Chapter 7.1 - Nova - Origins

The sky was cloudy and gloomy. Thousands of crows can be seen flying all over the sky. Then suddenly, a creature with horn and wings can be seen flying around as well. They are demons. Not just one, but hundreds upon hundreds of them. As far as the eyes can see. The landscape was barren and then, therein lies a fortress. The fortress wasn't as huge or obvious as most would wonder. It had always been hidden around the surrounding mountains nearby, so nobody could really know where it was except when you look on a map or flying from the sky.

Anyway, in that fortress, a tower was also there as well. I was looking all of these through the window of the tower. I didn't expect it would be this barren after coming back to this world centuries later. But then again, I knew this would happen considering that I am The Dragon of Space-Time. I've already looked into the future of what is about to happen. I've already know what is about to happen.

I looked outside of the window and saw a band of people banding together at the top of the surrounding mountains. To think that the Cyclone White, someone who doesn't socialize that much could amass such an army without even being there at all. I've already seen enough of this. It all ends the same. It's no fun knowing the ending of the story at all to be honest. Wanna know what happens? Those army outside of the fortress fail to stop my force. Without White leading the charge, the only one left to take care of the creation of the army was Mei Xue and Sonozaki Wakana.

Even with that, it doesn't feel like it was enough to fight against us. The 'army' felt like a group of students instead of a threat to us all. Of course they lost. They are powerless even against these demons. Heck, it wouldn't be a surprise if that 'army' is actually the whole batch of students.

"This is boring..." I sighed.

Then suddenly, I heard a voice in my head, "If it's so boring. Then why not do something else."

I sighed at him, "Oh please. What do you know, Cyclone White. You're just another wizard. You're not the chosen one or something like that. You're only chosen to be a tool."

White then wittingly replied, "Even if that is the case. You still don't have your own body. Isn't that the only reason you are weaker than you used to?"

"As weak as I am right now. There is no other individual that can stop me at this time." I told him.

To which he asked me, "How are you so sure about that? Crestia is pretty big, you know?"

I simply answered, "Haven't you understand yet? I am the Space-Time Dragon. I already know everything that is going to happen in this reality. And that is why I said it is boring."

White then laughed. I felt a bit irritated by him but I simply looked out of the window to see the demons flying about outside of the fortress.

I asked him, "Why are you laughing, Cyclone White?"

White then said, "For a powerful being, you don't really have a clear final goal do you?"

"Whatever plan I have is not of your concern Cyclone White. I do however, wish to spice things up. Except that everything I do will be a future that I already know."

"Then how about I do something about that?" White suggested.

"What are you implying, human?" I wondered.

And so, Cyclone White on his last ditch effort, gives out his idea to me.

"How about I create something. Something original and unexpected for you. Wouldn't that be a nice change of scenery?"

I told him, "Continue..."

"Since you are still in control of me, maybe you can use my brain and imagination to make something out of that. Have you thought of that before?"

I laughed and said, "Interesting. I'll entertain you for once Cyclone White."

"Oh you'll definitely will. You've lend me your power all this time. Why not I lend you something from my own this time."

"A good compensation, then." I nodded. "You love to write, don't you?" I said that as I procured a typewriter. "I'll give you the opportunity to write..."

"If that's what your telling me to do...then I'll gladly take it." He sounded happy.

I temporarily gave White his body back. But he will only be able to use his body whenever he is near the typewriter. So he won't do anything stupid. White then begins to type in something.

"What are you writing then, White?"

White told me, "Promise me one thing, this story will be sent back into the past and the author's name is going to be unknown."

"Why is that?"

"So that it will be a level playing field between the two of us. It also won't create a time paradox if the author's name is revealed." He smiled.

"Time paradox...so you know something about that, huh." I was impressed. "So...who is the main character...you?" I laughed.

White then confidently said, "No. I'm not the protagonist of this story. Neither are you..."

"Then who?"

"Her..."
