The sound of the door knocking took Han's attention from the television and he stood up to walk over to the door. What he saw when he opened it made him gape in shock. Celestia was currently holding Astonia on her back.
"What happened?" He managed to ask as she walked past him, forcing Zerro off the sofa before she gently placed the elderly lady onto it.
"I showed her who I truly am and she fainted in shock." Celestia deadpanned and Han released a sigh.
"Why did you show her for? I thought you were going to work out your problems with your family, not cause a scene." Zerro mentioned with a raised brow but the gleam in her eyes darkened when she recalled what she had been told.
"Rosella was killed." Her revelation earned a gasp from the two, their reaction the same.
"What?!"
She nodded, looking at Astonia and letting out a sigh.
"I don't feel sad over her death but Astonia has been taking care of Rosella since she was as young as me so, I want to find who killed her." Celestia told but Zerro began to protest.
"We don't have time to find out her killer. We have to win against my brother and-"
"The stalker who killed Rosella is going to come after me now. They want me dead too."
Celestia took out the folded note from her pocket and handed it to Zerro who read the content written down, followed by Han who blinked at one word in particular.
"Power? Is her stalker a supernatural being?" He questioned with wonder as he looked up at the girl.
She nodded as her answer, looking down at Astonia as she noticed the older woman was waking up.
"Celestia?" She called with a whisper as she slowly sat up.
"Are you okay, Astonia?" Celestia kneeled down to her level and placed a hand on her back.
"I am but...where are we?" She looked around in wonder before her eyes settled onto Han and Zerro.
"This is Han's apartment where I have been living." Celestia said, introducing the blue haired boy in the process.
"Oh...I see." the young girl could tell that Astonia was taking the living situation the wrong way and quickly jumped in to explain herself.
"You already know I'm not human, Astonia. Han is an angel and Zerro is a demon. We're working together to find Rosella's killer."
Astonia's eyes widened as she took in the news and it wasn't long before she was in tears. Han grew startled and kneeled down to comfort the elderly lady in some sort of way while Zerro rolled his eyes, finding the situation unamusing.
"Why are you crying?" Han spoke in a gentle manner.
"I'm just thankful that you are willing to do this. I-I thought you wouldn't because of how Rosella had treated you all these years..." She mumbled as she lowered her head in shame but Celestia called for her once more.
"I'm doing this for you so you can be at peace and live your life with happiness. I also want to move on from this and start fresh." The black haired girl told with a small smile.
Astonia stared into the other female's eyes searching for any doubt or hesitation but all she saw was honesty and determination.
"Okay." The older woman took a deep breath before watching as the three sat down in front of her, opposite of the where she sat.
"I need to know this first. Where or how was Rosella harmed?" Celestia enquired as she crossed her arms, tucking them under her chest.
"Well..." Astonia hesitated as she recalled the area where she saw Rosella had been wounded.
"Was it that bad?" Zerro wondered, his eyebrows scrunching together as he felt this way.
"No...It was just...She only had one wound." She revealed to them.
The three remained silent, leaning forward slightly as they anticipated her answer.
"A bite on her neck."
Everything clicked and Celestia turned to Zerro who held the same thoughts.
"It's a vampire." Han concluded and Astonia felt her doubts disappear, having to admit that the wound could only be made by one species.
Before she had been introduced to the supernatural world, thanks to Celestia, she could not come up with an idea as to who could kill Rosella with such a small wound. She had stumbled across the thought of a vampire but it sounded ridiculous until today where she found out, humans weren't the only one's who lived in this world.
"I've never met one." Celestia mentioned but Zerro huffed, leaning back in his seat as he recalled the times he had come across a few.
"I have and they are annoying...trust me. The way they become so obsessed with people sometimes, especially those with a rare blood type." Zerro shuddered over dramatically causing Han to roll his eyes while Astonia seemed shocked by the information.
"Rosella was a blood type AB minus which people rarely have in this country." Astonia mentioned and Han nodded with awe.
"No wonder that vampire stalker...whatever you want to call them, was going after Rosella." Han said with a frown and the room grew quiet as the information they had figured out was beginning to sink in.
Now, there were dozens of vampires in this world and to find the one they were after was going to take a long time unless, Celestia used herself as bait.
She herself had suggested the idea but was immediately declined by both the demon and angel.
"I lost your parents, I'm not losing you." He said in a firm tone, not giving the younger girl a chance to explain herself.
"Yeah. We can find another way to get them." Han assured with a smile.
Celestia still thought her idea was the best one but if the others were not on board with it then she had no choice but to leave it. They were a team so it would be bad if they didn't work together.
"We need to get you home." Celestia mentioned as she gazed at Astonia who looked at the time to see it was three in the morning.
"I'll go with you." Han offered but she shook her head, declining it.
"It's fine. It is only ten minutes away from here." Celestia told as she stood to grab her jacket she had gotten from her home.
Zerro frowned, not happy that Celestia had refused their acompany but didn't speak up, watching as the two moved to the front door to leave. As soon as the door shut, the demon stood up from his seat.
"Where are you going?" Han raised a brow in his direction but Zerro continued to put his shoes on before he faced the angel.
"I'm going to keep an eye on them." He announced but stumbled back when Han grabbed the back of his hoodie and tug him backwards.
"Even if something happened to them, you wouldn't be able to fight off whoever hurts them." The blue haired boy said in a way that annoyed the demon but he knew Han was right.
That dose of power he had taken had wearied off after his fight against his brother but the after effect of taking it caused all the power he had built in his entire life to vanish. He was as weak as his five hundred year old self or in human age, five. It was going to take him a long time before his strength and power would return to its original level.
Han slipped his shoes on and patted Zerro's shoulder as he walked past him.
"I'll see you in a bit."
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Celestia bid Astonia goodbye and watched as the older woman closed her door before she stuffed her hands in her pockets and turned around.
She took one step forward but froze in place when she felt a huge pressure of power press against her back.
"Don't hide." She held her confidence as she uttered her words and soon, a cloaked figure stepped out of the shadows.
The only part of their face that Celestia could see was the sinister grin that painted their lips.
"I see your not afraid of me." They revealed themselves to be a male as he spoke in a jolly manner.
The young girl remained stoic, not wanting to reveal a single emotion to her enemy but when he used his super speed to appear in front of her, leaning forward to shorten the gap between their faces, Celestia couldn't help but softly gasp.
"I said I would kill you so I thought you would make my job hard but it seems you really just want to die by my hands." He hissed and Celestia narrowed her eyes, irritated that she was getting intimidated by the vampire.
She jumped back, creating a distance between them before she summoned her sword.
"Oh, please. That piece of metal isn't going to harm me." He said and even if Celestia couldn't see, she could tell he had rolled his eyes at that moment.
The female didn't have a chance to prepare herself and quickly brought up her sword as he zoomed towards her with a dagger of his own.
Sparks flew as they clashed against each other and Celestia assumed she was matching the strength of the vampire but when she began to struggle, she realised he had been holding back.
Her eyes widened as she was pushed back, her weapon falling to her side before she watched in horror as the vampire brought his dagger towards her body.
"Celestia!"
A shield appeared in front of her and in time for the dagger to smack off of it. The vampire tutted, a small amount of frustration hitting him as he saw an angel run towards the girl and stand in front of her in a protective stance.
"Before you get to Celestia, you will have to go through me first!"
