui laugh.

When they all enter and got seated, they introduce themselves once again. Old man Cui eldest granddaughter just look a bit scary, but she is actually quite soft spoken. She even invite the children to sit with her. She seems to like children a lot. After talking with her for a while, the children doesn't feel awkward anymore.

Old man Cui and the rest also chat with the rest. Bai Yi Chen is usually quite and only talk a few words, Old man Cui is used to it. Zhou Zhu Yao is quite outgoing, don't say about Zhang Yong, it's like he is in his own house now. Mr.Lin is also a bit quiet, he will only talk a few words when asked, it is usually Zhang Yong who ask him these and that. Bai Yi Yang head to the kitchen not long after that, she wanted to help with the food preparation.

"Aiyoo.. Yatou, you are here. Come over quickly and replace my useless granddaughter.." Grandma Cui said when she saw her. Bai Yi Yang laugh and greet her, she also said hi to the beautiful young lady who is now cutting the onion.

"Grandma.." The young lady grumble when her grandmother complained about her. Grandma Cui laugh and caress her head.

"Hello, I am Mia. You must me Yi Yang right? My grandparents talked a lot about you." Mia said. Mia is a pretty princess, she is wearing stylish outfits with curly hair put into a ponytail. Her bubbly character and amazing background make her a bit similar to Bai Yi Fang in the other world.

"Hello." Bai Yi Yang shake hand with her.

"Since you all come last time, I have always wanted to see you. You are really pretty." Mia praise Bai Yi Yang. In terms of facial features, Bai Yi Yang can be considered prettier but Mia is a very charming young lady, she is the adorable type.

"I also heard about you from Grandpa and Grandma Cui. I have never seen an idol before." Bai Yi Yang feels like she need to match Mia's enthusiasm. She is very kind to her, so she should also return the same kindness.

"They also tell you about that? That's embarrassing. Come, sit down." Mia said as she pull Bai Yi Yang to sit next to her. She already abandoned the onion that she was working on.

Mia is an idol trainee, she already debuted once but her group is not that successful. Last time, the old couple told her about Mia's group album.

"They are just proud of you. You dance very well." Bai Yi Yang said. Indeed, Mia's dancing is really quite good. She is in charge of dance in her group.

Mia laugh at this. She don't dare to boast about other things but her dancing is not bad. Actually, she learned ballet when she was young, but she wasn't able to go far. Then, she start learning dancing and joined an entertainment company. It's just that her group is not very famous.

The two girls talked for a while, it was about Mia at first but then it shifted to Bai Yi Yang. They click very well, they even exchanged contact numbers.

"So, it was you and your twin who handle the orchard?" Mia ask. She found out from her grandparents that Bai Yi Yang do business. The fruits from Natural Grocery came from Bai Yi Yang's orchard. She also knows that they are orphans.

"Yes." Bai Yi Yang nod.

"That's amazing. If I have your ability, my dad would have a 100 days and night celebration for me." Mia said. Bai Yi Yang laugh.

"In my family, my eldest sister is the only reliable one. My older brother can't even hold umbrella for your elder brother, once she graduated high school, he ran to Country A to pursue his passion, leaving us sisters here to take the burden of business. Tsk tsk tsk." Mia said.

"What burden are you talking about? It's your eldest sister alone." Grandma Cui cut in. Mia face palm and Bai Yi Yang giggles. By this time, she already understand Mia's character and her relationship with her grandmother. Grandma Cui will find any opportunity to tease her youngest granddaughter.

"Grandma, can't you let me show off to Yi Yang for a second?" Mia said to her grandmother.

Because Bai Yi Yang is busy talking with Mia, she only can help a bit in dinner preparation. At 8.30 pm, they start their sumptuous dinner. Bai Yi Yang look at her younger siblings who is now taken care off by Natalie. She glance at Bai Yi Chen but Bai Yi Chen doesn't seems to understand her stare.

After dinner, Natalie arrange the children to watch TV, she even enter the kitchen to personally cut fruits for them. Natalie is actually a few years younger than Zhou Zhu Yao, but the children call her aunt while Zhou Zhu Yao is a jiejie.

When the rest is talking in the living room, Mia bring Bai Yi Yang upstairs to her bedroom in the Cui residence. She and Bai Yi Yang has 2 years age difference but they don't have problem communicating, they get along very well.

"My eldest sister had a miscarriage during her first pregnancy, after that she doesn't dare to get pregnant again. She has always like children so I hope you don't mind her getting close to your younger siblings." Mia said.

"En, I don't mind." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Thanks. My eldest sister is pitiful, she looks fierce and strict on the outside so children doesn't usually approach her. Your younger siblings is sensible, I see that they get close easily to my sister." Mia smile lightly.

"They are just naughty and don't fear anything." Bai Yi Yang answer. She feels a bit of sympathy to Natalie. No wonder she have a tender spot towards her siblings. Well, this is also good, they won't go wild if there is someone watching over them.

Mia and Bai Yi Yang just hang around inside the bedroom. They share about things that they like, food ah, accessories, clothing styles and so on. Bai Yi Yang also take interest in these things nowadays, so she knows a lot. As for TongTong, it is already asleep at a corner of Mia's bed. It is bored so it fell asleep.

"Your twin is really good looking. The two of you can become idol, don't you want to try it out?" Mia said. Their conversation has come to this now.

"No, I have other things in my mind." Bai Yi Yang said.

"What a pity." Mia said. Bai Yi Yang laugh and proceed to ask about her career. The fun thing ah, the disadvantages, jobs and so on. Bai Yi Fang once said that she is interested, so Bai Yi Yang can ask in advance.

Mia told her a lot of things, she said, the entertainment circle is actually not that bad, there are some bad people who take advantage of girls but as long as the artist herself doesn't want to do that kind of stuff, it won't happen.

Some people wanted an instant success so they stoop low, willing to do anything to be successful. Mia is different, she really loves dancing, she became an idol because that way she can continue to perform and dance. So, even though her group is not popular, she didn't seek help from her family, what more thinking about doing that kind of stuff.

So, the key is actually patience and hard work. As long as you are willing to work hard and be patient, being in the entertainment circle is not that bad. Bai Yi Yang also agree, suddenly, she thinks that letting Bai Yi Fang enter the entertainment circle is doable. If she didn't become successful soon, it's not like she cannot support her youngest sister.

They only come down when it was 10.00 pm and finally joined the other's conversation. Old man Cui feels aggrieved towards his granddaughter, he actually wanted to chat with Bai Yi Yang about his recent fishing trip but Bai Yi Yang was taken away.

Old man Cui fishing habit is much more better now, he didn't go out to the big sea again, he will only go find somewhere to fish with his buddies once in a while. This makes Grandma Cui become much happier, she wasn't that lonely anymore. These days, it was the old man who stay at home more, Grandma Cui is much more busy socialising than him.

Bai Yi Yang group finally get up at 10.30 pm. They need to return now since the children need to sleep. Mia is reluctant to separate with Bai Yi Yang while Natalie is reluctant to separate with the children. She likes them so much, Bai Yi Ling can talk to her and the two smaller one is very adorable. If can, she wanted to suggest them staying the night here, it's not like they don't have bedrooms. But of course that cannot do that.

Bai Yi Yang and the rest leave finally leave the house. The old couple weren't as sad as last time because there are people who will accompany them. So everyone separated with good feelings, except for Natalie. She stuffed a few good snacks inside Bai Yi Fang's backpack and keep reminding them to brush their teeth after having it. The children said thank you to her and even hug her goodbye. She feels like an old mother.
