Chapter 150: Like a new house

Bai Yi Yang grinned as she look around and took her camera, she quickly turn on all the lamps and took pictures of all the bedrooms, the living room, kitchen and their courtyard. She was smiling happily when her siblings returned.

"Jie, it's done?!" They asked. The two children run to the living room and look around the strange interior, they almost can't believe that this is their house now.

"Our house is so beautiful." Both of them look around. But since they just returned from the farm, they only look and didn't dare touch.

"Take a bath, after this you can look at your bedroom too." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Okay!" The shout and enter the bathroom. Bai Yi Yang let them take a bath on their own. Since they are excited to see the rooms, they seriously take a bath and run with towel around them to enter Bai Yi Yang's bedroom to wear clothes.

"Jiejie, your bedroom looks so different. Its like a hotel room." Bai Yi Fang said as Bai Yi Yang help dry her hair.

"Exactly ah." Bai Yi Yang said.

After helping them changing clothes, Bai Yi Yang bring them to look at Bai Yi Fang's bedroom first. Bai Yi Fang was so excited, she ran around the bedroom and immediately lie on the bed with Bai Yi Mo. Bai Yi Chen who also took his shower has also joined them to look around, not sure since when did he appear.

"Ge, you saw your bedroom?" Bai Yi Yang ask as she waited for the children to look around Bai Yi Fang room.

"En. I like it." Bai Yi Chen said.

"Good. I purposely said not to add too much, you can add anything you see fit in the future." Bai Yi Yang grinned. Bai Yi Chen smile back and nod..

After spending 10 minutes in Bai Yi Fang's bedroom, they go to Bai Yi Mo's bedroom. This time, it was Bai Yi Mo who go wild, he climb to the second bunk with Bai Yi Fang. Bai Yi Yang let them play on their own and return to the living room. She just remind them to be careful while playing on the second bunk, it's still quite high. She design it with railing but just in case they go too wild playing.

"Don't forget to close the door later." Bai Yi Yang remind them again.

"Yes." They answered then continue playing at the second bunk.

"Our house..it's very nice." Bai Yi Chen lean back on the comfortable sofa.

"I like it too. I have always wanted all of us living comfortable like this." Bai Yi Yang said, leaning back too. She look around, the more she look the more she like it.

"Finishing a big project like this, don't you feel empty?" Bai Yi Chen suddenly ask. Bai Yi Yang laugh lightly hearing this.

"No. In the future. There will be many things to do. Ge, the wall of our house, we still need to clean it and repaint it again." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Then, I wanted to build a storage house near our vegetables farm. Garage to put our bicycles and vehicles in the future. Expand the vegetables farm. There is so many things to be done. What more, I will take it easy after this, I will play around, we can go on vacations during holidays. It was a bit rushed this time for our own comfort, but the rest of the things in the future, we can take it easy." Bai Yi Yang said. Of course she won't be able to control this, but she will try to take things more slowly next time.

"En, we take it easy, living slowly like this is also good. Yang Yang, I really never dream of this kind of life after we lose our parents. I never thought that we will have happy days like nowadays and I can finally move on." Bai Yi Chen said as he stare at the ceiling.

"Same with me. I also never dream this kind of life." Bai Yi Yang agree. She was living like a robot. Go to the research institute, then return late at night, sleep and woke up again to the same routine. She rarely have day off, and she only stay at home to read more. But now, she found that life is so fun. There are so many things to do, so many fun places to go, endless delicious food to taste. She enjoyed this life so much.

Bai Yi Chen and Bai Yi Yang stop chatting when it was 12.15 pm. Bai Yi Chen need to fetch Bai Yi Ling from the village bus stop and Bai Yi Yang need to cook lunch.

For lunch, Bai Yi Yang is going to cook stir fry scallop and mixed vegetable, blanched broccoli with oyster sauce, and lastly, hot and sour soup. Bai Yi Yang is not sure if her siblings will like the soup, she doesn't really like this, so she never cooked this before.

Bai Yi Yang chat with TongTong as she cook. After taking a comfortable nap, TongTong is hungry now. So it is rushing Bai Yi Yang to cook lunch faster.

'Want some ice cream? The food won't be finished in another 20 minutes or so.' Bai Yi Yang said.

'I want real food..ice cream for later..' TongTong roll around and play with the transparent decorative bowl filled with gold, white and clear marbles and also some dried plants. TongTong can't talk to the dried plants so it is a bit bored. How good it is if they are filled with small fish or something.

'Host..can we add fish into this decorative bowl instead?' TongTong ask.

'Too troublesome, we need to clean the water, feed it and so on.' Bai Yi Yang said.

'That's correct too. Even the two dogs is too troublesome to teach.' TongTong sigh. TongTong is their trainer aka fake mother, so of course it understand the difficulty of raising pets.

"Right, they haven't been vaccinated. They are this big now, should be okay to be vaccinated." Bai Yi Yang said out loud. She forgot about this, what should she do, do they do home visit for puppies too? They don't have transport, it is very hard to go to town.

"TongTong, you need vaccine too. Fang Fang and Xiao Mo may have not completed their vaccination too. How can I forget about this. When gege return, I need to ask about this." Bai Yi Yang said. She panicked a bit, how can she forget details like this?

'I don't want!' TongTong fur stood up.

"What don't want, you need to." Bai Yi Yang said.

'Host, you are bad..wuu..wuu..' TongTong said this and run to the East house to complain to Fang Fang and Xiao Mo who just laugh for its continuous meowing.

Just wait, see how the two of them can still laugh when they found out that they still need to be poke by needles later. TongTong hold a grudge against the two kids who dare to laugh at it.

Bai Yi Yang let it be, the laughter in Bai Yi Mo bedroom is getting louder after TongTong arrived there. The children must be laughing at TongTong now.

When Bai Yi Chen and Bai Yi Ling return, the two children bought Bai Yi Ling to look at her bedroom. The children loves the cozy feeling and roll over the soft and fluffy carpet, messing up the plushies at the reading corner.

"You two…!" Bai Yi Ling scolding voice can be heard to the kitchen and not long after that, the two children run to the kitchen to seek shelter from their oldest sister.

"Jie, we are hungry!" Bai Yi Mo said when they enter the kitchen.

"Wait for a while, you two sit down and calm down. Later in the evening, you will have a lot of things to do." Bai Yi Yang said. They still need to sort out their stuff and put it inside their respective room. It was piled at one corner in the living room, including the extra bedsheets, new bedsheet, clothing and so on into their own cupboard.

Other than that, they also need to sort out the stuff in the storage room. Bai Yi Yang plan to make the storage room into a clean one, somewhere that they can put their luggage, extra mattress, extra pillows, things like this. As for the farming tools and other things, Bai Yi Yang wanted to build a separate storage house at their vegetables farm.

"Okay, we will help." Bai Yi Mo agree.

The Bai siblings had their lunch. The hot and sour soup received a mixed reaction, after one bite, the siblings didn't really like it. But the taste was addicting, so Bai Yi Yang is the only one who still didn't like it in the end. Her siblings actually love it, something thatBai Yi Yang don't really understand.

"Jie, you don't like it, then why did you cook it?" Bai Yi Ling ask.

"Because it's quite famous. So I guess some of you may like it." Bai Yi Yang said.

"I can't understand you sometimes jie." Bai Yi Mo said. Bai Yi Yang laugh and brush it off.

After lunch, the siblings go to the living room and lay on the carpet in front of the television. Other than TongTong who sleep on it's exclusive bed, the rest of the siblings still lie or sit on the floor. The sofa is there but seems like they love the floor more. The carpet is also very comfortable.

Bai Yi Yang saw that her siblings is in a good mood, especially the two small one, so she didn't bring up the vaccination issue yet. Wait until they calm down a bit at night.

"Ge, now that our house is finished, I was thinking about hiring cleaning company to deep clean the house maybe once a month. As for the rest, we can do our own cleaning. What do you say?" Bai Yi Yang ask.

"Hiring cleaning company? Yang Yang, your way of thinking is a bit like those who own big house in the city. Do we need to do that?" Bai Yi Chen ask.

"Of course we need. Listen, if we wanted to clean the house meticulously, it's not only about sweeping the floor or wipe the window, we need to pay attention to every nook and cranny. What more now we have many carpets and furniture, it will take a lot of time. Us siblings need to do it for the whole day." Bai Yi Yang said.

"En, what you said is right. How about once in every 3 or 4 month. Deep cleaning service is not cheap, as for the rest, we can do our own cleaning." Bai Yi Chen said.

"Alright, we do it like that." Bai Yi Yang think and agree.

Deep cleaning service average price is 2,500-3,000 yuan, maybe more expensive since their house is quite big. However the service is usually very good too, it covers all area in the house. Take the kitchen for example, not only the floor and countertop, they will also clean inside the cabinet, under and behind electronics appliances, inside the fridge and so on. Basically, deep cleaning service is something that clean inside and out and every corner, it requires professional so it is quite an expensive service.

After the short chat, Bai Yi Yang and her siblings fall asleep on the floor while watching TV, Bai Yi Chen who sleep the last turn off the TV before joining the rest taking nap.

Bai Yi Yang woke up at 2.30 pm, Bai Yi Ling is already awake, sitting on the sofa with her phone. Bai Yi Yang didn't directly woke up and stay lying down while browsing through social media, she feels a bit free now so she also lazy around.

Only when everyone woke up did Bai Yi Yang start doing the organising. Their house clothings can be folded but their new and pretty clothes need to be hanged on the hanger. After sorting them out, Bai Yi Yang brief her siblings about their wardrobe, where to put casual clothes or new clothes, then where to put underwear and stockings, they can't mess up their cupboard. They also need to be responsible with their own bedroom from now on, if it is messy then nobody will help them clean up.

"Okay, understand." All of them answer.

After sorting out the clothes, Bai Yi Yang bring them to clean up the storage room. The storage room is a bit messy, they have clean it up before but it has been a while since that. This time, Bai Yi Yang wanted to clean it properly. After taking out all the things inside, Bai Yi Yang and her siblings sweep the floor, clean the wall and after making sure that it is clean enough, Bai Yi Yang decided to divide it into two side, one side for the farming tools, basket and unused canvas. The other side is to place the extra mattress and pillows and also their luggage.

Just like that, the storage room is now organised. The old dinner table is place in the storage room and the new unused spare mattress are placed on top of it. As long as the plastic wrapping on it is not damaged, then thee won't be any problem. The spare single mattress that Bai Yi Yang bought is the foldable type, so they have their own case. After that, Bai Yi Yang covered them with old blanket to avoid dust from accumulating.

"Done." Bai Yi Yang come out of the storage room. She let the door open for now to air the room. There is no widow for the storage room.

"Our house feels like a new house now." Bai Yi Mo run around the central courtyard with the puppies.

Bai Yi Yang nod. Looking around the house again, other than the old looking wooden wall, everything is almost perfect. She can finally take a breather and take everything easy.
