Recovery

Tobias Washington's first week following his doctors' regimen schedule was agonizing. The reason Tobias was in pain was that when he was captured by The Syndicate of Invisibility, a terrorist group, along with Rod Huntsinger, they were tortured. So, when Tobias tried basic stretches, it was difficult for him due to the pain. The pain almost made Tobias faint since it was unbearable because he was no longer running on adrenaline. Tobias did not want to continue following his doctors' regimen schedule because it was too painful, but he knew he couldn't give up because this was the first step to getting better.

Rod Huntsinger's regimen schedule, created by his doctor, was unbearable. The reason why the regimen schedule was excruciating for Rod was it was part of his occupational, physical therapy, rehabilitative physical therapy, and hand physical therapy. Rod had to stretch when waking up and before going to sleep. Rod had to do about one hundred jumping jacks every other day. Rod almost passed out when he got to number eighty on his set when he fell to the ground of his room because he was in so much pain.

This reminded Rod of his boot camp experience when he was a recruit. At that time, Rod was learning to be independent and was new to experiencing life when he grew up in a sheltered life and lived in a fantasy world. Rod wanted to give up, not because of the physical activities but because of the mental part of boot camp, which involved the drill instructor yelling or screaming when he made a mistake or two. Rod had to control himself because he wanted to fight his drill instructors but knew that was a battle he would not win and would be a bad day for him.

Alexis Huntsinger, the mother of Rod Hunsinger and Astra Minerva Washington, and Leandro Arsenio Washington, the parents of Tobias Washington, did not want to see their kids in pain. Alexis Huntsinger, Astra Minerva Washington, and Leandro Arsenio Washington wanted to find a solution to help Rod Huntsinger and Tobias Washington's recovery go smoothly. Still, they know because of their kid pride, they would refuse help. Rod and Tobias are stubborn and will face difficulties until they solve their problem, and their recovery is no exception to healing physically and mentally.

On Rod Huntsinger and Tobias Washington's regimen schedule, they must see a psychiatrist at least once weekly. The reason for Rod and Tobias seeing a psychiatrist is to be evaluated to make sure they are not dangerous to others or themself. Rod and Tobias both find it not very masculine to express how they feel to their psychiatrist or people in general since they see it as a sign of weakness.

Rod and Tobias must also visit the hospital at least once a week. The purpose of the visit is because Rod and Tobias' doctors want to make sure that the regimen they created is helping them and not hindering their healing progress. Rod and Tobias' doctors know that they will not be recovering fast from all the physical trauma their bodies experienced, but they need to see what type of progress has occurred. Rod and Tobias, as far as they are concerned, are good to go back to their unit.

Rod and Tobias's doctors tested them first by having them do various types of stretches. The purpose of Rod and Tobias' stretch was to see their muscle flexibility and movements. The doctors wanted to ensure Rod and Tobias did not feel pain when they did the various stretches. After having Rod and Tobias do simple workouts such as push-ups, sit-ups, crunches, and jumping jacks, they were told to jog in place. The purpose of jogging in place was to see how their legs moved. The doctors' final test was having Rod and Tobias do hard-core exercises like planks, burpees, dragon flags, etc.

The Syndicate of Invisibility has infiltrated the hospital that Rod and Tobias are going to for their recovery, the terrorist group they faced. Within The Syndicate of Invisibility, there is a particular group that specializes in seeing their patients recover to take all of their hope away. Rod and Tobias have yet to be made aware of this because, right now, they are focused on healing so they can return to their unit. For Rod and Tobias to return to the unit, they must be healed physically and mentally. Since The Syndicate of Invisibility has money, they study and research their victims.

Currently, Rod Huntsinger's mother, Alexis Sky Huntsinger, is in danger with her son, Rod Huntsinger. Tobias Washington and his mother, Astra Minerva Washington, and his father, Leandro Arsenio Washington, are also in danger. The Syndicate of Invisibility buys off individuals who can be helpful for their agenda. The reason why one has never discovered The Syndicate of Invisibility's top members is that once their members get found, they get killed, so no clues are left behind, or any witnesses are left alive to expose who they are and how they operate.

As of right now, The Syndicate of Invisibility is planning to refrain from attacking since they are playing the role that was assigned to them. Once The Syndicate of Invisibility reaches their goal, they will go after Rod and Tobias along with their parents. The Syndicate of Invisibility is very particular in how they calculate their plans and their timeframe to achieve them.

Rod and Tobias went back to doing their daily routine. Rod's routine involved pushing himself physically with intense workouts so he could go back to his unit. Tobias' routine involved him stretching a lot so he could return to having flexibility and movement in his joints. The purpose of Rod and Tobias' routine schedule that their doctors created was to give them the hope of encouragement of healing before getting them to despair and no hope of getting better.

Unfortunately, Rod and Tobias are not ordinary people who do not trust anyone, so they expect the worst in individuals before relying upon them. Rod and Tobias, since they were scouts in their unit, always did surveillance on anyone, including their doctors, who were no exception. Rod and Tobias couldn't find any information on their doctors, so they do not know everything is part of their plans to try to destroy them. The Syndicate of Invisibility is always two to three steps ahead of anyone, no matter how good Rod and Tobias' surveillance is.

Tobias and Rod had to go back to see their psychiatrist because they were required to express how they felt no matter how much they hated it. Rod and Tobias accidentally discovered a message that was not meant for them to hear by their psychiatrist. The message was, "How are our victims doing mentally? Are they getting better? Even though they were always in good health, we just made them believe our lies by telling them they were physically and mentally impaired. "

After Rod and Tobias overheard that message when their section ended, they were enraged. Rod and Tobias planned to do more surveillance on the hospital, clinic, and any place they could sneak in to keep their eyes on everyone. Now that Rod and Tobias have learned that their recovery was faked and they were in good health already, they will use The Syndicate of Invisibility method as bait for them even though they know it's risky.
