Chapter 15: Organizing Books

"Did you say something, Haruto?" Mei asked Haruto, as she didn't hear clearly what Haruto just said.

"Oh, nothing! So Miss Mei, when is the daily work time that I will do?" Haruto asked Mei.

"Since school starts from 8 am to 3 pm and the library closes at 6 pm, you only have three hours, while you have Saturdays and Sundays off, so you will only work on holidays. Besides, there isn't much time that can be used in those three hours, right?" Mei said with a smile.

"You're right, Miss Mei." Haruto nodded in agreement.

"So, do you want to organize the books today?" Mei then asked, as organizing all the books in the library would take a very long time. Mei thought it would be much better to do it slowly and not rush, but if Haruto wanted to do it now, Mei didn't mind.

"Of course, let's do it." Haruto agreed immediately, even though he knew he had to complete the daily mission he just received. But Haruto knew that could be done later, as helping Mei was much more important to him. Thanks to Mei, Haruto could trigger Missions and get many good things, so Haruto intended to repay the kindness Mei had shown.

Now Haruto started taking out various books from the shelves, row by row, to put them into boxes, according to the arrangement and categories given by Mei earlier.

Time passed, and it was already noon. Lunchtime finally arrived, and Mei then invited Haruto to have lunch together. As expected by Haruto, Mei brought spicy food, which was Haruto's favorite.

After lunch, they continued organizing the books. Haruto found that there were many books in the history category, which made him slightly curious about the long history of this world, whether it was the same as the earth he knew or not. But because he had to do his job, Haruto postponed reading the books and continued his work.

Finally, evening came, it was already three o'clock. Haruto then stopped organizing the books.

"What's wrong, Haruto?" Mei asked, confused.

"Um, Miss Mei, can I stop now and continue tomorrow? I promise to come early in the morning to make up for the work time, when I leave at this time." Haruto said to Mei. Haruto knew that his mission took up a lot of time, so he decided to stop early, so as not to finish the mission until late at night. That's why Haruto asked to stop at three o'clock.

"It's okay, but do you need to do something?" Mei asked confusedly, because usually Haruto would diligently do his tasks until the library closed.

"I need to do something, so can I really go?" Haruto asked worriedly.

"Of course, you can go." Mei agreed to it. After all, organizing all the books couldn't be done in an instant.

"Thank you very much, Miss Mei! Oh, do you know any private training places that students can use in the Academy City?" Haruto then realized that he needed to have his own training room, as he would be practicing fighting with his Clone. So Haruto needed a place so that his Clone wouldn't be discovered, because Haruto didn't want anyone to know that he had become an Abnormal.

But it was clear that Haruto was not abnormal like the others, because the Analysis Watch couldn't sense Energy or Aura, which was similar to the Chakra Energy that Haruto possessed from Konohamaru's Character Card.
