Chapter 147 (b-c)

Absorbing it or not!

Timmy walked in sleepily, mother and father attended to him instantly. My relationship with this young latter was really hanging on the cliff, sometimes i love him so much and sometimes i shrug at his existence especially for the fact that Tiana is his mother, it makes me feel obnoxious. I cringed a little.

  "Whays wrong honey? Are you hurt?" Mother asked holding his wrists.

  "I can't sleep! I had a nightmare.." He stopped, his voice was almost breaking.

  "That's sad! What did your dream about, is that bad?" Mother asked again, she grew interested. He nodded his head lightly

  "Ye..ah! Baby khaleed was taken away by a monster..." His eyes welled. Mothers' face dropped.

  "Oh no Timmy,don't cry! He's asleep...with your mother, okay? Don't cry honey, i can't stand it or i get emotional too! Okay?!" She assured

  "Grandma? Can i sleep in your room instead? I'm scared that the monster might just come around. Again!" He Timmy stated like the child he was . 

  "Look honey, there's no such thing like monsters creeping on children, Sweet children like you! Alright, you can have grandma's room. Go ahead, I'll be right behind you!" She said

  "Ok Grandma!" He grinned then "Goodnight Grandpa!" He gave my father a hug.

  "That's my boy!" Grandpa smiled along snuggling his nose. He turned to me but he was skeptical about the hug, i could see the lack of confidence on his face.

  "Goodnight daddy!" 

  "...'night son!" I snapped. He sprinted away while i was rubbing my forehead. I felt mother and father's eyes pouting on my skin. I turned to them immediately. Another word, i said to myself.

  "Don't gimme that shit look Kareem, he's your son for crying out loud!' Mother cautioned.

  "But Mom, i ain't done nothing..." I began in defense.

  "You've got to be a father not just Khaleed but to Timmy, they are both your sons!" Mother stood up to leave "We've got a crazy problem going on and you're still adding shit! Love him for the innocent boy he is not who's behind the  whole shit inflicted on you." He added. She kisses father on lips and gave me venomous stare instead then she asked walked briskly.

  "You'd get over it soon, its time you let the past behind you to be a better man to yourself, a good husband to Gia and the best father to your sons! They've got you at heart and its the love you show to them that they reciprocate and even more!" Father advised. I didn't expect that coolness, he keeps doing things differently when i expect the opposite. Very thoughtful of him. 

  "Thanks dad! I'm not mad at my son but i just can't help the fact that his mother wrecked my world earlier..." I stated my point.

  "...I get that too, you've got to let them go, face your future that includes your wife and sons. That's how i felt around Lola, that shit still sucks!"
