The Past

It seemed like a peaceful Saturday evening until it got late and dark when Tobias heard a loud sound that woke him up. At the time, Tobias and Rod were sleeping at the family house they were assigned to protect. The noise was so loud it scared Tobias because the sound made Tobias's intuition know that he heard a bomb go off. When Tobias investigated the noise outside, he saw Rod already at the scene, wide and awake. Unfortunately, it was already too late, and what Rod and Tobias saw made them enraged and upset. Rod screamed at the top of his lungs. What the f*ck? How could we have let this incident transpire?

Rod and Tobias, at the time, thought they saw Albert's dead body split in half. What did not occur to Rod and Tobias was that it could have been one of Albert's decoy bodies he created to look natural. It was late, and Rod and Tobias were not thinking rationally or logically since what seemed natural. Tobias assumed what he saw was real, that this was a nightmare, that he was still sleeping, and that Albert was alive and well when he woke up in the morning. However, Tobias and Rod felt like failures for allowing Albert to die.

Tobias became confused about the situation because Albert was always careful. Albert consistently reported back to Tobias and Rod if he noticed anything suspicious. The only conclusion Tobias could come up with was that someone in the family he was assigned to protect was a traitor and killed Albert. Tobias understood that he was in a country where he was a foreigner and a target, but in this situation, they were not in the city but in the middle of nowhere in a safe house. Tobias hopes that no one in the family is a traitor for two reasons: they would pay with their life, and they would have failed to protect the family.

Once the sun came out, all the family members came out of their room in pajamas. The scene Tobias and Rod saw horrified them and caused them to puke. Rod questioned himself about the family being terrified of the event they had seen or if they were great actors and actresses. Rod's instincts were almost always correct, but he was unsure in this case since he was furious and clouded his judgment.

The weird part was that Albert would only have fallen for a trap if it was a setup. Albert believed in helping anyone who needed help, even if it was just listening to someone. Tobias told Rod it was time to question the family because they learned someone would mess up their line when they gave their story or failed to provide their whereabouts. Unknown to Tobias and Rod was that Albert was alive and well.

Rod and Tobias interrogated Abdul Muhammad Barker, the head of the family, who is fifty-five years old. The first question Tobias and Rod asked was, "Where were you last night?" Abdul replied by saying he was sleeping in his room. Did you not hear the loud explosion last night? It should have woken you up. I am a heavy sleeper; it is rare for me to wake up with any noise. Abdul seemed like a primary suspect from the answers he had provided.

The following person who got questioned was Sanaaa Destiny Barker, wife of Abdul, who is fifty-two years old. For Sanaaa's age, she was still gorgeous with a great body. Sanaaa is in good health, with big breasts, and seems fertile. They asked Sanaaa, "What were you doing last night?" Sanaaa replied that she was in bed with her husband, who had woken up from a loud sound like an explosion.

The following person Rod and Tobias questioned was Kabeer Ezekiel Barker, who is twenty-one years old, the son. The question Kabeer got asked was, why did you kill Albert? Kabeer replied by saying why would I kill Albert, who was protecting us. I slept on my bed very comfortably until it moved on its own.

The last person questioned was Hanaaa Sienna Barker, who is eighteen years old and the daughter of Sanaaa and Abdul. They asked her, "Why were you sleeping with your brother?" Hanaaa replied, saying I would never f*ck my brother; that is disgusting. I was sleeping in my bed until I heard a loud boom sound.

Rod and Tobias could not tell who was telling the truth or lying because they all could be telling the truth or lying. Rod suspects Adbul was lying because his wife Sanaaa heard the loud sound and woke and claimed her husband heard it as well. Tobias suspects that they all could be lying because there is something off with their alibi. Rod did not care because he planned to sleep with Sanaaa since he likes women with big breasts. Rod plans to sleep with Sanaaa when her husband Abdul is asleep because he said nothing wakes him. Rod wants to test that statement out, and what better way than sleeping with his wife?

Rod, even though he despised when women were being used and defiled or sexually assaulted, deserved death, but in this instance, that does not matter to him anymore. What matters to Rod now is revenge and justice for his comrade's death. Rod plans to convince Sanaaa that she and her family are guilty of killing Albert. Rod said he would forgive her if they slept together when her husband and children were asleep.

Sanaaa told Rod are you out of your mind? Why would I sleep with you? I am not an adulteress person. I believe in God and will not cheat on my loving husband. Sanaaa told Rod her religion and practice are essential to her and her family.

Rod said to Sanaaa you do not have a choice in this matter. I want to see your husband's horrified face when he sees me sleeping with you and you moaning in pleasure. I want to prove he lied and was the one who killed Albert. I can sleep with your daughter instead, but I know you will not allow that, so you are all mine to do as I please. Tobias disagrees with Rod's method. Tobias is desperate to receive an answer but does not believe in coercing a family who might be innocent of a crime they might not have committed instead of assuming they are all guilty. Rod's method was unorthodox but seemed better than bringing the whole family to their base to be interrogated again by meaner people who get results.

Even though Rod was looking forward to sleeping with Sanaaa, another incident occurred. As nightfall came, vehicles were heard reaching the safehouse. Tobias and Rod were confused because they had not contacted anyone from the base yet. The tank was not from their unit since the vehicle was unmarked. Once the tank stopped moving, people started shooting the safe house.

Tobias snapped back from reminiscing when he heard gunshots. Tobias was confused about the situation since he had thought about the past again. Rod had touched Tobias's shoulders to tell him that it had been thirty minutes since they had not gotten shot at. Someone entered their enemy's hideout and tried to take them out. Their adversaries were losing their focus on them. We should be safe in the meantime. Tobias believes his prayer got answered, and reinforcement was coming to help them.
