Chapter 6

Amira got went home with Nathalie. It was a different house than before only, it was bigger. Nathalie showed her her room and Amira lay down on the bed and slept off. The next day, she woke up in the arms of her BELOVED husband.

She rubbed her eyes to make sure she wasn't dreaming. She got out of bed and went into the bathroom.

She took a long shower and got out. When she got out, Thayer was already awake. She walked into the closet and dressed up. She wore a big t-shirt with biker shorts and a beanie. Definition of comfort clothes.

Thayer walked out of the room and went to his study. He was researching on important documents and his next target.

Amira walked in.

"Nathalie, how many times do I have to tell you to knock before you enter my stu...." Thayer asked but before he could finish Amira said, "its me actually"

"What do you want Mira"

"I'm bored"

"What should I do about it?"

"I'll do anything"

"Then write I'm sorry a thousand times"

"A thousand times?"

"Yes a thousand fucking times!!" Thayer said with anger in his voice

"Calm down Godzilla. I was just askin' but you know what? I'll write it"

And she left.

Thayer received a call from one of his gang members. He answered the call and said, "Have you found it?"

"Send me the file I'll print it out"

"Aiit talk to you later"

And he hung up. Thayer continued using his computer. He got up after a while and printed some documents from his computer. Then he bound everything with a paper clip and turned it over.

Amira walked in again.

"What do you want?" Thayer asked

"I think I need more paper" Amira replied

Amira walked to the table "I think I'll just these" Amira took some papers bonded with a paper clip and walked away

Thayer was looking for the file he'd just printed. He called the same person to send it again but the line wasn't going through.

He searched his table.

'Where could have the mfing file gone' Thayer asked in his head

Not too long, Amira walked in withh papers in her hand.

"I'm done," she said

"Not now Mira I'm not in the mood," Thayer said coldly

Thayer looked up to see Amira with sheets of paper. He didn't expect her to take it seriously but when he looked closely, they looked familiar. He walked close to her and took the papers.

"Are these my documents?" Thayer asked

"Documents? It's obviously what you told me to write"

"Fuck!!" Thayer cursed and brushed his hand through his hair.

"How the heck did you not read this?!!" Thayer asked as he shook her by her shoulders

"Because they aren't my documents?"

"Do you know what you've done?"

"Ummmm yes? I proved you wrong"

"I'm out. Call me when you're done throwing tantrums princess" Amira was about to leave when Thayer pinned her to the door

"If you do something like this again, I would not hesitate to punish you in the best way I can"

"Pun-punish me?"

"I'll make you scream my name" He smirked devilishly

A knock came on the door. Thayer released Amira and Nathan came in, Amira saw the opportunity to run out.

Very close calls

"I didn't even say you should enter," Thayer said

"I didn't ask" Nathan responded

"I'm sorry if I ruined your moment"

"What moment?"

"You can't tell me ya'll haven't done anything"

"I can 'cause we haven't. I can't even bring myself to touch her. I don't know why but I have this guilty feeling"

"It's loooooooovvvvvvveeeeee!!!!"

"Please stop"

"So you're telling me you haven't consummated your marriage?"

"It's not real anyway"

"You can't tell me you don't feel anything bro"

"I know her for what? Two weeks? That Isn't enough to fall in love with someone Nate"

"Sorry Godzilla"

"You don't even have a girlfriend so what do you know about love?"

"Ouch"

"I mean, coaches don't play"

Thayer rolled his eyes

"Why are you even here? And who let you in?"

"Ummmmm security?"

"I'm here because I think your brother is up to something"

"He's always up to something but he can't get me because I don't have any weaknesses"

"Amira is one of them"

"No she's not"

"I don't even care if she gets killed"

"Then explain why you went to her rescue like prince charming when she got kidnapped"

"I couldn't let my brother take what was mine"

"Wow. Now she's yours? I'm sorry sir"

"Not in that way. Like I practically own her"

"I don't see your point"

"I didn't see why you have to annoy the shit out of me anytime you're around"

"Its what brothers do"

"Anyways, I saw Vincent trying to break into our hideout last night"

"Our hideout? What could he probably want and how did he find it?"

"He's probably searching for the safe to all those documents we've been hiding"

"But the safe is right in this house"

"I know. That's why I was confused"

"We have to be more careful. All I need is that bastard of a man called Patrick to sign the goddamn papers"

"Until then, we have his daughter"

"Yup"

"Come in," Amira said

"Miss, Your food is here," Nathalie said as she opened the door and held a tray in her hand

"Aiit. Put it on the coffee table"

Amira got up from bed. She was using her phone. She sat down in the balcony of the room and ate.
