The Crystal

As soon as the stone on my skin appeared. It went away like it was never there to begin with. I was still very hungry and needed something to eat.

I kneeled over to the dead creature and started eating its guts. I was feeling good that I finally ate. Suddenly, the creature's stomach started glowing.

I cut open the stomach and saw a crystal. I looked at the glowing beauty.

The strange voice in my head. The voice compelled me to eat the crystal. Even though I didn't want to. But, my hand reached toward it and…

*crunch*

The crystal melted on my tongue. I could taste the sweetness coating my tongue, sliding to my stomach.
