Chapter 106

He wasn't all powerful and he truly didn't have what it took for him to be able to go up against some of the most powerful mages.

He had allowed his own thoughts to get the best of him and he should have been able to come face to face with reality and come to the realization that things weren't always as they seemed.

He was nothing more than a human and what eve intelligence he had and whatever power he thought he had possiessi0n of as nothing compared to what they had.

He was human and that meant that he was just as disposable if not more and he could be killed just as easily as they were.

He was forced then at that moment to face the reality of the fact that he wasn't in fact invincible and they would be able to take him down very easily. 

That didn't meant that it was over in a sense but it meant that it was time for him to be more careful and think things through better before he was able to exact his acts of revenge.

There was a reason why he was getting revenge in the first place and that was the fact that they looked down on him because of the fact that he wasn't as strong as they were. That was something that he had to remember and that was the fact that they were still more powerful and strong that he was.

He may have had the motive to take them down but they were the ones who had the willpower as well as the physical strength to ensure that it actually happened. That was something that he should have seen before and it was something that he should have been able to take as a warning.

However he. Had allowed all of that to go over his head and he had allowed himself to believe that he was beyond all of that and that he was beyond getting killed.

He was a fool for thinking that and he should have realized much sooner that it was simply not how things worked.

This was if anything a reality check and a moment for him to come face to face with the fact that nothing was as it seemed and he had to understand that if he wanted to. Win the game he didn't just have to be smarter but he had to have much stronger man power than they had and that was the only way for him that he would be able to come out of it on top.

However now it seemed almost although none of that matter as it seemed that he was the one who was on the losing end and once again it was as though he was being forced back into the hands of the bullies where they got to push him around and he was the one who was forced to run away from them.

The thought left him infuriated as he had thought of himself as being better than this. He should have been able to move past this and yet here he was being forced to run asway from Tina as she hunted him down.

He had thought of himself as being powerful and that. He had all the plot armor that he needed in order to ensure that whatever happened he was able to get out of it on top.

However this wasn't a game and he had come to realize that it was more of a reality.

It didn't give him some extra lives and he. Was just as powerless and he was before.

He wasn't powerful and invincible as the protagonist of the web novels that he was used to. In the end he was nothing more than an ordinary human.

One that could easily die and or be killed.

That was something that he found himself struggling to come to terms with as he came to realize that every action had a reaction.

This was his opportunity to turn the tide and he had thought because he had been given this brilliant opportunity that it meant that he could do anything that he wanted.

But that wasn't true. There was always a catch and just because you thing that you can do it all doesn't mean that you actually can.

Instead it was time to come to terms with the reality and that was thew fact that he was as weak and vulnerable human whilst tina the very person who was chasing after him was a powerful mage.

The reality was that he hadn't been thinking of others.

The only thing that he had been focused on this whole time was for how he would be able to exact his plot for revenge.

Bit. It was more than that.

On his need to get his revenge on the people that had bullied him and especially Tina he had been selfish and he had put all of his other classmates in danger.

Because of him t had led to the death of Gloria and all of his other classmates.

He knew that tina was bad and that she was a powerful force that didn't care who she heart in her ruthless plot but what he hadn't realized in his own agenda was the fact that her was just as ruthless and she was.

He hadn't cared about who he used in the process either and he was also partly to blame and he was part of those at fault for the death of his classmates.

That was something that wasn't only on her hands but it was on his hands as well.

It didn't matter how hard he tried to tell himself that it was only her fault that wasn't true and he was the one who carried some of the blame as well.

He would have to live with that fact and there was no way for him to twist the story in a way that it would come to be in his favor.

He was the one who was wrong and this was his doing just as much as it was her own.

Maybe that was another reason why he wasn't invincible and he was nothing more than a human.

As true protagonist would have cared for the fates of his classmates and wouldn't have put them in the way in order for him to be able to settle some sort of grudge and yet here Dick was doing that very thing.

The images of his class martes and what had happened to them was something that continued to be engrained into his head.

Each time he tried to shake it clear from his thoughts it was no use and he found himself struggling to get the thoughts out of his head.

He felt as though each time he tried to fall asleep that he was able to see was the images of Gloria and his other classmates as they lay dead and all he had done was gotten up and he had run away as though he was truly nothing more than a coward.

He found himself being torn between several emotions.
