"Wow Jun you're really smart!!" A girl with short brown hair praised him.

"Nah, anyone could have done it if they tried." He replied not wanting to seem to abnormal.

Shaking her head the girl pointed at the girl who had answered the question wrongly.

"If Saya was unable to do it then there's no way that anyone in the class would be able to."

"Saya?" He said before turning towards the black haired girl who was eating her lunch by herself.

"Yeah, Kisaragi Saya. She's the smartest girl in our class."

The girl telling him all of this was named Futaba Tae. She was quite the attractive girl in his opinion and the class representative. She had short brown hair, warm brown eyes and had a tomboy like aura about her.

'Kisaragi Saya? Isn't she the girl from Blood C.'

Taking another look at the girl, Jun found that he was actually right about that fact. The only thing was... She seemed to be the real Saya and not the fabricated one created by Fumito.

"What ya talking about?" Sophia came over and asked.

"Jun's amazing isn't he! He solved that problem like it was nothing!"

"Ah shucks." He blushed.

This made the two girls chuckle.

"Hey hey, why don't we go to the arcade after school?" Tae asked gleefully.

"Yes!!" Sophia cheered.

"Sure, should we invite anyone else?" Jun said.

"Hmm... What about Elena, Saya and Koneko?"

Koneko was the quiet white haired girl in the class. Throughout the entire day she had sat by herself without saying a word to anybody. When Jun asked about her, the only response was that she's really antisocial. Only Tae tried to interact with her whilst everyone else treated her like air.

"Koneko chan has an after school club so she can't attend." Tae said sadly.

'After school club? Does she mean the occult research club?'

The moment he had entered the school he had already sensed a few magical signatures that were blatantly obvious. At first he thought that they were doing it on purpose, but after seeing Koneko in class he realized that they were just retards that either didn't know how to suppress their energy or didn't even realize that it was leaking.

He was honestly disappointed. If they already lacked this much control then Jun would have to rethink befriending them... But messing with them might be fun...

Having just thought of an evil but brilliant idea he turned towards Tae and smiled.

"You guys deal with inviting Elena and Saya, I'll go invite Koneko." He told the girls before getting up.

"Yo." He grabbed a chair and sat in front of the white haired cat girl.

"..."

She didn't answer and merely looked up at him before returning back to her lunch.

"A lot of fish in there." He smiled seeing her lunchbox.

"So listen up, I heard that your quite the social outcast in the class, I'd like to give you the opportunity to change your status amongst your peers."

"

She once again ignored him and ate her lunch with a slight hint of annoyance on her face.

"So I'd like to invite you on an after school escapade with me and a couple classmates."

"..."

'Ignoring me again huh... Well its not like I didn't expect it.'

Smiling at her silence he prepare to pull out his trump card.

"Of course you don't have to, but it'd be a shame if someone of your ability wasn't there in case an accident befell your poor classmates. I mean, in this town there are many unexplainable occurrences happening, having 3 students suddenly disappear wouldn't be that shocking now would it?"

Halting her chopsticks, for the first time since he started talking, she gave him a proper look.

"What's with that face? I'm just saying that it'd be a shame if a girl with instincts and abilities such as yourself let her classmates disappear due to her own antisocial behavior. I mean what if a big bad devil came along and decided to I don't know... Eat their hearts?" He said with a grin.

*SNAP*

Hearing the mention of the word devil caused her to accidentally break her chopsticks.

"Well aren't you strong." He teased.

"See you after school kitty." He waved before leaving.

"So? What'd she say?" Sitting around his desk was the energetic Tae and Sophia and with them were their less energetic counterparts Saya and Elena.

Seeing them all together made him realize that school might actually be some fun.

"She said she'll be there."

Once class had finished Jun and the others grabbed their things and were about to leave the class when they just so happened to see Koneko being called by a brown haired guy who was oogling over the girls in the class.

'So that's Hyoudou Issei... How disappointing.'

Walking up to the two Gremory devils he slung his arm around Koneko's shoulder and smiled at Issei.

"Sorry bro but Koneko chan's gonna have to skip club activities today."

Taken back by Jun's arm around his usually violent devil kouhai, his brain short circuited for a moment only to realize that Koneko and the white haired boy had already left.

"C'mon don't make that face." Jun joked pinching her cheeks.

*Slap*

Slapping his hand away Koneko looked at him with silent but undisguised rage.

"Kitties got claws." He teased.

"What do you want?" She asked through grit teeth.

"Hmm? A smile would be nice."

Her aura flared up for a second and attracted the attention of Saya, Sophia and Elena.

"Hey, what are you guys talking about back there!?" Tae yelled from the front.

"Koneko chan just told me that she wants to show off her vocals at karaoke!!" He yelled back.

"Woah really!!"

Everyone turned to look at Koneko who was clenching her fist but reluctantly nodded.

"YES!!" Both Tae and Sophia jumped up and high-fived before pulling her to the front with them.

"What did you do to her?" Elena strayed back and asked.

"What do you mean?" Jun said with a confused expression.

She looked at him for a moment before softening her features.

'I definitely sensed something... Could it be that he's just a normal human and didn't feel anything'

"Elena?"

"Huh?" She snapped back to reality.

"You okay?" He asked with a worried look.

Seeing him so concerned about her made her smile gently and nod her head.

Saya on the other hand was quietly watching from the side and had her eyes focused on Jun.

*Whew!!*

Sophia and Tae danced as they sang into the microphones.

'They really hit it off didn't they.'

Jun smiled and watched the pair of energetic girls sing their hearts out.

"You gonna sing next?" He turned to Saya.

"I don't sing." She said coldly.

"Really?"

'If I remember correctly, the brainwashed Saya sang quite a bit... Speaking of which, does Fumito exist in this world or does Saya also have an altered history?'

"I bet you've got a really nice voice." He smiled gently and tried to encourage her.

"..."

"Oh yeah, why are you carrying that around?" He pointed at a katana wrapped in cloth so no one would realize that it was a real sword.

"..."

"Not the talkative type are you?"

"..."

"Well that's fine. Quiet girls have their own charm."

"..."

"You know Saya chan you're-

"Please don't refer to as such." She said with a hint of disgust in her voice.

"Oh? But Saya chan sounds so cute, don't you agree?" He provoked her.

Turning towards him, a look of anger briefly flashed across her face.

"What are you?"

"I don't understand what you mean?" He cocked his head to the side.

Keeping her voice down she pulled a small knife out of her sleeve.

"I'll only ask one more time. What are you."

Looking at the shiny knife, Jun unintentionally smiled.

'How should I play this? I could freak out and make her look like a psycho... Or I could go along with her and reveal myself... Decisions decisions...'

"What!!" He stood up with a shocked expression on his face which drew everyone's attention.

"You okay Jun?" Tae stopped singing and asked seeing that Jun didn't look okay.

"Yeah, its just... Saya chan said she wanted to do a duet with Ko-chan!"

"Ko-chan?" They all had confused looks on their faces.

"Saya chan came up with the name. She said that Koneko was so cute that she deserved a nickname. She even came up with one for you two." He smiled and looked at the pissed Saya.

"Ko-chan.... Ahhhh its SO CUTE!!" Sophia pulled Koneko into a hug and started to suffocate her with her melons.

"I want a nickname to Saya chan!!" Tae went and grabbed Saya's hand making her drop the knife.

Kicking it under the sofa Jun made sure that no one saw it.

Both girls tried to subdue their energetic friends while secretly glaring at a smiling Jun.
