10 year Reunion

Originally Jun was planning on going to Tokyo in order to visit Takeru and Kiseki, but after remembering that there was a pesky Goddess waiting for him he instantly rejected the notion.

"So when are you going?"

"No time like the present right?" Jun stood up from the ground and watched the sun set in the distance. "Plus I get the feeling that something fun will happen if I go now."

Looking at his back, Saya couldn't help but smile.

"How you planning to get there? Car? Train?"

Turning back around, Jun showed off a dazzling smile and summoned out the Yamato.

"Teleportation."

Slashing open a portal in front of him he sent a smile her way before jumping through it.

"...He can teleport....."

Walking out of the portal, Jun landed on top of a large skyscraper overlooking the entire city.

'Hasn't changed a bit.'

Closing his eyes and breathing in the air, Jun soaked in the atmosphere and enjoyed the feeling of returning to the city he met Daruku in. It was only when he felt the abnormal amount of spiritual pressure spawning from the distance that he finally opened his eyes.

Executing the Koku Shundō, he pushed off the air itself and shot into the distance.

"ROAR ZABIMARU!!"

"ICHIGO!!"

*BOOM!!*

Swinging his sword down, Renji unleashed the full power of Zabimaru in its shikai mode. The collision between the two left clouds of smoke wafting through the air as dust clouds concealed the vision of both Rukia and Byakuya.

"Hey, hey Ichigo." Jun's voice rang out through the cloud. "I thought that you'd much be stronger than this by now."

Unleashing a tiny bit of his demonic aura, the dust clouds were swept away and revealed the figure of Jun blocking Renji's sword with the Yamato.

Sitting flat on his ass, Ichigo saw a white haired young man standing before him dressed in a school uniform that he had never seen before. "What the hell!?" Just a minute ago he was preparing to go all out against the red haired shinigami, but just as the two were about to clash he felt someone pull him back and take his place. But the weird thing was that he got the feeling that he'd met the white haired boy before.

Breaking the sword lock, Renji jumped back in retreat before preparing to start another assault.

"Who are you?" He got into a stance that would allow for a quick response.

Smiling at the question Jun placed the Yamato on his shoulder before answering. "Beat me and you'll find out."

*Swoosh!*

"Bastard- GYAH!!"

"A flash step?" Standing at the back, Byakuya watched the white haired youth flash step in front of Renji and socked him in the stomach hard enough that he was sent flying into the distance. But what confused him was that the flash step that he employed was different from the one that the shinigami used.

"You next?" After getting rid of Renji Jun turned to look at the ever stoic shinigami captain.

Not losing his composure, Byakuya stood motionless and sized him up.

"How are you able to see us... No human should be capable of achieving such a feat. But that brief moment when you revealed yourself... That power you unleashed... You're not human are you?"

Shrugging his shoulders, Jun didn't really care to explain what he was, but since he enjoyed the fight between Ichigo and Byakuya in the soul society arc he decided to grace him with a quick explanation.

"Well you see I'm actually not fully hu-

"Silence Hollow, I don't know how you are capable of assuming such a form. But as a member of the Gotei 13 and the captain of the 6th division, I will eliminate you."

"... At least let me finish my explanation."

*CLANG!!*

'I guess we're done talking.'

Using shunpo, Byakuya lunged at the motionless Jun and forced him to raise the Yamato to block Senbonzakura.

Feeling the ground crack beneath him from the force of the clash, Jun grinned and pushed the long haired captain back and dashed towards him. Executing Shunpo Byakuya dodged and appeared behind Jun.

"Its over hollow."

"Is it?" Executing Shundo, Jun appeared behind the arrogant Byakuya with a huge grin on his face.

Furrowing his brow Byakuya used Shunpo to distance himself from the white haired boy only to find that Jun was still standing behind him. Activating it again he escaped to an area further away from Rukia and Ichigo.

Vanishing from sight, Jun appeared in front of the captain and executed a numerous amount of punches until Byakuya's face was bruised and swollen. Vanishing again, he appeared behind him and grabbed onto his long hair and used it to swing him around before sending him crashing into a nearby building.

"CAPTAIN!!"

*BANG!!*

Raising his head, Jun smiled at the now battle frenzied Renji. "Nice to have you back." Teleporting behind him, Jun swept him off his feet before curb-stomping his face into the pavement.

"Scatter Senbonzakura."

A stream of beautiful pink petals appeared in the distance and surrounded the pig faced Byakuya.

"Y'know, with your face like that, it kinda ruins the beauty of the petals."

*BOOM!!*

"Woah, you almost got me."

*BOOM!!*

*BOOM!!*

*BOOM!!*

*BOOM!!*

Using his teleportation Jun managed to dodge the horde of thousands tiny blade sweeping towards him.

"You're going to have to be faster than that if you want to catch me." He smiled and closed the distance between them.

"Your arrogance will be your undoing hollow."

As Jun appeared in front of him, Byakuya recalled Senbonzakura and the blade shot up through the ground and almost slashed Jun's face in two.

Jumping back he made sure his face was alright.

'I didn't know he could use it like that.'

While Jun was busy fighting Byakuya, Rukia and Ichigo were dealing with the hollows who were attracted to the battle.

"Hey Rukia." He called and stabbed a hollow. "Who the hell was that?"

"I don't know! He said your name, shouldn't you know him!" Using what little power she could muster, Rukia used a hado to entrap a hollow while Ichigo finished it off.

Defending against the petals, Jun was flashing around the battlefield having the time of his life. For the first time in a long time he was genuinely enjoying a battle, albeit he was holding back, but it was fun non the less.

Surrounding Jun with Senbonzakura, a small smile emerged on Byakuya's face as he clenched his fist and made the petals converge on him from all angles.

"Its over."

Hearing his words, Jun couldn't help but smirk as he activated his Dark slayer style ability and vanished from the world long enough for the omni-directional attack to destroy the area he would have been standing at.

"Captain..." Renji struggled to get to his feet and trudged over towards the pig faced Byakuya.

"...We'll retreat for now."

"What! But what about capturing Rukia and taking that kid's power back!"

Byakuya briefly stopped his steps and turned back to look at the worn out Renji. "You are in no condition to fight."

"But capta-

"We will return."

Clenching his fists, he wanted to say something but eventually let it go. "Yes captain."

Opening the gate to the Seireitei, the two shinigami prepared to leave only to pause when a certain voice rang out.

"Leaving already?"

Turning around, the two saw an unscathed Jun leaning on a lamppost with his arms crossed. The moment Renji laid eyes on him he wanted to draw out his Zanpakutō but was stopped by his captain.

Looking at the white haired boy exuding confidence, Byakuya still couldn't feel any energy coming off him. He assumed that he was a hollow due to the wisp of energy he revealed earlier, but the longer they fought the less he thought that was the case. In fact he seemed like he was completely human. He then started to think that he was a spirit medium, but didn't want to make a mistake and assume incorrectly.

"I would kill you, but right now my job is to report this back to my superior. The next time we meet will be your last."

"Looking forward to it." Jun waved and watched the two enter the gate.
