The Fight on the Brooklyn Bridge 1

"Peter, go to Gwen's house, she needs you, calm her down and tell her you will stay by her side," Jack said, saddened by what had happened.

As soon as Peter left, Jack thought for a while and decided to leave one of his clones with Gwen and another with Norman Osborn. Jack wasn't sure if the same thing that happened in the comics could happen here, as with Jack's help, Green Goblin didn't know that Peter Parker was Spider-Man.

Jack was also certain that, unlike in the comics, Gwen and Norman Osborn did not have an affair, they did not have any secret children, and thus, the Green Goblin had no reason to kidnap Gwen.

But the death of Captain Stacy showed Jack that the fate of the Marvel Universe seemed to correct itself according to what the comic book and movie writers had written, just like Ivan Vanko, who still attacked Tony Stark even though he had not revealed himself as Iron Man and had not gone to Monaco.

In reality, Jack knew that he only had the freedom to intervene because this universe was closed, so he didn't have to worry about the TVA, otherwise, he would probably have to face the TVA from time to time.

So, in the following weeks, Jack continued to train and fight against criminals. Spider-Man wanted to deal with Doctor Octopus, but just like in the comics, Doctor Octopus was running the world of crime and was close to Aunt May.

Jack thought that since Peter Parker resembled Tobey Maguire, Spider-Man would resemble the one from the first three movies, but it seemed that this Peter was a mixture of those three movies and the comic book story.

Fortunately, as the timeline was different and Jack helped Peter, many annoying things that happened in the comics did not happen in this universe, such as Peter never having to leave New York.

Since Spider-Man wasn't fighting Doctor Octopus when Captain Stacy died, Gwen wasn't angry at Spider-Man and didn't try to leave New York, but just like in the comics, she was starting to pressure Peter to propose to her.

"After all, they loved each other and had been together for over 2 years. Now Peter had a great job at Jack's laboratory and no longer had problems with his grades. Additionally, after the death of Captain Stacy, Gwen had no more father or mother.

Peter said he wanted to tell Gwen he was Spider-Man before marrying her. Jack agreed and encouraged Peter. After all, Jack currently knew great spells to erase other people's memories if something went wrong.

So, the problem was that Peter currently did not have the courage to tell Gwen the truth. Jack gave him small pieces of advice and did not want to interfere in their lives. Unlike the comics, Jack wanted to help Peter be happy and not have to worry about having a sad and poor story to sell more comics.

Jack was also preparing something else in another house he bought in New York. It was something he had been preparing for the past few years a magical prison like the one he had created with Stephen in the fight against the Sinister Six.

Jack bought an old house in a hidden place in New York and destroyed most of the walls, keeping only the space to create 12 magical prison cells. In addition to being magical, the prison was also involved with technology.

It was a prototype of the magical prison that Jack's laboratory was creating for villains. It couldn't imprison people like Sandman or people with special powers, but it was enough to deal with people who couldn't change shape.

Jack planned to use this prison for some dangerous villains who couldn't be sent to regular prisons, especially for villains who could be cured. For those who were evil and crazy without disease, Jack thought about simply killing them.

In this house that turned into a prison, Jack put sound insulation on the walls and ceiling. So, without invading the house that had an iron door with several locks, no one would know that there were villains imprisoned inside."

The first people on Jack's list for this prison were Doctor Octopus and the Green Goblin. Nobody else knew about this prison, Jack didn't want to be caught for doing it. After all, it was against the law and could be considered private imprisonment.

As weeks passed, Jack's fear came true. Jack saw through his clone that Norman Osborn had become the Green Goblin again. It seemed that he had really lost his memory for some reason and had not disturbed Jack and Peter in these last years.

Jack knew it was time to arrest the Green Goblin, but to avoid problems, it was better to wait for him to commit a crime first before Jack could appear and put him in the magic prison.

Thus, Jack's clone followed the Green Goblin. After following him with some difficulty using the Chakra, Jack's clone realized that the Green Goblin was approaching his other clone. The Green Goblin was going to Gwen Stacy's house.

Jack was shocked by this. As he suspected, it seemed that destiny had to follow in some way, even if it didn't make sense. After all, the Green Goblin didn't know that Peter Parker was Spider-Man.

Even if the Green Goblin wanted to lure Spider-Man into a trap, he could have kidnapped anyone in New York, but he chose Gwen Stacy. Jack's clones connected mentally and told Jack what was happening.

Soon, the Green Goblin invaded Gwen's house and kidnapped her, saying that he wanted to lure Spider-Man to kill him. He sedated her and took her out the window and headed towards the Brooklyn Bridge.

Jack's clones followed the Green Goblin. They had to make sure that the Green Goblin didn't try to kill Gwen. If he did, they would try to fight him until Jack and Spider-Man arrived. Meanwhile, Jack went to Peter to tell him what was happening.

"Peter, the Green Goblin has kidnapped Gwen Stacy. They seem to be heading towards the Brooklyn Bridge," Jack said.

"What? Let's go there right away. If the Green Goblin hurts Gwen, I'll kill him," Peter said, putting on his Spider-Man suit and leaving with Jack.
