Chapter 129 The Husband
“What is this?” Paul ask as he watch them go down on their kneels.
“We are sorry for everything that happened but Bianca needs your help right now”
“I don't think so” Paul said looking at them.
“Just look at what Bianca did to my daughter” he said pointing at Sharon lying in the arms of the maid and bandage all over because of the cuts she received from the broken glass table.
“We are so sorry sir but Bianca is about to die”
“Die?”.. Paul and Christy jumped up at the same time making Bianca's friend to stand up in shock.
“Yes sir and the doctor said they need husband thousand as deposit before they will attend to her”
“Just husband thousand?” Paul and Christy shouted at the same time.
“Yes just hundred thousand”
“Ok… Ok…. that is not a problem I will give the money” Paul and Chrissy said simultaneously looking at each other.
“No honey don’t worry I will give the money” Paul told Christy.
“Ok but I’m coming with you”
“All right, let’s go” they all rush out of the house to Paul’s car.
“Please take care of my daughter” Christy told the maid.
“Yes ma’am I will” they all rushed down to the hospital and her friends took them to the doctor's office.
“Hello sir, please this is her husband he will pay the bills sir”
“Ok welcome sir please sit down” the doctor offer Paul and Christy a seat.
“Are you the husband?” the doctor asked Paul and he turned to look at Christy who nods her head signaling for Paul to say yes. He turned to the doctor and only nod his head at him.
“Okay and who is this woman beside you?”
“She's my wife” Paul said without hesitation.
“Ok I understand, so the woman in there your wife has some serious complication that affect the baby in her womb and she needs urgent attention but you need to deposit a hundred thousand and as well sign some documents before we start with the surgery”
“Ok… ok.. doc please where can I pay the money and where am I signing the documents?, please do all you can to save her life” Paul said.
“Ok no problem come with me” Paul follow the doctor while Christy followed Bianca’s friend to where she is.
“What is she doing here?” Bianca asked angry immediately she saw Christy.
“Will you calm down?” her friends shouted at her.
“Oh… so you girls are taking her side now, don’t worry let me get out of this hospital first”
“My friend will you shut up your mouth?” one of her friend said. “Don’t you know she’s the one about to save your life?”
“What nonsense are you girls talking about?”
“Look, we are sorry ok, she offer to help” Bianca just looked at Christy and turn the other way.
Christy just stood there looking at Bianca wondering what a village girl she is.
“Well maybe I will just go”, she makes to leave but Paul enters with the doctor.
“Don’t die there ok, stay alive for us” her friends yell at Bianca.
