A breakfast platter - I
Whatever was the plan, it was not decided, even after grace went home. Again, she did not get to go until after nine and when she reached home, her grandmother was already asleep. Julie had retired to bed as well.
At times like these, when she was alone in her big apartment, Grace wondered if she should make Julie her friend. But then again, Julie's primary concern was her grandmother. Not to mention that her contract would be up in a few weeks as well. There was no reason to make her friend when she was going to eventually leave anyway.
But having no one giving for her also meant that she came home to no dinner.
At nine, Grace had no energy left in her body to actually cook something for herself. Even though she had the option of ordering from outside, she did not want to wait for it.
