Chapter 39: Investigation

"Damn, because I was too focused on Obito's murder, I forgot the fact that I... Now I'm a father! Oh...! What is this! What is this! I'm a father!" Haruto was completely panicked and didn't know what to do.

"Calm down! Calm down! The Clone has been placed to take care of the girl and her daughter, who is also my daughter.... Ah, this world is crazy...." Haruto could only sigh deeply and gaze at the night sky with a complicated expression.

Kakashi was currently searching various places that looked like criminal hideouts. After searching for a while, Kakashi finally found something, a dark alley in the West District, where a group of people were gathering, armed as if they were on guard.

"Hmm... Looks like this is the place." Kakashi then walked closer.

One of the people who noticed Kakashi's arrival immediately became alert before shouting.

"Who are you! Stop! This is the territory of the Iron Claw Gang!" The muscular man shouted while pointing his sword at Kakashi.

"Is that so? It seems I'm lucky enough." Kakashi said with a smile before disappearing and reappearing in front of the man. Then Kakashi slammed the man's head into the ground.

"Baam!"

"Attack! Everyone, get ready!"

In a house, a man was walking towards his room. The man had a muscular body and looked big.

The man was Ervi, the man who previously said bad things about Obito, but after Obito beat him up, Ervi's life started to change. No one respected Ervi anymore, which made him very angry and vengeful towards Obito.

That's why Ervi sold information about Obito to the Black Market, in return for 20,000 Forty. Ervi didn't know what would happen to Obito, but he was sure that Obito would be killed by people from the Black Market.

As Ervi lay on his bed and closed his eyes, suddenly he felt his mouth being gagged, and Ervi couldn't move. When Ervi opened his eyes, he was shocked to find a man in a black cloak, wearing a black mask, and with terrifying eyes, staring at him with a menacing expression.

This made Ervi scared, and the masked man then punched Ervi's face.

When he woke up again, Ervi found himself tied up with ropes, on a bench in his bedroom.

"I will give you two choices, either tell me what I want to know quickly, or choose to remain silent while I torture you until you tell me what I want. Do you understand?" Hearing the hoarse and terrifying voice of the menacing man, Ervi became frightened.
