Chapter 10

The soldiers looking at david running towards the zombies, decided to stop shooting when he enters their range of fire.

David rushing at the zombies swings his sword at the zombies.

Just swinging it around david managed to kill three zombies, rushing at the other zombies, david just kept swinging.

The soldiers were astonished by davids speed and strength, but quickly snapping out of their shock, the soldiers resumed firing.

The more David killed, the more he got excited killing right now was just so fun and so free.

A smile couldn't help but appear on his face, a smile that would look normal, if not for what he is currently doing.

The soldiers originally were shocked then the shock turned into respect then fear.

They are looking at david who was smiling as he just cuts zombies anyhow.

While david was slaughtering in this side, peter was trying his best to kill the zombies in the way.

"The zombies are too much. "

Peter complained as zombies from the other sides were rushing towards here.

"Were almost there, just keep killing them and we will reach the military. "

Tony was encouraging peter to keep moving forward.

Peter suddenly sees that the zombies that were attacking them had significantly reduced

Peter didn't know that it was because of david and his wanton slaughter, which attracted the zombies.

Swinging both weapons in tandem, david was just going on his killing spree, one hand swing and the other hand follows suit.

This killing lasts for more than an hour before it was finally quelled, all the zombies that had attacked were killed.

"Thank you for your assists, we would have suffered severe casualties if it weren't for your help. "

The captain sincerely thanked david, then peter and his group.

All of them chose to follow the army, except david, he was a loner and didn't really like any association or being part of any group.

The captain tries to persuade david, he had witnessed his power and wanted to rope him in.

David is seriously tempted, he had enough food and water to last him three years but he did not want that type of life.

David in the end eventually decides to follow the army to a safe and better place.

The captain answered, this was not really too much of a request.

"Okay, prepare, we start in an hour. "

The captain declares, the soldiers needed to rest, and the group was given time to take any and everything they needed.

As for the dead soldiers, they would be taken back to be buried, this was because they were soldiers and they would also provide nutrients to the soil.

Running back to the house, david hurriedly looks at the system.

David said it's name as he proceeds to stroke the blade.

"I forgot, I need to pack my things. "

Quickly sheathing the blade, david goes up and calls for the dog to follow him.

Then, going to where the freezers are, david carries one of the freezers and heads to the basement.

Arriving at the basement, david puts the big freezer inside the off-road vehicle, repeating this process again, david then carries all the weapons.

Putting the weapons, david proceeds to carry water and stuff it in the big off-road vehicle.

After this, david carries other less important items like clothes.

Packing everything he needed, david carries the dog and puts on the seat, fastening the seat but for both him and the dog, david starts the vehicle.

This basement had been designed to allow a person to drive out from by modifying the door.

Going out of the basement, david drives the car towards the army.

Stopping close to the cars and trucks, david comes out with his dog.

"You are done? "

The captain asked, as the other had arrived a long time ago and they were waiting for him.

"Yes, I'm sorry for the wait. "

David sincerely apogizes to them.

"Okay, shall we get started? "

The captain asks, the people turn to look at each other and nobody said anything.
