Haunted House II

" Roar!!!" The huge baby like cursed spirit roared out and smashed its fist unto the ground causing a large earthquake.

Everyone immediately jumped out of the way, as a large fissure formed where they stood.

" Devil Dog, with me!!!" Kurama roared out and held his sword in reverse grip and rushed out at full speed. Upon reaching the cursed spirit, he jumped, twisted his body and slashed his sword like an experienced swordsman.

"Slashhh!!" A huge gash appeared on the chest of the cursed spirit, as corrosive blood spilled out, while it met out roars of pain.

Distracted by Kuramas attack, it didn't notice the devil Dog sneaking behind it and biting a huge chunk of the flesh on its back.

" Roar!!!" It roared out and smashed its fist towards Kurama who flipped back in the air and avoided the blow.

" Ancestral Lightning Technique; First form: Thunderclap and Flash!!!" Ichigo got into a stance and closed his eyes. After letting out a low murmur, lightning began to gather on his body, before he directly transformed into a streak of lightning and flashed towards the cursed spirit.

" Shiiing!" An instant later, he appeared behind the monster and sheathed his sword.

The monsters head cleanly fell off, but it picked it up and fixed it back into its position once more.

" Roar!!!" The monster roared in resentment and smashed its fist towards Ichigo who dodged in a flash of lightning.

" Cursed Technique: Wind Blades!" Mai raises her hand as she levitated in the air and several wind blades coalesced and shot towards the cursed spirit. They completely slashed through it mincing it into pieces.

" Good work Mai!" Kurama smiled and stood beside his teammates.

Just as they were about to leave, they realized something, the flesh of the cursed spirit was still wriggling. Slowly, it condensed together into four smaller cursed spirits the size of an average person.

" Bang!" Ichigo who had completely let his guard down was smashed in the chest by a punch and was sent flying as he crashed into a wall.

Kurama and Mai wanted to run to Ichigo, but were easily intercepted by two of the cursed spirits as they engaged both of them in brutal combat.

Madara was also about to run to Ichigo, when his senses picked up on a cursed energy signature just behind him.

With a flip he narrowly dodged a huge fist from the humanoid looking cursed spirit.

Enabling his power of foresight, his pupils turned bright green as he immediately side stepped to the left and dodged another attack from the monster.

The monster was too fast for him and he was too weak to land a solid hit, so he passively dodged all the monsters attacks, weaving his body through its punches and kicks like a seasoned parkour artist.

" Roar!!!" The cursed spirit immediately let out a loud roar, seeing as it was unable to touch Madara and opened its mouth.

Immediately seeing what the monster was going to do, Madara immediately sped away and and the moment he did, a large beam of cursed energy smashed into the wall behind him.

" Shit I can't keep running for long!!" Madara run as fast as he could in zig zag, his entire face covered in sweat as he saw Kurama who facing off with two of the monsters and Mai who was fighting another cursed spirit.

In the split second he was distracted, he tripped, fell and hit his head hard on the ground. Instantly, the monster capitalized and appeared right in front of him and opened its mouth to fire another attack.

However just as it was about to, a long katana covered in lightning streaks immediately slashed right through the monster, as it's body turned to ashes.

" Are you alright?" Ichigo appeared and helped Madara up.

" I'm fine, go help them!" Madara smiled and patted his shoulder, after which Ichigo vanished in a streak of lightning.

Before anyone could react, the three monsters were directly bisected by a streak of lightning as their bodies turned to ashes.

" Good work Ichigo." Kurama patted Ichigos shoulder with a smile.

" Madara, are you alright? I saw how you held out against the cursed spirit. Well done." He also patted Madara's shoulder and smiled at him.

" What the hell was that thing Kurama?!" Mai asked as she took water from a small pouch and drank.

" I don't know Mai. But what I can say is, we're up against an extremely terrifying enemy and we're completely outmatched. If that enemy was able to manipulate and create a cursed spirit just be absorbing the negative emotions from the dead children, then it should be at least a second grade curse."

Kurama spoke with a frown.

" We have to leave as soon as possible and notify the higher ups." Kurama turned and spoke.

" Shaashaaa!" Immediately they heard the annoying sound again and turned vigilant.

" Your leader is right little children, you're completely outclassed and you're going to be my dinner tonight! So do you want to play. Hahahahaha!!" The team immediately turned around and saw an extremely disgusting creature.

" You've gotta be kidding me." Madara saw a clown like cursed spirit with nasty long tentacles behind it. How could he forget that face?! He had several nightmares when he was kid just from watching that movie where the clown ate children.
