Baby Alchemist and perfection

The amount I spent was quite a bit, but I earned a lot of Gu points. The 3.2k in my account speaks for itself. I will revive Guts, but I need to first perfect my body.

Still, seeing the sad expression of my now 1/5 full primeval elder Gu is quite depressing. Oh, there is also another drawback.

I want my brother to use the Beast Bundle Gu, but He can't exactly summon his aura perfectly. He can summon a random aura using his instincts, so we need to cleanse his body of the two lower-rank boar Strength Gus and then use the Beast Bundle Gu.

I already have a plan for that, but that involves the war begining, which still hasn't happened yet! Why?! The Gu Yue clan is dying, why aren't they making a move yet?

The most likely answer is the wolf tide. Xiong clan gets hit the hardest by the wolf tides, so the elders must be waiting for it to be besieged by wolves before making a move, so they can minimise losses.

The compensations for missions have been slowly becoming less and less, which sucks for most, but is a good enough excuse for me to stop doing the missions. That is also part of the plan, as my cultivation will bottom out and I need seclusion. Speaking of cultivation.

The five of them have become quite a bit smarter and even understand some of what I say. The smartest one is Gong Zhu Vier, so he was appointed leader.

"Gong Zhu Vier, step forward!" The boar did exactly what I told him and stepped forward. I nodded my head and said "Good! From this day on you are the new leader of the Gong Zhu squad and I will bestow upon you strength!" He didn't understand everything I said, but he got the gist of it. Well, he knew I was going to make him stronger and the pack leader.

I helped them all cultivate the rank 3 strength-a-ten-thunder-boar beast bundle Gu and their capabilities went through the roof! Each cultivation session takes 20 minutes and they all get strength equal to 2% of the total over fifty days. Basically 100% of a boar's strength each cultivation session and some lightning element power as well. Ya, imagine a squad of 5 boars with the strength of 51 each charging at you with thunderous(quite literally) roars. That is some crazy shit right there!

And that is the basic premise of the new Gong Zhu squad! These guys have been our pets for half a year already and are extra loyal. Even though half of the original bunch died, they still stayed with us and stayed loyal.

Let's hope they don't betray us and become like thousand beast kings or something. Also, just a quick tip, filling up a rank 2 beast bundle makes it evolve into a rank 3 Gu worm called strength-a-ten-(type)-boar beast bundle Gu. So it's food requirements go through the roof! Good thing I can support it with the income from my strength cultivation hall.

That was me introducing to the Gong Zhu squad. Now, it is time for the main event! I looked My brother in the eye as soon as Gong Zhu Funf finished cultivating her strength(we have 2 guys and 3 girls left). He looked at me and said "What's the matter?"

I sighed and said "Brother, we have lived together for a long time and I am 100% sure you have noticed some inconsistencies in my Gu worms. Where did I get all the Gu worms like bone restructuring Gu or my vital Gu or this beast bundle Gu. I appreciate you not prying into this and asking me questions, but I think it is time I come clean to you!"

I took a big breath and breathed out. My explanation for my system is going to be complicated, but I think I can manage and explain what I think about it perfectly

"I have a secret Gu worm I have never told you about. It's name is not one I know of, but I decided to call it Baby Alchemist Gu. It is an extremely powerful Gu, that has taken a liking to me and has been helping me since childhood.

It has only 1 ability, an ability I like to call "Law of equivalent exchange". It is an extremely powerful ability and worthless at the same time. The ability is to turn Gu worms into energy and then use the accumulated energy to create new Gu worms." My brother's eyes lit up when I explained the ability.

To be honest, I think my explanation is quite plausible. I have done some research on this system of mine and truly believe it is some kind of refinement path Gu. It functions on the law of equivalent exchange, but the prices are quite different, so I named it baby alchemist, as it's skills aren't perfect enough to complete a fully equivalent exchange.

The amount of Dao makrs(Gu points) lost is 50%, so the cost of creating(buying) a Gu is 3 times greater than what is gained from deconstructing (selling). That is a constant trend I have noticed in nearly all Gu worms on the shop!

"It can create any Gu worm I can imagine and is the strongest refining assistance Gu, henceforth the name alchemist. It can refine Gus with an almost 100% guarantee. Any Gu can be refined with such a high success chance. This is how I have been able to acquire the Gu worms you and I possess.

One of the Gu worms I can create is named Fate Flipped Upside Down Gu. It's ability is to completely flip the talent of a person's aperture. 5 to 95 55 to 45 and 0 to 100, but the condition to using it is not being under the influence of fate."

He nodded his head and finished my sentence for me "Now I understand why you insisted on the significance of the aperture awakening! So, you are gonna use the stone aperture Gu to completely empty out your talent and then increase it to 100%, but the adverse effects coming into contact with each other will cause you harm and you need me to protect you. Am I correct?" I nodded my head and said "I can't hide anything from you, can I?"

Chun Jack patted my shoulder and said "Don't worry, even if you become a cripple because of this, I will protect you to the very end." That was... Unexpectedly sweet"Thank you, brother."

Those last words came directly from my heart. I have never killed a man and neither has my brother. We are both one of the strongest and most soft people in the entire clan. We did a small bro hug and even the Gong Zhu squad came and snuggled at our legs.

We kept the hug for a minute and broke off "I'll activate the Gu worms now." He nodded his head "You better come out of this alive and well! If I end up having more talent than you by the end of the day, I won't let you live it down!"

That got a smirk out of me. I am happy I have such an amazing brother. Stone aperture Gu, activate!

The roughy stone dice-like Gu in my stomach suddenly exploded and all the red primeval essence in my body instantly got refined. My aperture walls turned into stone and completely fired up, as the red essence in my body got darker and darker until it stopped and my cultivation solidified "Rank 2 peak stage achieved. Now, Fate Flipped Upside Down Gu, activate!"

A couple seconds passed and the great battle of Gu worms I was expecting didn't even happen! The stone walls just crumbled as soon as Fate Flipped Upside Down Gu was activated and I opened my eyes.

"That was anticlimactic. I didn't even feel any pain. My stone aperture filled up to 100% with rank 2 peak primeval essence and then the aperture walls just broke apart and revealed a new, white wall. I am now at rank 1 initial stage with 100% talent!"

The entire process was only like, what? 1? maybe 2 minutes? I spent a longer time hugging my brother than going through the pain I was expecting. How can I just go from 0 to 100 that fast and without repercussions? My brother looked at me and said "Shouldn't all Gu worms have a drawback? Going from rank 2 to rank 1 might sound bad, but you can get back your cultivation in a matter of months with your talent. It isn't even that big of a drawback."

I suddenly realized something. The drawbacks of each Gu were canceled by each other. "The stone aperture Gu and Fate Flipped Upside Down Gu synergized so well with each other the negative effects were neutralised and the only drawback left was my stone aperture walls, which had to be replaced, so my cultivation fell.

My red primeval essence has also left my body and now I have a white aperture with jade green copper essence. I'll need to get back the lost cultivation as soon as possible.
