CHAPTER 14

Weeks passed and malcolm was at his brother's bakery where he works with his brother and Chad,just like every other day business was going well with a lot of customers coming in and out,but just then they were visited by two familiar faces.

Malcolm: Hey, it's tina and Max. I haven't seen you in ages.

Officer tina: it's officer tina to you, Mr luca and malcolm kings you are both under arrest for the murder of detective tina, you have the right to remain silent for anything you do or say shall be used against you in the court of law.

Luca and malcolm seem to be confused by what the police were saying, and everyone were staring at them.

Malcolm: Hum officer tina, I think you made a mistake. We didn't kill anyone.

Officer max: One more word, and it will be used against you in court.

Luca: Fine,Chad babe text the others and let them what is happening okay and please take care.

Chad nods, and the police process to put handcuffs on luca and malcolm.

Luca: Don't worry, my customers, I'll be back soon (he smiled)

And as they were leaving, everyone started clapping and wishing them good luck .

At debby's house.

She was feeding the baby when she got a text from Chad and immediately called the others on a connect call.

CALL

Devi: Yo, what's going on?

Debby: I don't know,just get the text from Chad, too.

Nathan: How did they kill your mother,I thought she was missing.

Debby: I know that, but why didn't Officer tina come to the house, I never told her about malcolm working there.

Didi: That's not what we should ask right now.

Devi: Yes, we should go to the hospital. Sorry, I mean station,I'm at the hospital,I got a little sick.

Debby : You sure you can come?

Devi: Of course I can, I didn't break a bone ,it was just a headache.

Debby: Okay, meet you there.

Devi: Okay, sure.

Didi: Okay, fine. (the call ends).

Debby who has already finished feeding the baby before the call ends, took the baby immediately, locked up and drove off,Minutes later when she got there the others were waiting for her outside so they can go in together.

Debby: How did you guys get here so fast.

Didi: We live nearby, remember.

Debby: Yeah, I forgot.

Devi: The hospital was not that far from here.

Debby: Okay.

They went inside the station but as they were about to ask for luca and malcolm, they heard a huge laugh and it sounded like the two brothers, as they came closer and looked they saw that it was truly them and then they heard a bang on the table as officer tina comes out of the integration room.

Debby: Officer tina, what's the meaning of this?

Officer tina: DOING MY JOB!! (she yells and left them).

Devi: Woah, she seems intense,I've never seen her, so I worked up like this.

Officer Max also came out.

Debby: Can you be kind enough to let us know what the fuck is going on?

Officer max: Sure,the kings brothers are suspects in a murder case that involves your mother begin dead.

Debby: Okay that I get but how.

Officer max: Well we got a call from someone who claimed they saw a dead body in an abandoned house near the woods and when we got there it was the body of your mother and the house was owned by the two brothers gifted to them by their father.

Devi: Tell us something we don't already know pretty boy.

Officer max: So we figured it was them.

Chief: Figured, you publicly arrest based on your thoughts alone and in handcuffs too,where were you trained in the fucking zoo. (he came from behind)

Officer max: Well it was all officer Tina's idea.

Chief: Idea, so if this should make its way to headlines, it will read "two brothers arrested based on an idea." Now that's a lame story, tina!! (he yells).

Just after seconds, she rushes in.

Officer tina: Yes, sir.

Chief: Release them.

Officer tina: Wait, sir, but they are suspects.

Chief: Release them or turn in your badge.

Officer tina: But this is a murder case, sir.

Chief:A case without proof ,now that is no case .

Officer tina: I know, sir, but....

chief: just do what you are told.

After hesitation, Officer tina went into the integration room and released luca and malcolm. The two brothers came out smiling, followed by Officer tina, who walked away.

Luca: Thank you so much sir,thank you for believing in us.

Chief: I know what my neice can do.

Malcolm: Thank you, uncle.

Chief: You are welcome. You can leave now.

They all thanked the chief,left the station, and headed for debby's house.

At debby's house

They all arrived and came inside the house and sat down but the two brothers couldn't stop laughing.

Didi: Okay I got to ask, are you telling us, are you not telling us.

Debby:Come on what happened.

Luca: Oh get this, Tina's body was found in a house, our papa gave to us long before he died but we do not live there since 2010,as in nothing was at the house, nothing.

Malcolm: But yet tina says she found Tina's body in a cooler, and get this, it was cold,now how did the cooler get here.

Debby: So someone else did it and you were called because it was your house.

Luca: Exactly but she then said something else that really pisses me off,that bitch said we killed papa and got everything under him, rude bitch, I'll make her apologise but right now I need to go back to work.

Malcolm: Me too ,bye love.

he kisses debby and Psalm before headed out with his brother.

Sabrina: They are what we call in Mexico.

Didi: Amen to that girl.

Nathan: Well girls I have to go back to work, come on didi let's go.

Debby: Wait, you two work together, where?

Didi: At an old nursing home, they fear me there.

Nathan: And they love me.

Didi: So it's perfect, let's go.

They kissed their mates and left.

Sabrina: So they turned us to house wives(they laughed.)

AT THE STATION

We meet officer tina and Max outside, tina was smoking and talking to max.

Officer max: But do you think so.

Officer tina: Of course, his their uncle, he will turn a blind eye to anything they do but I'll get them and I hope you will help me.

Officer max: Of course I will, for Syria and nomi.
