His entire body collapsed heavily onto the floor, eyes wide open, his face pale. His body convulsed a few times.

His bloodshot eyes stared with a twisted grin.

He stopped moving altogether dead beyond doubt.

"Is he dead?"

Hoshino Ai took small steps toward Lin Ye.

"Mm, but he'll probably revive. Since he's already part of the inn's staff, as long as the inn exists, he can't truly die. At least for now, though, he won't appear before us again."

Lin Ye glanced at the female receptionist. He recalled how yesterday he had kicked her out of the inn more than once, yet each time she managed to reappear.

"He's dead,"

The cool female voice confirmed it. The receptionist spoke.

"Rule: death."

The blond was truly dead.

Lin Ye stood in silent mourning but decided he'd celebrate with fireworks later.

This guy being alive had made his trip to the two-dimensional world almost pointless. But now, things were good he had truly gotten rid of him.

Lin Ye once again expressed his gratitude to the female receptionist.

She walked up to Lin Ye, silently gazing at him. Her eyes seemed to convey something.

Following her line of sight, Lin Ye noticed she was looking at the spilled lubricant on the floor.
