Innocence

2 days had passed since Jun's date with Tae and he was feeling bored. Class was an absolute bore as he already knew more than his teachers and didn't feel challenged at all.

'Screw this.'

Pushing his chair out, he stood up and grabbed his bag.

"Jun?" Tae, Elena and Sophia looked at him.

"What are you doing Mr Kusanagi?" The bald headed teacher asked and put down his chalk.

"I'm going home." Without waiting for the teacher or anybody else to say anything, he put his earphones in his ears and walked out of the class without looking back.

'I bet those devils are probably gonna look for me later... Well Koneko should be able to tell them that I left class.'

Sitting on a bench drinking a Dr pepper that he had just got after using the Yamato to take him to America, Jun thought about what he should do next. He was stuck between going to visit Ichigo and summoning Rider. According to the information he'd recently received from Illya, the grail war should start in a month or two so he should prepare in advance. He should also make sure that Sakura isn't anywhere near the city during that time. Then there was the whole visiting Rin and Yukio plus Lukako arrangement.

"Ah, so busy..."

"Um excuse me." A small voice sounded out in front of him.

"Hmm?" Opening his eyes he was greeted to the sight of a blonde haired girl dressed in a nun uniform.

'Isn't this one of the devil bunch?'

"Can I help you?" He asked slightly annoyed by the fact that he was woken up.

After explaining that she was lost and was looking for a church in the area, Jun decided to take her knowing full well what would happen. Its not that he wanted her to become a devil or anything, it was more akin to the fact that he couldn't give a fuck about her character.

"So your a nun huh."

"Yes. I am a servant of the one true God." She said and did a quick hail Mary.

"Cool... God is dead by the way." Jun casually announced.

"Excuse me?"

"What?"

She looked at him a bit strangely before saying.

"I thought I heard you say something about God?"

"Ah, I said he seems like a cool dude. Y'know letting all those African children starve and allowing wars to devastate innocent lives and what not. Cool guy right?"

"Are you... being sarcastic?" She asked a little confused.

".....Sure...."

Looking down at her untainted green eyes, Jun couldn't bring himself to stomp on her beliefs.

'Am I turning soft?'

While they were walking, the church eventually came into view.

"I guess this is where we part ways, thank you for escorting me. May God bless you."

Turning around, she headed towards the church and left Jun standing where he was.

'....GOD DAMMIT'

Although the timeline seemed to be out of order, Jun remembered what would happen to the poor girl if she went inside that church.

"Hey." He suddenly called out to her.

"Yes?" She turned around.

"Well... Have you eaten yet?"

"So this is a hot dog!?" She said examining the sausage and bread.

"How sheltered were you?" Jun asked taking a bite out of his own.

"It wasn't that bad. The people back at the monastery were very nice."

"Heh, so did you perform miracles in your spare time?"

"I'm incapable of performing real miracles. But I did heal a lot of people." She answered and took a nibble out of hot dog.

"Ha, miracles huh." He laughed and thought back on that grey haired fool who sacrificed himself for his son.

"Um Jun... Are you okay?" Asia asked looking at him with concern.

"Yeah... Just thinking about someone who was just as devoted as you are."

"Really? I'd like to meet this person!"

"I think he would have liked to meet you to." Jun smiled and pet her head.

"Would have?... Oh!... I'm sorry for my insensitive comment." She bowed her head.

"Its fine, nothing could have been done about it." He waved off her apology.

"My words were still insensitive. Please forgive me."

'So pure...'

"Then I'll forgive you if answer a question of mine."

"Anything!!"

"Hmm... Then tell me why you saved a devil with your ability?"

"Y-You know about that." She looked at him in shock, but not wary that he could be a bad guy.

"I know a lot of things." He smiled.

"Wow! You really are amazing Jun!"

"Tell me something I don't know" He chuckled.

"So why did you help a devil despite knowing that they're the enemies of the church?"

"I-I helped him because he was hurt. God's teachings say that we should help our neighbors and forgive our enemies."

'How righteous.'

"Asia, do you know who that devil was?"

"Uh uh." She shook her head.

"He's a member of the Astaroth family. Its not the first time he's done this either. His hobby is corrupting young women such as yourself."

"He wouldn't do that."

"He's a devil Asia. Corrupting people are kinda what they're famous for. Y'know the whole garden of eden thing and all." He slurped on a milkshake.

"But what would he gain out of doing that?"

"You don't get it do you Asia. You've helped a devil. In the eyes of the church you are no longer clean. You've been tainted. Why do you think that they'd send you, their holy maiden to the territory of a devil?"

"They-

"Do you know what's inside that church? Angels! And not the fluffy ones you're thinking of. No, I'm talking about the ones who have given into their desires and have had their pure white wings blackened in sin! You know who I'm talking about."

"T-The fallen." She said in a quiet voice.

"Yeah, those big boobed bitches are just waiting for you to walk right through those doors so they can take your sacred gear."

"I-I have to go." She dropped the hot dog and stood up.

"If you go there you'll die." Jun warned.

"E-Even so. As I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me."

"I don't think Bible verses are gonna save you."

"If I am meant to die, then I will greet our father in heaven."

'Unfortunately that father has been dead for centuries.'

*Sigh*

"Y'know you can be really stubborn."

Pulling out his phone he opened his contacts and made a call.

"Hello?"

"Hey Tae-chan."

"Don't call me that, its disgusting."

"Its cute."

"....Where are you? Why'd you suddenly leave?"

"About that, I'll text you the details later but can you do me a favor and pass the phone to Ko-chan."

"Why?"

"Please Tae."

"Fine."

"Hello?" Koneko's voice sounded out through the phone.

"Yo kitty cat, do me a favor and tell Rias and Sona that I've found a couple of fallen angels and a stray priest camping out at the abandoned church in west Kuoh. I'm probably gonna make a lot of noise and you guys are really good at cleaning up so I'll leave that part to you. Bye."

Hanging up the phone he turned to look at Asia.

"Ready to go?"
